1.5 late to get consult done. Took good care of our dogs.

They squeezed us in on a busy day, as we were in between travels. Very friendly and patient staff.

Dawson (I’m not going to call her a doctor) is the worst excuse of a veterinarian that I have experienced. Scam artist is more of the title. We spent close to $1500 on visits and treatments for our cat. We kept telling this person that we believe that our cat had feline asthma and that we wanted an inhaler for the cat. This person that calls herself doctor just couldn’t figure things out and wouldn’t listen to our request for treatment. So this person finally realizing that she was clearly out of her depth recommends a feline specialist in San Antonio. Well guess what???? For $150 this Doctor in San Antonio said that it was feline asthma and prescribed an inhaler!!! I know that there are some reliable veterinarians in town that have a wait list to get in. I wish we had waited to see one of them instead of rushing to get in to a place with no wait… I’d say you get what you pay for, but not in this case. Save your pet, your time and your money and go anywhere else. AVOID CHISHOLM TRAIL VETERINARY CLINIC at all cost! Also I gave them two stars only because negative stars wasn’t an option.

I called this morning and they graciously said for me to bring in my furbaby. Our current Vet wouldn't see her and they would. The doctor called me and explained what was going on. She gave me options and with no pressure. Thank you all so much.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Dawson & the Chisholm Trail vets! Our dogs have always received top quality health care from this group of veterinarians. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our dogs. Today our eldest "child" Sir Winston saw Dr. Dawson due to severe nausea. She fixed him right up! When your furbabies get sick, you feel helpless. I love this place! Everyone is so kind sweet and patient with my dogs Sam and Aspen. Aspen just got spayed and they did an amazing job! She recovered quickly and hasn’t had any issues. On top of it they do happy visits for Aspen since she is scared of the vet and has high anxiety. Dr. Dawson and Vet Tech Kristina take good care of my girl being patient and loving even when she screams just coming in the door. We have done three happy visits and the last one she was able to walk in without a peep. Thank you sooo much for all that you do! You have an amazing team here!

We are so so happy we chose this as our vet, they are wonderful. They take such amazing care of our puppy and have spent so much time with us new parents answering questions. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to love and care for your fur babies, big or little. Dr. Green-Ivy has been so amazing to work with, we are so pleased. Will definitely be taking all future fur babies here as well.

I’m a visitor to new Braunfels but needed a vet to update my service dogs vaccinations so he could be in boarding while I go to schlitterbahn. They got me in the same day and went above and beyond to take care of both of us!!! Top notch veterinarian clinic!!

Dr Dawson is amazing and all the staff are professional, respectful, and they care!!! They know my puppy by name. And they treat her like she was their own. My pittbull has had lots of issues and I bring her in almost monthly. And this vet is affordable. I recommend them to everyone who has pets.

Delightful, knowing staff. Dr. Newman told us all the options & prices on each option. Skilled & solved our dog's ear hemotoma for a very reasonable price. These people are great at what they do & also watch out for their patients in a tough time.

If one could fall in love with a Veterinary practice, this is THE ONE! EVERYONE from the minute you walk in to talking to the Doc to the follow up care is BEYOND the Customer Service of Marriott.

Wow! Just had our first visit here and we are sold. I had an appointment for 2pm, walked in and was immediately taken to a room. The tech walked in soon after and asked some questions and took my dog back for a heartworm test. I was in and out in about 30 minutes - and that includes the time it took to speak with the veterinarian. Everyone was pleasant and seemed happy to be there!! Very rare for a vet’s office. We have found ourselves a new vet!

Tech was inpatient with me and made me more nervous as she was asking questions about my pet. When it came to the discussion of pricing, tech was frustrated with my questions. I did not feel comfortable and will not be returning.

I needed emergency service for my German Shorthair on a Saturday. Chisholm had me go to their office immediately and did a great job caring for my buddy when another vet I have used for years would not open. I highly recommended Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic for your pets.

My dog Lily was suffering from a bad ear infection. We had trouble getting her in to our own vet! We called Chisholm trail and they got us in ASAP!!! The staff was kind, compassionate and professional! It was a Monday and they were busy and short staffed that day! I could not believe the great quality of service we received! I am so grateful to this vet clinic for helping us so quickly ! The prices were a little higher than we are use to, but you cannot put a price on your fur-babies!!! All I can say is GOD BLESS YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! You all are wonderful! ♥️

I’m so appreciative of Dr. Green-Ivy. She took the time to really take care of my cat and spent time with me answering aallll my questions with patience and great information.

Previously, I had given this vet 5 stars. That was before multiple changes in ownership and a corporate buyout. I would NEVER take our pets here again. We have moved to NB Vet Clinic and are SO much happier. This USED to be a great vet, but now it is an impersonal, overpriced, poor service, rude, corporate owned nightmare. If you love your pets, they deserve better.

Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic helped my pet tremendously. My pet had some serious health issues and they had gone unaddressed to the full extent in my knowledge from another clinic. I received full disclosure of my pet needs and issues to get the treatment and care ❤ to help my pet get well.

It took a while to find a vet that would take care of my granddaughter's duck. The staff at this facility was very kind and professional and the young doctor was really patient with us and our duck :). We will definitely come back to Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic again.

I live in Houston, but was visiting family in New Braunfels with my Golden Retriever pup when her eyes and nose swelled up really badly. I called Chisholm Trail on a Saturday morning, and they squeezed in time to see her even though they were fully booked. They got her the steroids and shots she needed to get her feeling better, and they were so nice and good to both me and my dog! Would definitely go back if I ever need a vet in New Braunfels again!

Dr. Dawson has treated our cat for everything from routine vaccinations to emergency (life-saving) needs and we could not be more pleased with the doctor or the technicians! Our cat is an incredibly difficult, nearly impossible to treat, patient and they are amazing with him. They do their very best to make him as comfortable as he will allow and treat him kindly and efficiently. The vet and the technicians are always ready to answer any questions I have and explain all of the options fully. I’m so thankful for them and recommend then entirely!

Goodness! All staff members were very friendly and gracious. Dr. Dawson was a breath of fresh air. She’s delightful!

I moved to New Braunfels in July after living somewhere else for 15 years and seeing the same veterinarian for those 15 years. My real estate agent recommended Chisholm Trail veterinary clinic because it was near to my house and she had heard good reviews of the clinic. My first visit was different because of Covid and restrictions on being with my dog during the exam. But I am glad to say after subsequent visits I really like how professional, thorough and efficient the doctors and the staff are. Thank you.

Very professional. Very attentive. My only comment is that they must be used to either having to shout over the noise of barking dogs or speaking to a lot of elderly people who are hard of hearing because nearly everybody who came in the room for visits with my cat and dog are very loud. My hearing is fine. No need to increase your volume.
