Very clean facility with helpful technicians. Busy center so expect a wait. Waiting room small if you have a big dog. Reasonable prices for initial evaluation.

Took my Chiquita here lastweek on 1/13/22 for her eye appointment and Dr. Fritz was great to meet and greet. He did an evaluation on my adopted dog from ACS and was very knowledgeable in informing me my dog diagnosis and even gave me a prescription for my dog blind right eye. Had I not taken her to him, I would not have known. But she is my 1st one eye seeing dog but will be taken care of regardless. She is a very happy adult dog. And as far as his staff goes, they too was awesome, they showed Chiquita a lot of love and she enjoyed every bit and moment of it. They loved her being in her pink jacket during the visit. I would highly recommend this doctor to any pet owner. ????

As a former employee of STVO, I can thankfully say that I have had the privilege to work with one of the best veterinary staffs in Texas. From my experience, they treat all pets as their own, including my own fur baby. The professionalism & dedication of the doctors down to the CSR’s there at STVO has truly raised the bar of expectations of all vet practices. They truly practice safety for all patients and owners before and during the appointments. The transparent and trusting culture of this company and its employees is the reason why I would highly recommend to any friend & family member.

We were so nervous about an issue our dog, Hero, was having. We were referred over to Dr. Greller and his team at STVO. This group was amazing! They treated our sweet girl like she was their own dog and were so comforting to us every step of the way. Couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Highly recommend!

My hound mix had a foreign body in his eye so my regular veterinary clinic consulted with STVO on treatment. Dr. Greller was able to see him the same day and fit us into his schedule. The practice was easy to find, had reserved parking for STVO patients, which made the process seamless and expedient. The ladies at the front desk were all friendly, helpful, and professional. It didn't take long to be seen. Despite my boy having a lot of anxiety from the situation, the assistant was easily able to handle him and hold him while the doctor examined his eyes (my dog is 75 lbs). Dr. Greller was thorough and very informative and quickly discovered the object could be removed without sedation or major procedure. We were ready to go, meds in hand, in no time! I'm so grateful to the staff and doctor for helping my baby boy avoid possible major/ longterm damage to his beautiful eyes! I highly recommend them and will absolutely come back if needed, hopefully not until my Ru is an old guy with cataracts ????.

We got a sweet puppy back in March of 2021 and little did we know he had a condition called Entropion that caused his eyelashes to rub his eyeball that caused chronic ulcers on his eyeballs. He has been in the care of Dr. Fritz and his team until today when he had his final surgery to correct the issue now that he was finally old enough to make the surgery effective. The team at STVO has been so loving, attentive, kind, conscientious of our bank account and so responsive to our Little Liam over his first year of life. Having had 3 preliminary procedures to keep him comfortable until his little head grew big enough to do the long term solution surgery; this awesome group of people took the very best care of our puppy. He loves going into their office and they make me feel so confident that his best interest is always at the heart of what they did for him. We are so grateful for Dr. Fritz and his wonderful staff and could not recommend them any higher. We are so grateful knowing that should Liam have any other issues with his eyes, we have built a wonderful relationship with a team that knows him, cares for him and knows how to care for him. We wish they could be his general veterinarian too! :)

I have never written a review about anything before, but our experience with Dr. Greller and the staff at STVO was so outstanding I wanted to share. Dr. Greller is the most compassionate and engaged doctor I have ever met, for either human or pet. He describes what he is seeing in a way that non-medical folks can understand, and is very clear about options, trade offs and potential costs. You can tell he really loves animals and cares for their owners’ peace of mind as well. Regular vets don’t see as many eye issues and can miss something - it’s so worth it to have a second opinion and feel they really know what they are looking at from the start. In our case it saved our dog’s life. If I could give 100 stars I would.

Dr. Greller is the best. He is extremely compassionate and patient when explaining the diagnosis and treatment. We recently saw him for recurrent ear infections that our dog was having and he very quickly made the diagnosis and got him on the appropriate medication‘s. We have been to other veterinarians for the same problem and have not had any success. Don’t bother going anywhere else if your furry friend needs medical attention Dr Greller is who you need to see.

As a veterinarian in the area, I have always been very pleased with any work ups done by STVO. If I am ever needing remote assistance/an opinion on a patient or if I have a patient in urgent need of work in or if one of my patients needs something more complicated, I can always count on STVO to do the best medicine in a timely manner. In fact, of all the specialists from any category in this area, they are one of the top.

I am a general practice veterinarian and have referred clients to Dr. Greller and the staff at STVO for the past 8 years from several different veterinary clinics I have worked with in the San Antonio area. Awesome place to take care of your animals

I recently rechecked one of my patients that had cataract surgery in March, 2021. First of all, the eye had healed beautifully and the dog was so happy! This was in stark contrast to the last few visits when she was blind and unhappy due to her sudden vision loss. I asked what was the most impactful event since her surgery. Her owner shared that the day she got home from STVO after her surgery, she took her dog into the house and then went back to the car. When she turned to go into the house, the dog was looking out the window at her and wagging her tail. The owner started crying telling me the story...tears of joy! Thanks Drs Greller and Fritz....and the rest of the staff of STVO! We appreciate you so much!!

I have had the honor of knowing Dr. Greller and his staff for 2 years now. Dr. Greller and his staff are BEYOND professional. STVO goes out of the way to make each pet owner and their pet feel like they are the ONLY patient in the office. STVO's office is very nice, very clean, and very well ran. STVO also reaches out into the community to volunteer! STVO is the the GO TO when it comes to anything eye related in animal health. I give Dr. Greller and his staff at STVO the HIGHEST of recommendations. IF you have a pet and they have ANY eye issues, STVO is the place to go.
