My Great Dane puppy was being left home while I went to work. We tried having a dog sitter come by to let him out but ultimately he would have so much pent up energy and was not very fun to be around in the evening when we were all winding down. For less than the cost of a dog sitter he can go to camp while we are at work and gets to socialize with other dogs too! It’s a win win y’all!

Awesome place to board your dogs. They give your dogs attention and plenty of loving while they are at daycare of boarding. Miss Princess loves each and every person there. She loves to go see her friends and making new friends also.

Very friendly staff, availability was great, and they made me and puppers feel very welcome.

This place is fantastic! The booking, drop off and pick up are seamless. Everyone is extremely friendly and communication is great! It is such a relief to have a trustworthy place to keep our pup. We Love Camp Bow Wow!

I made an appointment for an "interview" for our dog at noon on Wednesday May 5th 2021 at 12 Noon. Unfortunately, I was 20 minutes late to the appointment and our dog's interview was refused. It seemed odd that there were 2 people behind the counter at the time and neither offered to cut me a little slack and perform the interview at that time. There were no other customers in the office and the staff's level of activity appeared low. Rather, one of them stayed firmly seated behind the computer screen and announced that I was late for the appointment and blurted out that I could not be seen until about 2 PM that day. The other one was on her way out of the office and also practically ignored me. The staff showed no flexibility whatsoever in accommodating me given my tardiness. There was no way that I would have been able to return at 2 PM that day as my work schedule was too busy. I had the full intention of spending a significant amount of money on boarding and daycare with this facility to take care of our dog. My wife was out taking care of some medical issues during the week and left me with the pooch. I needed a facility that could handle the dog for multiple days. Other than being 20 minutes late, I had all of the dog's records with me at the time and was fully prepared for the interview. I had also sent the records to the facility (via email) around 7 AM that morning to ensure that they had the information up front. Funny thing is that they never responded to my email that I had sent with the records. In retrospect, that was a sign of the type of treatment that was waiting for me once I arrived! I do realize that my experience might have been an anomaly based on the multiple positive reviews that I saw on Google prior to making the appointment. That said, I have no intention of frequenting this facility again as the treatment provided to me by the staff was neither courteous nor professional. Those considering this facility should be forewarned to be ready for such treatment.

We have left our dogs there for boarding and daycare and I feel very comfortable leaving them there. Friendly staff and the love of dogs.

We are new to the Camp Bow Wow pack but so far we love it! Everyone is so kind and professional, and we love the process they are taking our dog Bella through before allowing her to board with them. Top notch all the way.

I like Camp Bow Wow because the people working there are very friendly and really seem to care about my dogs. They get to know my pets and take good care of them. I feel the dogs are safe and will get to play during their stay.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Clean facility. My dogs loved their time there for the “doggie interview” - I left feeling SO good about leaving my dogs there overnight for an upcoming trip. I have used dog boarding places in the past that didn’t give me the same warm fuzzy that they do. I honestly trust that they treat my dogs just like we do at home! Lots of love and care! It’s also nice to have the live cams so you can see how happy your pups are throughout the day. Also, huge thanks for wearing out my high energy pups! Can’t wait for our next visit!

This place is wonderful! During the winter storms, the owners stayed on the property 24/7 to assure all of the animals were taken care of and warm. Our poodle Manu loves going there and interacting with the other dogs. If you're looking for a safe, clean, fun place for your pets, Camp Bow Wow is the best!

I had to travel for 6 weeks for work and was forced to find a place for my sweet boy. I thought I was leaving my dog in good hands. When I picked him up today he was rail thin. You can see his spine and ribs! I left a beautiful healthy dog and came back to a dog that was neglected. I asked why didn’t they tell me he wasn’t doing well and they had the nerve to tell me he did very well with them. I was in tears bathing his bony body. If you are thinking of leaving your dog with them DONT!!!! They only care about money. These people don’t have an ounce of care for animals.

Our high-energy pup always comes home very tired after a day of daycare, which is exactly why we send her! Love being able to watch her play with her friends on the live webcams. Friendly staff that obviously love dogs.

My dogs love it here, everyone is super friendly.

They recognize my dog immediately when I bring him in and they show him so much love. I drive 30 minutes just to board my dog overnight with them for 2 reasons : They ALWAYS have a staff member back in the yard with the dogs either petting or sanitizing. Secondly, their app allows us to view the dogs in action via 3 different cameras.

I like knowing that my camper is going to have a great day with her furry friends and the kind staff, instead of sitting at home with nothing to do. She comes home with a smile on her face, if she can stay awake long enough to make it home that is.

I feel compelled to leave my experience. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. I have a 5 month old mini Schnoodle (poodle/Schnauzer mix). Since he is only 5 months old, he has not yet been away from us or around other dogs. We are going out of town July 4th weekend and were looking for a board; this place is half way between where we live in SW Austin and where we will be staying 4th of July. I read all the reviews and felt pretty good about giving this place a trial. I scheduled my appointment for the 'meet and greet.' I drove 35 mins to this place the day of our evaluation - I was about 10 mins late due to traffic and distance. On the way I got a call asking if I was almost there because they had another 'meet and greet' 30 mins after they had scheduled mine. When we arrived, there was one young girl running back and forth who seemed totally frazzled. She immediately tried to get my nervous/scared five month old puppy to go back with her. She finally succeed and had me sit in the lobby. About 5 minutes later she comes out saying my puppy is too scared so she is going to try him with the tea-cups. During this time, the next 'meet and greet' appointment arrives, and another person arrives to drop off their dog for the day, all the time this same girl is the only one running back and forth tending to all three of us at the same time. About another 5 mins she comes out with my puppy and says it is not going to work because he was too nervous and growled! She suggested I come back another day when they "weren't so busy". Okay, first, they scheduled the 'meet and greet' appointment on that day and at that time! Second, these young kids that work there spent a whole ten minutes trying to rush my puppy to get comfortable around other dogs and considered that a trial to see if he could stay there. I waited to write this review because yesterday I took my puppy to another place here in Southwest Austin. The experience was night and day. I scheduled and dropped my puppy off in the morning. They took the time to get my nervous puppy inside, they kept him for eight hours to evaluate him and get him used to other dogs. When I picked him up, they said he did great! They said he was still nervous, but when I board him there they will spend extra time with him getting him comfortable around other dogs! They sent me pics and email updates during the day. I never received a follow-up call or anything from Camp Bow Wow after they met my puppy for 10 minutes and said he couldn't stay there. I would not recommend Camp Bow Wow if you have a shy or timid dog, or a dog at all needing extra attention. They seemed under staffed and unequipped to handle any dog/puppy that needs a little extra attention.

Love the staff and how much they love what they do... my German Sheperd Mila gets so excited to go play and its helped so much with her overall socialization. The staff know every dog and you can tell they really care about their campers.

Camp Bow Wow provides excellent care for my dog. The staff is friendly, caring, competent and professional. I love the extra snuggle time option every evening. My dog loves it and the staff shares photos of the time with me. I opted for a dog wash at the end of his boarding time and loved picking up a clean, happy pet. I appreciate the simple and intuitive app to book appointments and view the web cam. Overall, a great experience every time I board there!
