The lady on the lobby was rude! I asked her information about daycare and she said I could read in the website. She dragged me outside and I asked if she was not interested in getting any business. She said, no! And walked inside again. Would not trust to leave my dog there anyways!

We have been happy clients of SCPR for 6-7 years. My dogs love it so much, when I call to request a daycare slot I have to spell the word PLAY over the phone. They know when I say "do you want to go play" they are heading to SCPR & they dash to the garage door! When we arrive they literally are busting out of the car door to get inside and be part of their SCPR pack. I often laugh with the staff "my dogs prefer being here over our house". It is such peace of mind knowing they are happy. We have tried numerous daycares, both in the area & in other locations around the country. Hands down this is the best facility for so very many reasons. The staff!!! Brittany is by far & away the best. There have been one or two occasions over the years when I tried to board my furry family at the last minute, not expecting an opening...and Brittany worked some magic & accommodated our big boys. Personal note: Always book early over high boarding times!! I always book a couple months in advance....When the boys are boarded they work hard to make sure they accommodate all of the dietary mix of foods etc. If I call to check about daycare availability and it rolls to voicemail, I know they are helping another furry family & they are quick to call me back. Brittany, Hannah & staff communicate well with me & they all love on the dogs. Having been to several daycare/boarding facilities an outdoor facility for daycare is a MUST. I once had a dog become severely ill with a bladder infection from an indoor facility...she refused to urinate indoors. A healthy amount of outdoor is needed for a normal dog specifically while being boarded. The play yard is huge! And allows for healthy running and play! We love SCPR and are loyal clients! SCPR is Big Tex, Buckeye & Nellie approved!

Can not recommend this place enough! I live about 45 minutes away and if I am ever leaving town I will make sure I have time to stop by to board my Schnauzer for the weekend. She receives the best care with tons of attention from the staff. 5 out of 5

I love south lake classic pet retreat! My puppy went to daycare here and she loved it. They took great care of her and made sure that all the doggies stayed cool during the Texas heat. I definitely recommend taking your pups here!

We have three precious pups who enthusiastically regularly attend Southlake Classic Pet Retreat. Their facilities are spectacular with lots of equipment for the pups to play on and dog-friendly fake turf (no muddy puppies!) The summertime pools are extremely popular, as are the friendly staff who obviously adore our pups. We have one (literally) crazy pup that they take extra time to work with to reduce her skittishness. We receive regular reports about what they observe in our dogs. For instance, we used to take two of our dogs in together, but they noticed that our life of the party boy wasn't getting playtime in because crazy dog was guarding him. They recommended that we allow her to attend on her own so she can gain some confidence, which we did. Life of the party dog is much happier now and completely exhausted after his play days. We recently began taking our new (giant!) puppy in with crazy dog. After over a month of them attending together, they noted that crazy dog is rubbing off on puppy and he's beginning to act skittish. We'll now take him up there on a different day as well, so he'll end up well socialized. Yes, we're taking different dogs on different days, and we're glad to do it. We want strong, confident dogs, and even if crazy dog will never actually be that, she'll at least be able to stand on her own. I can honestly say that they go above and beyond to care for our babies, and just like us, they want what's best for them. A lot of other places wouldn't have considered what would make their experience there more enriching. Plus we get to see pictures of all the adorable dogs every day! The daily play pictures never fail to make me smile! But you know what the best part is? Happy exhausted dogs!

Never take your dog to this place if you love your dog. They refused to let me tour the area that my dog would be staying in- as if I was completely okay with not knowing if it was dirty, old, etc- it was like they were asking me to drop off my child without seeing the environment they were going to be playing in. They then tried to tell me that my dog was being dominate by mounting other dogs. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old, taken him to dog parks nearly every week, other doggie daycares, and have another pet at home and he has never done so much as jump on another dogs back. He is the most submissive dog I’ve ever owned- and he’s not my first dog either. They don’t have cameras to watch the dogs, they don’t let you tour the place, and they lie about what goes on in their evaluation. I don’t know why someone would even bring their dog here when something questionable and sketchy is so clearly going on. They try to comfort customers by claiming they take picture of the dogs, I saw no picture of mine and If you look at the other pictures they take, it is so close up to the dog you cannot see the environment around them. The owner and it’s employees are extremely unprofessional as you can clearly see from the other 1 star ratings that the owner gives attitude, calls people liars, and enjoyed arguing with them about how the customer had no right to be upset. All I did was take him in for an evaluation and I already had such a terrible experience that I had all this to write. 0/5 stars if I could.

Best doggie daycare around! Ignore the crazy person who says they are hiding something. They are being safe! My dog LOVES them and they LOVE her. I never worry about her. I work from home and she still goes to daycare to play.

