I had a very positive experience at Thrive. Dr. Miller took care of my Leo and he’s doing much better now. I appreciate that thrive was open on Sunday and were able to check my puppy. I truly appreciate such convenience and support since I was getting concerned about my pet baby being so lethargic. Thank you so much!!

The vet throughly explained everything and was very caring. This was my first time there and I’ll definitely return! I highly recommend Thrive to anyone looking for great pet care.

The tech and receptionist were AMAZING. Prompt, courteous, and extremely helpful. The vet herself was a little condescending, but that may just be her peppy attitude. She was still kind and helpful with my questions. Overall. the clinic was great. That being said, their pricing is OUTRAGEOUS for a "affordable vet care" clinic. Their "$38 nose-to-tail" exam? Tack on $109 (the actual package price, not including the $38 exam fee)+ MINIMUM to that. I know the people working there don't set the prices, so it's not their fault. And like I said, overall the clinic was awesome. They addressed my needs as a pet owner, and my cat's needs. They took his feelings and comfort into account when drawing blood and doing physical exams, and the people were super nice. But unfortunately I will not be returning simply because of the pricing. Dietz Family Pet Hospital (less than 10 miles away) is the same price (if not cheaper!) and is a better place to take your furry loved ones. If you're searching for a low-cost vet, this is NOT it. Go somewhere else.

Everyone I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and were very caring with my puppy. It was a very clean and organized clinic. I would recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary services.

I’ve been coming here since they diagnosed my dog with mange, she was receiving simperica monthly and they stated she would need it for the rest of her life, it’s also used to prevent heart worms, fleas and ticks. So I was scheduled at 10:00am to bring her in to be weighed so she can receive her medication. I received a phone call at 9am stating, she needs an X-ray to check for heart worms, also a office visit and bloodwork. She’s been on this medication for 6 months but ok it’s the day after Thanksgiving can I ask if she could have that done next month since we’re already on our way and we’re only prepared for the weigh in, and medication. She says absolutely not, becomes very rude and try’s to explain to me how their prescribing her a medication for something they don’t even know if she has ( heart worms) I ask so does she not need it for mange which is why she’s been on it for the last 6 months. Long story short. My dog was not giving the proper care, and I have since found a Veterinarian closer to my home. I will never return to thrive this was my second bad experience. First one was Pearland. (Carmen) The unprofessionalism of the front office staff is unbelievable. If you get a chance to speak to the Vet. It’s a totally different story, professional and sweet. Im still devastated they put my dogs health at risk, by not providing her with her medication. She took it on the same day every month except this month.

What an amazing Experience today . Dr Nettleton is amazing and wonderful. She’s like the dog whisperer. Bruizer is a big gentle giant and can Misunderstood and she wasn’t scared at all , he was putty in her hands by the end of the visit .

They showed a lot of concern, were very informative, and very professional with a lot of love for our Bella. It was a great experience and the facility was very clean. We will recommend Trhive to all of our friends and family and will continue to take Bella here for all of her veterinarian needs.

I like them for general check up and shots, anything more serious and I go to his primary vet. I don't think thrive actually really looks at your pet.

Today I went to the Thrive Affordable Vet Care located in Brazos Town Center for a wellness visit for my 17 year old kitty. Since it was our first visit there, Liz, the tech, double checked Miss Kitty’s history and logged my concerns. Dr. Nettleton then came in and did a thorough exam. Miss Kitty took to her right away. I was very pleased that she gave me a good assessment of Miss Kitty’s health, reviewed the lab work to be done, answered all of my questions and told me about any possible adverse affects of the vaccinations and to alert them right away if anything occurred. Dr. Nettleton is very knowledgeable and both an animal & people person! She & Liz were very good with Miss Kitty. The facility is very clean, neat and up-to-date.

Brought both of my pups to this Thrive location yesterday. One had a skin and joint issues and the vet was being very thorough with him, palpating all the different areas and checking the range of motion in his joints. The other dog desperately needed a nail trimming and is notorious for becoming extra aggressive when anyone goes near his nails. However; the vet held him while the vet technician worked on his nails and despite him putting up a big struggle and screaming his head off, they were able to do it. I was so impressed by how they handled the dogs and how they weren’t trying to rush through the visit. Definitely my favorite Thrive location!

I wish I could say I had a good review, my 1st visit 7/20/21 with Dr Nettleton was great but since I was transferring from west lake location (closed) I thought I'd try this location. 2nd visit on 8/10/21 my dog was due for her glucose testing, it's an all day appointment, so pick up my dog at about 4:45, tech handed her to me gave me her results which in past has been given to me by the vet (Dr. Kristina Rice) but i specifically ask the tech if I could get a refill when she is due since her insulin dosage increased, considering I couldn't speak with the vet, he said yes but when the time came for refill I was initially denied by the vet due to my dog needing another visit. I felt rush by the tech, realizing now they forgot to pack my dogs food once I got home. Next visit 10/12/21, same test, sign electronic consent forms shows 75 for today's visit, then i get an invoice that shows 142, disputed that since that's not what I sign and was not advised of any price increase. Received call from tech, not Dr Nettleton as I specifically requested due to past misinformation on behalf of technician, the nice tech gave me my dogs glucose results, her dosage increased and everything was fine. I don't have an issue dealing with the tech if they give correct and accurate info. So they corrected the invoice amount, my dog is picked up, then we get home and her insulin medication that she came in with they didn't put back in her bag, so now my diabetic dog is having to miss a dose since I don't have her meds in addition to taking time out of my day to pick up her med that should of been put back in her bag. So they are forgetting to put things back in her bag. The dog food was one thing, didn't make a big deal on that, but her insulin is a whole another issue, the very reason she went into the vet office. Because of the various issues, especially forgetting to put her meds in her bag. I will be taking her to another location, sad to say. I do not usually put reviews because I usually do not have to. Unfortunately not the case in this. Liz at the front was great thank you for being so nice.

Prices are great, but I can never get a reasonable appt when my pet is sick. It's always several days later which does not help. My pet is not sick enough to warrant an ER visit, but can never get in to see the vet for a minor illness.

Our first visit was really good with the vet. Our second visit has been a nightmare, left our dog with mouth cuts and bleeding like crazy all over the floor and walls. They just told us don't worry it will stop on its own, NOT TRUE. Had to take our dog to an emergency visit to a different vet to get the cuts properly treated medical procedures and antibotics. Our dog came in for nail trims only. I still can not understand why the tech dint stop when the dog first started bleeding and let him bit himself in mouth with a muzzle multiple times. The muzzle was soaking wet in blood. IM sorry but that was just 100% unprofessional, with zero care for the animal.

I entrusted my new pup to get her shots today. The staff were professional and friendly. I didn’t actually meet the veterinarian which I will mention this when I return. Overall, a good experience ????
