We were so lucky to find Jennifer and the staff at Planet Pet Spa when we moved to San Antonio. They are wonderful with her and they do a great job grooming her. Daisy loves going to be groomed and comes home looking beautiful.

This is my favorite place to take my dogs for grooming. First, the service is fast and efficient. They do a great job grooming my fur babies. They are great at communication!

All of my dogs (Boston terriers and a Frenchie) love coming here. I am bad about calling last minute for a bath, nail trims for my fur babies but they always find a way to fit my dogs in. I also have been a customer since they opened and the owner, JoAnn, and her staff are always professional and kind to me, my husband, and our dogs. Thank you so much ladies! ♥️

This is the LAST TIME I take my babies here! I have spent at least 2000 dollars in the past year that I have been going there. I had an incident with my oldest son Kodi, when I took him there someone did him very choppy and uneven I believe this was back in February. I spoke to the owner and he said from now on Joanne will only do him. And she has done amazing. A little short and rude but her work is good. Well two days ago I took all of my babies for a routine groom and cut and now they don’t even ask what I want done or specifics they are always just short and quick to take them from me. so for Kodi I said to trim and shape the top of his hair and they had a lot to work with. It’s so obvious they just took a buzzer right on top. And he has so many uneven patches!!! So CHOPPY AND MESSY. It was definitely not Joannes work. I could’ve done a better job. And then my youngest one Keni has the same thing!! UNEVEN PATCHES, SHAVED HEAD, CHOPPY! And he is a full shih tzu and they just shaved his head like nothing. Didn’t bother to scissor cut or shape it!!! So unacceptable!! And they were not matted!! Everything was just HORRIBLE. I will add pics.

They left my babies so ugly Ive been taking my oldest here for a year and they messed up before and I let it slide but this time they messed up so bad my babies look patchy and they did a lazy job with only clippers ! I’m so disappointed

Our pup Toby is 7months and isn’t the best at getting haircuts and they did an amazing job!!! Would highly recommend!

I moved to San Antonio about 6 months ago and have taken my dog to 3 different groomers before being satisfied! JoAnn did an amazing job with Tobi and i got exactly what I wanted. I’m incredibly pleased with how they cut my dog and treated him and i will definitely be coming back.

This was my second time getting my dog groomed. First time was back in Oct. And I loved the cut. This time around I wasn't to happy because there was a few off cuts. It was a shorter cut so I don't know why it was so uneven. But I like the groomers here they are pleasant. I will definitely return and speak to them about my concerns. After all it's hair and it does grow back. I rather my dog have off cuts than nicks.

My furbaby Bella, has been going to Planet Pet Spa for a while.now and everytime I drop her off I know she's in good hands. The location is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They take really good care of the specific needs of your pet to ensure to address any issues, i.e. itchy skin, etc. On top of yhe excellent customer service, they are also extremely affordable!!! Can't beat that ????

Omg I brought my Bella and Izzy here for the first time last Friday and I was amazed at the results! The staff was not only so kind and professional but very prompt I definitely found our new groomer! Thank you so much Planet Pet Spa!

All the review of this place are spot on. I called a little after 4 and wasn't able to get them on the phone, but was able to schedule an appointment after hours through the web service. I got an email confirmation, and another the day before the appointment. When I showed up, the check in process was extremely smooth and we went over the expected cuts for my schanuzer; they even brought out a darling senior schnauzer who modeled the cut. A prior review here alleged the staff was not wearing masks; this was not the case when I went, and there's a sign on the door requiring their use as well. There were other dogs being groomed when I got there, and they all looked incredibly calm and well cared for by the staff. I got a call within 3 hours to pick up my little guy, and his cut was exactly what I expected. Price is well within reason, but recommend you call if you have any questions. Overall great experience, and would very much recommend to any schnauzer owners looking for a new groomer.

I first took my client’s ShihTzu when he needed to be de-matted and needed a hair cut.... they were the only place willing to take the time to de-matte, and my client insisted that he not be cut too short, so this is where we went. They did such a great job that I have now referred 5+ friends/family/clients to them and every single one has called to tell me how happy they were with the grooming, friendly staff, and clean facility! I will continue to recommend Planet Pet Spa to everyone who has a dog!

This place is top notch! After a rough experience at a dog groomer business close to downtown, I used yelp to get quotes from different businesses for somewhere else to go. I can't tell you how happy I am that Planet Pet Spa was one of the places that reached out. Excellent communication, customer service, and the inside was extremely tasteful and clean. Piper had been sprayed by a skunk earlier that week, but I had gotten 95% of the stench out myself, but the tomato sauce left knots/mattes close to the skin, and I just couldn't get it myself... Not to mention, the kind lady that helped us out was AMAZING! She was giving tips and really listened when I rambled on about my dog's past issues with grooming. She was an absolute saint! Anyway, it was quite a drive for me, and it was definitely out of the way, but I know we will be back! Worth it!

Have taken my dog to Planet Pet Spa several times now. Very clean facility. Reasonably priced. Quick, efficient service. My dog looks and smells nice. Highly recommend!

I'm a little late to posting my review, I had taken my dog Max almost a week ago and I'm still very pleased with the grooming he received and happy that he still smells like the honey scented shampoo they used, considering he is a cuddler. I have found my new favorite groomers and don't plan on taking him anywhere else after we have had such a great experience. I highly recommend this shop to those not sure on where to go or looking for someplace new.

I am a first time customer at this grooming shop and let me tell you that I went to a few shops near by but this one stood out for me because of its cleanliness, professionalism, reasonable prices and fast service. I took my poodle for a cut and they really delivered! I could see that he was happy when I picked him up cause of the way the staff treated him. This store clearly follows all health and covid regulations, they pick up the pet from your car or you can go in the store one person at a time, obviously wearing a face mask. They sanitize all stations after each client leaves and also the payment machine. Staff is extra friendly and even speak Spanish if needed. People nowadays have to be more conscious in following all precautionary steps in order not get exposed by the covid virus so when other customers go and place nasty reviews on this website, it is shameful and rude cause they themselves don't even obey to these general health rules given by our mayor's or governors. And all the hard working people that have children obviously don't want to expose them to this horrific virus so the next best thing to do if you don't have someone to take care of the baby is take them with you and ensure they are safe. Overall I think this shop is one of the best. I would recommend it for sure!

My little puppy had a great haircut. He looks so handsome . I've been told that he behaved, which is hard to believe, so she must have worked her magic on him :). The best part was that he was in and out in about an hour. He didn't have to wait in the kennel for hours, which is the main reason I dread haircuts. We will definitely go back. I have to say very Happy with the grooming services for my Dog, He is happy, hair nails ears all look great, and he has a very nice smell, great job, great price...

We moved here from out of state and found planet pet spa a little over a year ago and they are amazing! Joanne is so amazing with our cocker spaniel and always cares for him as if he were her own, my pup has some skin issues randomly due to allergies and she always takes such great care of him!!! Their shop is very clean and I always know my pup is in great hands and I'm always extremely pleased with how great he looks and smells when he comes home!

Joann is always taken very good care of Darla and AJ! She makes them feel special!