We have taken our Furbaby there several times and have absolutely loved the staff and he is exhausted every time we get home from all the playtime in the yard. We first boarded him there in November 2020 and we’re unable to tour the facility due to Covid. Totally understandable as it’s a small family business, but before covid my future Father-in-law did an in-depth review and interviews of the staff for an article and was amazed and very impressed with the facility and the attentive staff. We love the daily pictures they post on their Facebook page of all the dogs playing in the yard together. The dogs faces and tails say it all and you can tell they are loving playtime with their friends! Charlie LOVES SCPR and he will be back soon in July for when we get married.

Our dogs came back happy and exhausted from boarding. Well be back.

Our dog loves this place! She gets so excited when we turn on Carroll far from their location! They treat the pets with such love instead of just watching them play together they love on them, have bubble days, play ball and do water play! They help with training issues and know who each dogs best friends are!! Can’t say enough good things!

Very professional, always friendly and our dogs love going for daycare. We have 2 rescue male dogs. 1 has terrible separation anxiety and we had no idea how he would interact with the Staff and with the other dogs. 2 years ago, we needed to find a caring, safe and healthy daycare for the boys. Our first visit we toured the facility and Walker did an evaluation and made us feel very comfortable with the facility and the staff. We have also met the Owner, very kind and dog loving man, who always make a point to say hello. He has trained his staff well as they treat us the same. After visiting other day cares, this was the best fit for the boys and they love going. No better feeling when your dogs are excited when you pull up and can’t wait to be greeted by one of the Staff. We trust this team to take good care of the dogs during the day and they get plenty of exercise and social interaction. Highly recommend Southlake Classic Pet Retreat.

We love SCPR!!! My pups follow me around every morning hoping that today is THE DAY they get to go to visit all their puppy friends. They are so excited when we tell them to go get in the car and eagerly and willingly sprint into the door upon arrival. We usually only go once a week but the staff knows right away who they are and welcomes them by name. We love getting to check on the pictures posted every.single.day of the dogs enjoying their days. I know now mine is a total pool hog :) Even when my pups aren't there I enjoy glancing at the pictures to see the dog smiles (because they totally do smile!). Thank you SPCR for love our pups like your own.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Southlake Classic Pet retreat for years, and we’ve always been impressed by the fantastic staff, clean facility, and how much fun our dogs seem to have when they’re boarded.

Every single day that we were gone there was a picture posted of our dog out with the other dogs having a good time and making friends. The little dogs are separated from the big dogs. Staff is so nice.

I would not take my pets anywhere else. If Southlake Classic Pet Retreat is booked up, I will ask relatives (which is never fun!) instead of going to another facility. I trust them because they turn away dogs that don't play well with others, but they don't turn away dogs based purely on the breed like some places. I believe they truly care about our pups, each on an individual basis. My dog loves to vacation here when we go out of town. She is happy to leave me when we arrive and seems sad to leave them when I pick her up. They have on-site grooming and they post pictures of your pup playing on their social media so you can keep tabs if you want. If you don't want your dog to just sit in a cage while you vacation or go to work (they offer daycare) and you want a facility you can trust, there's really no other option.

My pups LOVE this place! They know when we drive close (even if it isn't daycare days) and they never look back and say they will miss me, they are running through the door and can't wait to see their friends (which include the four-legged kind and the human kind). We are happy Southlake Classic Pet Retreat has implemented packages for daycare because we get a better deal! In addition, we feel comfortable leaving our dogs on overnight trips knowing they will get A LOT of socializing and love. The last great thing about Southlake Classic Pet Retreat is the grooming. Since our dogs already know the building and staff, they never have any problems with getting nervous getting groomed. The staff are wonderful and we truly feel they love our dogs. Thank you for being a wonderful place!!

Izzy and Shelby are regular boarders. They always seem well taken care of and come home tired but happy. We see daily pictures of them on Facebook and they are having fun!

Everyone at Southlake Classic Pet Retreat is extremely friendly & efficient at what they do. My dogs look & smell great after every groom.

Our dog LOVES this place! He goes crazy when we get there. The staff treats him very well. And the groomer is the only one we allow to trim our collie.

I have a 4 month old Dalmatian and wanted to get her socialized early. She absolutely loves Southlake Classic! The staff is so amazing, I’m honestly not sure which my pup loves more- the people there or the dogs!! She is so happy when she see the staff every time I take her. I would never take my pup anywhere else after the exceptional service I get here. Daphne is genuinely soooo excited every time I take her and sooo sad to leave! Highly highly recommend

Such a great place! My high high energy pup was exhausted after such a fun day of playing! She even whined a little when we got in the car because she didn’t wanna go! Will definitely be going a few times a week!

My fur baby Corso tail turns into a propeller about 3 blocks from arriving. He absolutely loves going here. Britney goes above and beyond, which I truly appreciate when I have to travel out of town.
