Great place for us small dog owners. Have doggie day care too. Our dog loves it too.

A great place for small dogs. A lot of individual attention for your pooch. The caretaker to dog ratio is high. And they have their own little room instead of a cage. Can't recommend it more highly!

I have used Fireplug inn to board, groom and daycare. Always top notch. My dogs have loved it.

When I went to pick up my dog, they did not know where he was. They finally found him outside sleeping under a chair, I was told. His ears were still wet and hadn’t been brushed. His fur everywhere else was extremely frizzy. Not a great experience for a first time customer. I won’t be returning.

This place gets it right. Small dogs under 25 lbs. only. My dog loves the place and he wouldn't lie to me.

This place is cool but closes daycare without notice on a whim. It’s really frustrating when you drive 30 minutes and get sent away.

The best place ever for small dogs! We have 2 Bichons and I love using Fireplug inn for doggie daycare and boarding! The best part is being able to drop them off to play while I’m out and about! It’s very clean and well supervised! We have boarded the dogs for a week at a time and I always felt secure that they were happy and well cared for! A tired dog is a good dog!

I can't say enough nice things about Fireplug Inn. The staff is courteous, friendly, and obviously loves dogs. My little ones have been known to race to the car when I say "Fireplug Inn." One of my fur babies passed away recently. Fireplug Inn sent me a sympathy card. What a kind gesture!

The best place for small dogs. Everyone is friendly and your fury family member will be well cared for. Services include grooming, boarding or doggie daycare. This is one of the few places where dogs are regularly circulated between the large bright indoor playroom and the big back grassy yard. There are plenty of people around to hold or pet your pooch. Nancy is the owner and she keeps a loyal staff.

Our pup Ozzy lights up when he realizes we’re going to Fireplug Inn, he loves it!! Amazing staff, super positive energy!

Did an amazing job on my pomeranian initial visit what's kind of off Standish however I gave them a chance to grew my dog in they did a fabulous job

I have been taking my dogs there for 7 years. They always get excellent care. When my 2 older dogs died and I got a pup, I have been taking him there for the last 3 years. There is no place better.

Had to bring in my brother-in-law's dog. He is Autistic and doesn't really keep his dog clean. The staff were patient and courteous. They did a good job relieving the poor dog of all his matted fur. And the normally grumpy dog was well behaved and happy. They even managed to save some hair on her ears. She looked and smelled much better after. We will be taking our little stinker back in regularly. Especially because they didn't overcharge us, when they totally could have with how disgusting she was.

FIREPLUG INN is the most outstanding doggy daycare I have ever used! Recently, while in Southlake Texas, I had surgery and I'm from out of town. Our dog was with us, and we set up an appointment for her to stay at FIREPLUG INN, while I was in surgery and for the rest of that day. While here for five days, we were able to drop her off for doggy day care whoever necessary. Bella had a spa day of grooming and play, and was well taken care of at every turn! The staff is simply outstanding and the facility is perfect. I wish there was a FIREPLUG INN everywhere I've ever lived!

The best of the best for playtime daycare for little dogs. Picture indoor and outdoor picked Fence play areas. You can Board or get Grooming (with 4 hours of free playtime) too. Great staff that loves them openly and they know their names. Adding a groomer that can do grooming well by hand would make it perfect.

I took a while to post this review because, I wanted to experience other dog daycares before I made my judgement. This was my first time leaving my puppy at a dog daycare. She was 5 months old at the time, & I was going to be away from home for about 9 hours that day. I was looking for somewhere that I could drop her off, and she would be able to have her lunch & an area to rest. As a 5 lb puppy, it is crucial that she has her meals so her blood sugar doesn't drop. I chose this place due to their 25lb & under policy. It made me feel a tad better that she wouldn't be around large breed dogs. When I entered, someone came from the daycare area & retrieved her from me before I signed in or gave any info. I asked where I could leave her bag so she could be given her lunch. I was advised they don't do that. At that point, I asked for her back so I could try to feed her a little something more. I followed the staff member to the area she was in, & when I looked through the window there were SO MANY DOGS all barking. There was also one huge white dog who I'm guessing belongs to a staff member. However, a policy is a policy & I chose this place based on the 25 lb rule. They had to search for my baby. She was hiding underneath a chair, scared. This shocked me because at the time she was attending puppy classes, where she loved to run around with the other dogs. I felt like the worst for leaving her. I fed her what she'd eat & handed her back over. Teary eyed I expressed my concerns while the owner gave me a tour. I let her know this was my baby's first experience in a daycare, while trying to keep my tears from falling. It was hard to leave her there with all those dogs knowing she was scared. I asked about access to water since I couldn't leave hers behind. They told me there was a water bowl outside. Clearly my dog never found it because when I picked her up, she drank her water like she'd never had it before. The whole experience was not what I'd hoped for. I've now found a daycare that provides her lunch, & has a designated rest time & area that they put her in. Webcam also! Fireplug Inn is more of a 2 hour stay for an adult dog, that doesn't need extra attention. Not somewhere you'd drop your baby if you have to work or be out of town.

I was so pleased with my experience at Fireplug Inn! The staff was very friendly. I took my dog in today for a grooming, and the groomer came out and talked to me and made me feel really comfortable. It's a good price and they did a wonderful job grooming Winnie. I'll definitely be back!

I have been lucky enough to be able to leave my babies with Nancy and her wonderful staff for at lease 12 years. They have always taken excellent care of them. I would never think about taking my kids any where other than the Fireplug Inn. And the groomers do a fabulous job. Thank you Nancy and Staff for taking such good care of Nikki, Piddles and Skeeter. Nikki always thought the Fireplug was built only for him and he truly loved being there. ????????????????

Love this place!!! Amazing employees and service, I love the atmosphere and knowing my dog is always safe when I leave her there. My dog is always happy to go in and even meets new buddies to play with. I would recommend this to any dog owner!
