Pawderosa Ranch Schertz, Texas

My second time using Pawderosa was worth a review. Ashleigh K. groomed my pup. I asked for a Wheaten Terrier cut which is not common, and included a picture. Was provided an exact match! My pup doesn't like 'Pawdicures' but she did a great job anyway. I boarded for a busy trip and came back to a happy pup, made my kids and I so grateful. They take care of everything including medication. I got the Trailblazer Package which included a special treat and belly rubs before bed as well as photo updates. My preteen daughter got email updates via 'Bark Mail' and it helped ease the stress of being away from her companion.

I really appreciated the love and care for my Django. I loved the report card. The only issue that I had, was that Django lost weight while there. Im pretty sure that's common with some dogs given that they're not in their home environment. But overall.....GREAT SERVICE!!!!

I am beyond upset about my dogs stay. It was our first time leaving our dogs there and I had specific instructions and bought my dogs beds since they were staying in a suite and have very bad separation anxiety so wanted them to have their familiar beds and be comfortable. When I came to pick them up, the girl at the front showed us a video or our dogs and their beds aren’t in there room which made me curious but i didn’t say anything since maybe they picked them up before we checked them out. Once we got our dogs loaded in the truck I ask for the bed and they said we didn’t drop beds off with them but we did and it look them about 15minutes for them to find their beds and then proceeds to tell me that another dog had them the whole time and not mine. This OUTRAGES me that another dog got the benefit of having their warm familiar beds and mine didn’t. My dogs beds now smell like another dogs and have other dogs hair on them. I apologize to the girl that got the front end of my anger since she wasn’t there much but as a whole I’m very upset with this facility and will never bring my dogs back due to the. being so careless plus when I brought up how upset I was they didn’t seem to care at all!

My dog is always excited to arrive at Pawderosa and see the staff there. I have no doubt in my mind that he is well taken care of while I'm at work. They were quick to call me when there was an emergency and helped me locate an emergency vet. Pawderosa has been phenomenal and I plan to continue to bring my dog here for the foreseeable future.

Out two dogs never seem stressed when they come home like from other kennels. The staff is amazing and love the different meal / activity options. It’s pricey but def worth it.

Took great care of my dog for boarding he has the best time here they also send you pictures with cute captions and give you a report card for your pup at the end.

They were great our dog Hakuna did very well we will certainly bringing him back whenever we can thanks everyone for making he's stay great

My dogs love going to Pawderosa. They get boarded there and groomed as well.

My chihuahua has been going to Pawderosa for 6 years now always gets excited when he knows it is his daycare day. The staff genuinely cares about the dogs there. Very nice group of workers!

I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is perfectly balanced and I have yet to have yet to find anything I didn't like. From apps to pizzas to, what I consider, the best wings in town! Service is also top notch.

Took my 1year old golden in for a trim... I was specific about what I wanted trimmed and how much... and when I picked her up they trimmed every where and trimmed more then I wanted. I specifically asked for her feathers to be trimmed a little bit and they are completely gone. She doesn’t even smell clean. She also has marking all over her stomach. If I could give this zero stars I would’ve.

They are great with my crypto.

I dropped off my dog for day 1 of his evaluation today. When I got there it looked really clean and the woman working the intake was super friendly. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there. The five stars though is more about my experience leading up to dropping him off. The coordinator, Teresa, has been unbelievably helpful and responsive. A pet peeve of mine is when businesses go days without responding. Teresa is patient and seems to genuinely care. She also helped me set up an evaluation to drop off my dog for boarding school (they call it Lodge and Learn).

My dogs were well taken care of and the staff were SO NICE. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion

Shiner LOVES Pawderosa Ranch for doggie day care or lodging with his FURfriends! They have great monthly PAWties to attend; the staff are very friendly and just love on him all the time and lots of playtime Very reasonably priced packages. Wonderful groomers too. Shiner's been going to the Ranch for years. They provide a military discount.

My 16 year old Basenji loves this place. She is like a new dog every-time after their hypoallergenic bath! Very friendly staff.

Everyone is so sweet here. Definitely a good place to leave your little fur baby

Always a nice place for daycare

If you love your dog(s) do NOT bring them to Pawderosa. I know my dog isn’t perfect, but I’ve never in my life experienced dog/parent shaming like this. If it had been just us I may have assumed it was a single incident but while I was waiting to check out I witnessed another dog parent being berated in the lobby about her dog’s grooming - which she was there asking for help with... Before booking a reservation for boarding I told the staff that my dog does not always get along with others but would do best in a group of larger dogs, when I walk him in public he wears a muzzle for his safety and that of others. They promised this was no problem and he would be introduced to a peer group to make sure all the pups got along well - until we arrived for drop off and they nearly cancelled my reservation! When I picked him up they told me for the third time that they had “tried to reach me but I hadn’t called back” regarding an ear infection which began on his third day in their care, and which I spoke to a staff member about the first time they called and was told it was minor. I was told that he was kept separate the entire time, I would be paying an increased fee and even more if he ever returned. I rushed us out to my car and found his tail BLEEDING, bug bites all over his legs and his ear was hot red!! If you’ve bothered to read this whole review you’re either a staff member or a dog parent, if you’re the a dog parent please heed my advice and pick somewhere else!!

I called and booked a few day stay with grooming and boarding. Janie helped me, very sweet lady. My daughter was able to take care of my dog while I was out of town, Marshall Tucker Band concert, so I did not use their facility. I can say that they were so very helpful in receiving a fax of my pups shot records. Everything was super easy to schedule and I will use them in the future. I cancelled a couple of hours after scheduling the appointment. They were great, no threats of you will be charged $x for cancelling. I have family, including a paralyzed Disabled Vet in San Antonio., therefore I go there often. Here is Chouchou enjoying Dairy Queen ice cream on Burnett in Austin where they give dogs free ice cream with a small, appropriate milk bone on top. I will update after I use their services in the future.
