This is the worst vet I’ve ever experienced. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet last night and called this vet all day (15 times) to get a prescription filled with no response. Then I left work early to come ask why they haven’t been answering the phone and nobody was there. I will never visit again. I can’t believe they decided not to work today and didn’t communicate this to anyone. Today was so stressful and upsetting because I felt like I couldn’t get help for my cat. This place doesn’t deserve to continue business.

I’ve been to Timber Creek Animal Hospital 2 times. The first experience was good, but the second was horrible. First off, they had my appointment scheduled wrong. Second off, when the doctor came out to grab my puppy he held the kennel tilted so far that my puppy was completely against the door and could have busted out. When they finished to put him back in my car, the doctor held him in the kennel the same way and my puppy busted through the kennel door and fell on his head. One of the nurses ran outside and grabbed my dog. The doctor didn’t seem phased and blamed it on the kennel being too small. When he put the kennel back in my car, the doctor didn’t even put the door back on the kennel and just shoved my puppy back with no door. Also, the hospital is right by a highway. My puppy could have easily ran away and got hit by a car. Then the nurse came out to get my credit card with no receipt or invoice. I received my bill which seemed wayyy over priced from my original visit, which left me confused and frustrated. I had good intentions with this place until today, I will be finding a new vet that takes good care of my animal.

Today was my first time using them and I am so relieved I did. They genuinely seem to care for my Punkin! Nicest staff and gentle loving way they have my dog is impressive! Attentive and they don't try to "upsell" any unnecessary treatments. They gave me options with upfront pricing that is reasonable. I was a basketcase of emotions until I met with them. I felt 100% confident leaving my fur a year with them for treatment. They put my mind at ease and all is well. Can't say enough good things about these people. If you have an animal in your life these are people to entrust with that animals care!

I just discovered Timbercreek Animal Hospital in Rockwall, Texas today! I called first thing this morning and I got an appointment for 1:00 this same day! Today is our dogs 13th birthday and this little old man was having some issues and I am so very glad that I decided to give Timbercreek a try! They are simply amazing! Everyone there was so friendly! Both Amy and James who took Max in and brought him out again were very polite! Dr. Betancourt was very professional. She talked to me about his current issue and some other things that he has going on and things that we can do to help him grow old gracefully! I can't thank them all enough for being so polite and kind but most of all caring! I highly recommend Timbercreek Animal Hospital (and this comes from someone who had gone to a previous vet for over 20 years)!

Dr.Betancourt is so caring and patient (and bilingual)! You can tell she only wants what’s best for the pets. She was able to tend to not only my cats but also was able to see my chicken!! Yup, I’m a Backyard chicken mom! ???? Her staff is just as welcoming, even through this pandemic. Dr. B came out to personally discharge each of my pets, while still maintaining a safe distance! Calm, quiet, staffed by animal lovers, Scooter can tell! They never give up on your problem and have been our personal-able family veterinarians for 10 years. God bless Dr. Gentry and everyone there.

We love these people! They took such great care of our Pepper. Unfortunately, we had to put our fur baby down a few weeks ago. He staff was very professional and compassionate. We have a new puppy coming in a few weeks and he is ready for his first vet visit!

Sadly, we were forced to put our 13 yr old kitty to sleep when she suddenly started having seizures. We weren't able to get in to our regular vet but the gracious people at Timbercreek animal hospital fit us in and examined our old friend. When the devistating diagnosis came back, the doctor was very careful in her wording since our 9 yr old daughter was present. I really appreciated the love and sensitivity of the doctor, she was perfect and gave us all the time we needed to say our painful goodbyes to our beloved kitty. They were perfect in their care and patience with us at this difficult time and we are so grateful for them. Also the clinic was perfectly clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Amazing staff!! Not only do they remember you and your pet. They go out of their way to get you the best service possible. While they give me plenty of options they never try and sell me something I don’t need.

I never post negative reviews, but I am still, to this day, 9 years after the fact, upset about what Timbercreek Animal Hospital did. Gregg Veneklasen went on record publicly opposing the proposed Tech Veterinary School in Amarillo. Which is interesting because I was told by Timbercreek 9 years ago that Veeklasen was unavailable to tend to my dog because he was spread too thin. I was not able to get my poor Maggie, a sweet and innocent Beagle, attended to by any other area vets at the time because there were not enough vets around. So I held my Maggie in my arms as she died. I will never forget the sound of my wife's heart breaking when I told her Maggie was going to die. I buried her beneath her favorite tree in the back yard. So, Gregg Veneklasen can oppose the vet school all he wants. I'll still will never step foot at Timbercreek Animal Hospital ever again.

Danny is a great Vet and Nikki is a great RVT. Their staff has a good synergy and interacts well with each other and their patients (animals). They are not the cheapest vet practice in town, but I would say they're the best for small animals.

We have always had great experiences with this vet. The staff is knowledgeable and listens and are not pushy.

My wife and I are happy with our first Rockwall Veterinarian, but we feel blessed to have replaced them with Dan Gentry. He mentioned in our first visit that there was a rare chance our dog had a rare condition, but we needed to do a few 'rule out diagnoses' before performing surgery. Patiently and methodically, and with the compassionate care we most wanted for Zoe, Dr. Gentry and his staff helped us through a small handful of visits before our dog went under the knife. Sure enough, the rare condition hit us, but we caught it and fixed it in a way that made us feel wonderful about the whole process. I am a huge advocate of Timbercreek Animal Hospital, and my wife and I believe he has a great future in Rockwall.
