Absolutely love the staff and the quality grooming they do. My dogs always look great when they leave.

Worst ever...don't go, they hurt my Dog. If he could only talk to tell me what they did. It took a week for his fear to subside with the help of advice from our vet staff. They don't deserve one star. This was in October. I posted in Next door and I was not surprised at the bad reviews.

Groomers are excellent and really care about the dogs. Love that they don't lock them up in kennels.

Today my husband took our two Shih Tzu's in for bathes. John stated that we did not have an appointment. We made the appointment two weeks ago when the pups were there for a full groom. The time before that when we took the pups over the lady that was supposed to groom them called in sick...however no one bothered to call us to let us know that...so we drove over there unnecessarily. When an appointment actually works out...they do nice work...BUT...we need reliable people to take care of our pups. Also...John quoted us ...based on the pups weight...$45 each for a full groom...then we were told that it would be $55 each... To say they have poor management is an under statement... Time to find a professional, reliable groomer.

We took our girls for a nail trim today. I was very happy with the trim. They got us in and out quickly. I will definitely be back!

I took my dog here February 18, 2020. When we picked him up, the groomers were very upset with him, said he misbehaved and was not cooperating. His haircut was not what we asked for. When we went home Cooper was not acting like himself. He was very sad and lethargic, he had trouble sitting down. He would not come out of his kennel. His back legs would not stop shaking and he had cuts under his ears and tail. The worst cut he had was under his arm. It looked like a puncture wound. It became infected shortly after. We took him to the vet, he prescribed antibiotics and gave him pain medication. We will not be taking him back here. I believe they were too rough with him. If he is not cooperating call me, don't force him.

Wish I could give them negative stars. My dog has a huge cut behind his ear and they didn’t notify us. Scheduling is a nightmare and can tell they are not “dog” people. When we picked him up they complained about his behavior even though they said he wasn’t aggressive. Also told us he was not welcome back after charging us $80. They didn’t even do the deshedding which was the reason we scheduled his appointment. Highly do not recommend.

Great prices and great people! They do a wonderful job and care about your pet!

John has been grooming our current and previous dog and IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER. We found Paw Spa after our elderly Lhasa Apso was traumatized at other grooming shops in NB. Our Havenese, Paco is always ecstatic to see John and visit Paw Spa and comes back looking and feeling great!.

I had been taking my dog to the Paw Spa for over a year and was happy with them up until yesterday when I went to pick her up and John informed me he could not do her anymore because she just doesn’t keep still and she takes up too much of his time. Now when I picked her up last month he said she did good, no problems and the month before, he said no problems. Now all of a sudden there are all these problems. He informed me that she had peed on herself after her bath but she had been there 5 1/2 hrs., no wonder she peed. Her appointment was at 11:00 and i finally could pick her up at 4:30. He informed me he had been running behind since he was training someone and he was stressed. The place hasn’t been the same since Micala left. Seems to me it is all about quantity rather than quality. He has really disappointed me because I really liked him and I had recommended him to several people.

I absolutely loved this place and my dogs looked so cute after grooming. He does a fabulous job. The only problem is that he is two months out and this week when my dogs were suppose to go I called him to reschedule one dog because she was having surgery, glad I called because he didn’t even have me down in his books. I booked this appointment back in November and really needed this appointment for my dogs. He said that he has an opening in March and that’s all he could do beside put me in the waiting list. It sounds like he needs to hire more staff. Disappointed it has gotten so busy because he really does a awesome job. Time to look for a new groomer.

Great job. Super fast with nail trim and grind for one pup, and a great hair cut for a second pup. Very happy with Makayla. We will continue bringing our girls here for grooming.

I would give them zero stars if i could- they ruined my westie’s cut and left scars on his face- have pictures to prove it. They could have called me instead shaved my dogs face and left uneven cuts. I have had my westie 10 years (and three other dogs) and this is this first time i have had a horrible experience. They said he was being aggressive- they should have called to inform me instead of ruining his coat. NEVER AGAIN! Will pay more to get a professional cut. Use them at your own risk.

The staff is awesome. I took my dog in for a nail trim and she is always nervous about having her feet touched. They had no problems with her, my dog was relaxed with them and it was a positive experience for all of us! I asked for advice on natural shampoos and they kindly offered suggestions to me on what to look for. So helpful and caring. I highly recommend The Paw Spa!

They took great care of Koda, and after 4 or so hours of hanging out she still didn’t wanna leave.

I was really looking forward to taking my dog to this business because the reviews were so good BUT my experience was entirely different. After waiting at the desk for over 15min a female came out and asked if I rang the bell, no because there's a camera pointed at me that I figured worked. While I was waiting I heard her shouting at a dog multiple times, that's when I almost left but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and stuck around. She tried to talk me out of getting my dog a cut and said that he seemed aggressive although when John came out (much better people person, not one sliver as rude and unbecoming as his coworker) he didn't seem to feel the same way. My dog was ears down nose up the whole time ready for pets. Then she couldn't find the rabies certificate that my vet sent in, once she found it she told me she had responded to the email that she needed something else done. I was not made aware of any discrepancies in paperwork even though I had made the apt 3 weeks prior and the certificate was sent 2 weeks prior. If I hear she no longer works there I would consider going back but as of now, I can't wait to become a loyal costumer and leave a good review at the next place I find

Best dog grooming around! The staff here takes pride in what they do and will treat your pup as their own. They were voted best in new braunfels for a reason.

We love John. We bring our husky Jake there and would not take him anywhere else. He and Makayla are awesome people and do such an amazing job even when Jake is looking pretty rough. Best place hands down.

We have been taking our goldendoodle to The Paw Spa for about a year now. They are friendly, attentive, and our dog loves them! We’ve never had a reason to complain, and the one time I wanted them to go over part of her cut again, they were gracious and accommodating. Photo is before and after grooming. She smelled amazing!
