Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Woodham answered all my questions, great experience for my and kitty both!

Easy to make an appointment. In and out in 1 1/2 hrs. Blood test, nails trimmed, ear cleaned and medicated. 1 cat and 1 dog.

Best vet I've ever been to. Prices are very reasonable and the doctors seem to really care about the animals health & comfort rather than trying to get more money out of you for unnecessary treatments, like some other vets do (looking at you Four Paws)

Was not allowed to be with my dog while the Vet examined my dog and the Vet never came to introduce his or herself. Was not happy. No plans to return

My very first visit was amazing. I had a 8:30 appt. I arrived and they got me in a patient room within 5 min. I was able to let my pet out of the carrier. The vet was great. She gave great care and we were done quickly with all the treatments and instructions.

Called in talked to a person that works there to get shots for my pup was told that I could call at 8 in the morning to get a walk in appointment and was quoted the price it would be, then this morning I did as told and was shot down by this mornings person that answered the phones!!! If they all can’t be on the same page for something so basic then how can you trust their word when some is really wrong????!!

Absolutely the best!! My dog had vestibular disease and the vet spent some quality time with me and my dog to get all the details of his illness!! She diagnosed him correctly and I'm so grateful to have found such great veterinarian.

My little bull terrier puppy had an accident friday night and broke his little leg. I called the vet I used for his puppy checkup and they wouldn't even give me the time of day, just that they were booked and to call med vet...I called rowlett veterinary clinic and was told that they were booked for Saturday, but to contact them in the morning and theyd get me in as a walk in. Upon arrival we were immediately taken to a room. They were able to xray him right away and splint his little leg in the same day as a walk in..Rowlett Veterinary Clinic is truly concerned about animals wellbeing and found a way to work him into their busy day. Dr's and staff are the best...

Original Review: April 2021 Getting an appointment is fairly easy, however, be prepared to be placed on hold for several minutes when calling in to schedule an appointment, check in for an appointment, or anything else you would call in for. Staff is friendly and pleasant. During this time they do not allow you to go in but are very detailed when the vet calls you during the appointment. I've found that if they do not provide you with all the information during the visit you will wait 5 days and up to 2 weeks or more, and generally you will only get an update when you call and ask for one. This has happened almost every time I've waited on results from consults or testing. After you call and ask for an update when they do call back they take lots of time to answer any and all questions I have. Love the appointment convenience and extended hours, but not sure I'll continue at this location with the lack and delay of follow through, so much so that at this time will not be transferring over my other animals.

They took great care of my 3 month old puppy that caught the very ugly parbovirus she was hospitalized for 3 days and cane out great . Trust me your dog is in great hands.

By far the most professional and well staffed Veterinarian Clinic I’ve ever visited. I can’t thank this group of pet Heroes enough. Our Scooter is here with us today because they listened to everything we had to say regarding our cat. Literally got us in on the same day. No wait and not once thought about turning us away. After visiting 2 Urgent Care facilities and even our current vet $2,000 later. No answers as to why our cat continued to vomit and unable to keep any food or water down. Just handed us probiotics and sent us home. Dr. Rachel Gelber took on the challenge to dig deeper and figure out why this was continuing to happen. And she wasn’t going to stop until she got to the bottom of it. She performed an Ultrasound and then decided to do an exploratory surgery after seeing a possible foreign object. She found that Scooters Pyloric valve had narrowed which was causing the blockage and leading to constant vomiting. Very rare in cats. Something she had never seen before. She performed surgery to correct the problem and now Scooter is happier than he’s ever been. Thank you all so much. What a true Blessing!!

The staff here really loves their animal patients. They make taking your pet to the vet quick and easy. All the staff there has treated me and my doggies with respect and kindness and I am glad to have them as my primary veteranarian!

Amazing staff and Dr Dona Elton thank you. You are amazing. I spent days searching for somewhere to bring in my daughters cat she was almost dead from infection everywhere I went wanted over $2k that I couldn’t do. I almost gave up but called one last place they made me an appointment same day and stayed late to do an emergency surgery all at half the price of almost every where else would definitely 100% recommend this vet clinic and thanks for being realistic with your prices not everyone can take out a small loan to save a pet.

The best and friendliest staff and service ANYWHERE. There were there on a Sunday when our 16yr old Fur Baby was passing. They were comforting and immediately available.

Appointment only now and can't help you injured pet if you show up without one. 30 years of business there. If it's a walk-in you need this is not your place. Take your fur baby somewhere else for care.

I moved to Rowlett about a year and a half ago. I had a very strong relationship with my veterinarian where I used to live. I asked her for a referral and she knew how important it was to me to get her referral to a new vet in Rowlett. It was a coincidence that she just happened to know some folks at Rowlett veterinary clinic and was eager to refer me. Well I'm happy to report that after a year and a half I am still with Rowlett veterinary clinic and I am pleased with their care availability and price.

From the bottom of my heart I really appreciate this clinic for being so nice and very professional and courteous. I have a sick puppy name Rage and initially I thought she was suffering from parvovirus. So I took her to Blue Pearl animal clinic in Mesquite and they recommend me to take her to this place. I called and made an appointment and they took care of my pup right away. Luckily she didn't have parvovirus but she was suffering from some other illness. This clinic prescribed the necessary medication for Rage and she is doing a lot better than she was yesterday and the day before. Seems she's recovering quite well. Thank you to the staff and to Dr Sampson for everything. God bless and thank you again so very much ????

I have been coming to RVC since Dr. Jung was there, probably early 90's. We I called yesterday and asked if I needed a exam to get a heartworm test since my dog was current on her shots, I was told no that a vet tech would be able to do it as long as I brought proof of vaccinations which I provided. Well after I took my dog in and took her back and did the test tech came back with my dog and asked if I wanted preventive which I replied yes. I was then told I would need a exam from the Dr. I told them that is not what I was told. Very disappointed in the communication with this Vet and feel I should have been told this prior to the blood draw. Why else would I get a test if not for getting the preventive. By the way my dog has never been off preventive.

My dogs were incredibly sick, one didn’t even want to drink water. Thankfully, as soon as we got home and they started their medicine they were both drinking and eating! ???? very grateful for the attention given by the staff. Wonderful service!

We left our previous vet as they didn't seem to like small dogs. At Rowlet Veterinary Clinic they were treated like royalty! It was easy to schedule an appointment. Everyone in the office had a big smile. Wait time was minimal. Highly recommend them.

They took amazing care of my (stressed out) cat and were super friendly and supportive from the moment I stepped in to the moment I walked out.

We went in with a very ill pup and they took time to run tests on him even though they were extremely busy.

They always are very attentive to details in care . The telephone lines are a hot mess as it is difficult to get through. I got put on hold for over 20 minutes and hung up and then called back and on hold again for 15 minutes. I called again and only put on hold for 5 minutes. They really need another way and THE Office should call you back. ... after so long.

This Veterinary practice is professional, caring and kind. They take care of your fur baby AND you. If you call and ask a question they will either tell you immediately or the vet or technician will call you back. All of my pets have been to these Vets, they are the best. Open on the holidays!
