I will never be able to say enough good things about Jenn and the team at concious dog training. I live in NC and have worked with a few other CPDT but nothing compares to the content and support that is offered in the puppies in the wild virtual course. If you are looking to really build a bond with your dog and focus on the foundations to make them successful you really will not find a better trainer/program! Jenn is incredibly uplifting and responsive and really cares about each individual dog and owner. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Jenn is incredibly helpful and responsive! I was hesitant to start with an online course, but looking back I wish I had started with it BEFORE I brought home my puppy! The 'Puppies in the Wild' online course has everything you need to make sure your puppy is well adjusted. There's an amazing facebook group too where you can ask questions and get real-time help. Love that it is self-paced but easy to follow, all resources are super helpful!

This course is probably the reason I didnt give up on my dog when things got hard. These trainers have always been there for everything. And have been so kind when I asked rambling, long winded, unfocused questions in my freak out moments. If I could go back in time, I would have joined immediately, before I even got my puppy home. We joined after things were already hard and we have a lot to undo. But, I really do think this training and private FB group have saved our dog and my sanity because being a part of this community has been everything. Having a reactive dog can feel so isolating, but I feel so much less alone because i can see the real life that everyone struggles sometimes, even if it's not the same struggles. And we can work through it in a scientifically based, positive way. Join before you think you need it and you will thank me later!

We've been working with Erin at Conscious Dog Training for our 2 Vizslas. We did the board and train, and are now working on the follow-up sessions. So far it's been such a positive experience! One of our pups is ~7 months and the other is ~3 years - so they have different training needs and personalities. Erin has been amazing and so patient working with what the pups need and helping teach us humans how we can apply the training to various situations. It's helped reinforce for us that training is a journey. And Conscious Dog Training has provided us so many valuable resources to continue to build on their training.

I’ve received so much information and support that has been incredibly helpful in learning to raise a puppy again after a decade since my last little one. Such a positive, uplifting, and generous group to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t say enough good things!

My dog had several lessens with Whitney and she was awesome! I knew our dog was smart, but to see how quickly she picked up on various things and that her not so desirable behaviors of mouthing and jumping quickly disappeared was just amazing. Their approach definitely works and they are extremely caring and great at what they do!

I found Conscious Dog Training through their Positive Puppy Training and Support page. While I am comfortable with training adult dogs through even quite challenging behaviours, I was concerned about getting things right with my first puppy. The modules worked through key aspects of puppy rearing in a clear and concise way and I felt much more confident with the arrival of my puppy.

After previously having a bad puppy experience and finding little support from trainers, I was thrilled to find CDT prior to bringing our new puppy home. I love their philosophies so much I signed up for their Puppies in the Wild course. Our new puppy is now 6 months old and such a joy. He goes everywhere with us and is such a well behaved dog. I truly owe it ALL to Jenn and Mallorie! Between the course and the tons of info in the free Facebook group, I am constantly referring to them to answers to any questions. And they always have THE BEST answers!

I have not yet had the pleasure of working with the folks at conscious dog training in real life, but I can say what they have provided FREE of charge has been tremendously helpful. I am actually in awe that a company would offer such a large volume of advise and feedback to the general public, without asking for any compensation in return. Their positive puppies training and support Facebook page is full of incredibly valuable information for the taking, with easy to follow units providing specific instruction. They even go out of their way to try and address specific questions posed by the public. I truly appreciate their efforts to provide support to humans and their furry family (especially during a pandemic), and am extremely thankful for the guidance they have provided (even though I am not currently a paying customer). I am also considering one on one training here, based on my online experiences, and feel certain that doing so would not disappoint.

I have taken so much information from this group and applied it with my new puppy. I can’t begin to tell you the compliments I have received and how much better my Belle is compared to our last dog who has passed. These girls give so much of their time to provide FREE training. We have hired a dog trainer locally for some problem situations we needed “extra” help with, but these girls will openly suggest that you seek help from trainers as well, while not everything can be covered in these free videos. Please be appreciative of the help they offer and if you’re not happy with what is available just quietly leave. I can’t say thank you enough for all that you do for us!!! ♥️

I’m thankful for this training group and all the free content and time they provide to dog lovers outside of their normal business operations. If you haven’t checked out their Positive Puppy Training group on Facebook- go!! Read through all the free guides and amazing content. We’ve successfully achieved default sits, default lays, hand shakes, targeting, and are working on better recall with name game and reactivity with my 38 week old puppy. Last Saturday, we had to go to the vet because the groomer discovered the start of a bad ear infection and the vet and her staff were extremely impressed with her behavior along with my other dog’s behavior (she is a two year old who was abused and many thought was a lost cause as far as behavior). The vet was amazed at how well they did and how quiet they were compared to previous visits and other dogs inside that day and other days. Felt like a HUGE win for both of them. We are working on reactivity, leash pulling, and recall. I’m sure with time and help from all of you they will succeed too. Thank you! PS: I did give my vet the name of this group to help other pet owners who are struggling or who are about to give up. This group provides hope for even dogs called “lost causes.” I know- my baby was one and is no longer thanks to the units in this group!!

Conscious Dog Training has been instrumental in raising our pup. I found the Facebook page first and was amazed with all of the resources available. We got paired with Audrey for in-home training and not only does our pup ADORE her but she helped us speak his language and reach our goals. Do not look anywhere else - this team is second to none.

They provide a great public service by helping new puppy owners raise wonderful pets and stay sane during the challenges of puppyhood!

CDT has been an incredibly invaluable tool in helping train my puppy as well as help to train myself and my family. :) I am certain we would not be where we're at if it hadn't been for Positive Puppies Training page, and the Puppies in the Wild training group. The coaching and support are immeasurable and the trainers provide their time and care in helping us train our puppies using proven R+ methods. Jenn and Mallorie are sooo encouraging, super responsive and very detailed in their instruction, and are always willing to patiently answer my unending questions. I highly recommend this training to everyone who has a new pup in their lives. I am so thankful that I've been able to build a solid, trusting and positive relationship with my puppy.

I spent hours and hours reading all of the FREE information these ladies provide! Back in December I brought home my first larger breed puppy and knew I didn’t know how to train her alone. I went through almost every single guide and I’m amazed at how l they all worked. I now have a very happy, very well trained bernedoodle because of this site!!! Don’t know what I would have done without this page!!!

A group that offers expert advice and a plethora of training materials/videos for free. I posted a question and received a detailed answer within 24hrs.

As a new puppy owner, I very much appreciate all of the info given on their FB page. I refer to it every morning to refresh my mind on what I want to emphasize that day with my dog. TY!

Conscious Dog Training is an amazing program! We are using it with our 13 week old puppy and it’s a wonderful positive program that is well organized and thoughtful. Our pup is picking up concepts like a champ and it’s a positive program. By focusing on management rather than reaction our pup is thriving.

I have found all the information that has been shared very helpful. I got my pup at 9weeks and she is definitely not perfect but a work in progress. We plan on using a lot of the training tips that have been shared by this amazing group of trainers.
