Converse Animal Hospital San Antonio, Texas

I took my puppy in for a wellness exam since he’s a new patient. My appointment was set for 4:15pm and that is when my fiancé arrived. He checked in and emailed all the needed paperwork to the staff. They told him to sit down and he waited 45 minutes in their line of sight, without being taken back or given any updates. Since he waited so long he ended up leaving and by the time he got home the office called that they were now ready to see our puppy. At that point it was almost an hour over his set appointment time. This was our first time going and were very disappointed. The reviews look great but if we set an appointment and wait almost an hour past the set time to be seen it is very unprofessional.

The staff at Converse Animal Hospital has consistently gone above and beyond to help both of my pets. I've been with them since they opened and have only good things to say.

I spent alot of money there for them to not even give me a diagnosis for my dog. They took my money but couldn't rely on them to call me back for a diagnosis

We have been going to Converse Animal Hospital for the past 25 years. They are like family. Their care is professional, thorough, and well communicated. I ask questions, they welcome my involvement in our pets care and we never feel rushed. I love the respect I receive and my fur babies enjoy going there. Thanks to Dr. Maryann Johansen for having the best care available for our dogs.

Worst experience ever! Please see why other people give 1 star here. You will know why. I just wasted my time and gas no doctor is available for my appointment today. No one says sorry. What a great place and people are :(

Ariana was such an amazing person the day I took my fur baby in. She reassured me that they would do everything in their power to help my baby. She made me feel at ease and comfortable since I was so nervous. The vets were so kind and understanding in the whole process. I felt so secure with them and they handle everything so professionally. We have been apart of the Converse Animal Hospital family for a couple years now! They never disappoint. I highly encourage anyone to take their fur babies here! ????????

I called 5 other vets before I spoke to a really kind and caring receptionist/vet tech frantically because my puppy had gotten bitten by ants and I was really worried. They were really compassionate and were able to squeeze me in that day within 2 hours. I will never forget that kind gesture. The vet reassured me fur baby was fine and I even received a call the next day to make sure our Skye was ok. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate vet.

I’ve been going here since my 5 year old yorkie was a puppy. They have always taken great care of him and prices are always reasonable. Just recently when my dog was very sick they squeezed him in their full schedule to get him feeling well again. I am forever grateful.

They couldn't fit me in when my doggies eye ruptured, honestly they were way booked, but they sent me somewhere with same day appointment.

Fixed my dog right up. Gave him medicine to knock out his ear infections caused by allergies then started him on allergy medicine to stop those infections and his incessant itching. Both worked right away and he is all better now. Thanks.

Converse Animal Hospital is fantastic! My Pit Bull had a seizure. I was very scared and called CAH and was calmed by Chris. Brought my baby in and they were amazing. So caring, understanding and empathetic. If you find yourself in need of a doctor for your baby, this is the office you want to take them to.

This place only tries to sell expensive medicines and does not care for animals at all. It's sloppiness and money greed is what lead for my dog not being diagnosed properly and continued to receive cough medicine when another doctor's x-rays showed an enlarged heart and tumors. Ultimately the time waisted at this doctor office with wrong diagnoses is what killed my dog and had her suffering since she would have been saved if we just had caught it earlier. I still can't believe we went to this office a few days before she had to be put down and they said her x-rays looked normal. Good doctors don't miss something like that. If you love your pet, don't go here.

Very respectful and professional and the up most compassionate staff. I faced a very difficult decision and they helped me through it all. I will definitely keep them as our furry family Vet for a very long time. Thank you all and God Bless you for everything.

Had to euthanize my cat today but Converse Animal Hospital was so sweet and provided fantastic care both my cat and I. They were there for us in our time of crisis and I am forever grateful.

This vetinary clinic goes out of they're way for you and your pet. They treat your pet like members of your family that they are. It's the best vetinary clinic for your pets

Great service and have always treated our animals great but they are extremely pricey
