Fondren 5 Star Pet Resort Missouri City, Texas

The obedience trainer we worked with is very knowledgeable. She gave us great free back and the class was small enough that she was able to give each family the attention needed. I would definitely recommend this 5 Star. The staff is super friendly and answered all my questions and addresses my concerns

Great staff! Excellent care for my kitty!

I have used this kennel for over 15 years, with the previous/original owner. Most of the staff is the same since new ownership, but for some reason he was very different when I got him home, many of his daily routines were absent, alarmingly so, for 5 days. It's almost like he fell or otherwise injured himself . Also, I provide his food snd...none of the treats I sent with him were given to him...got them all back. Don't understand that at all. Had instructions on the bag to give one after each potty break. If they don't do that service anymore, it would have been best to tell me.

The staff is friendly, they are caring and gentle with our pets. They always take care of my pets. they understand that sometimes a pet causes delays on arrival, and when a trip is cut short they understand especially now in times of COVID Very clean facilities

Unfortunately, not up to par with previous ownership. They eliminated Sunday pick up without notifying me. They told me they had no on-site management so could not support Sundays. Really??!! No onsite management?! I was supposed have food in individual packages per serving or I would be charged. They did give me a pass "this" time. They have done a very poor job notifying customers of "new" rules. While I was waiting to pick up my dog (4 days early - I found an alternative spot that provides Sunday pickup) a woman was dropping of her dogs who per the vet were up to date on shots - but this kennel requires 2 bordatella shots. In the past, they would just give your dog the shot on-premise. They eliminated this function so the poor lady was left with no boarding for her dogs and she was leaving town for the holiday. I will not be returning.

I have been bringing my kitty to Fondren 5 Star Pet Resort for many years and they have always provided consistent, safe, loving care for her. She has always come back healthy and happy, and I appreciate that they remember her and treat us personally. I also like that the cat room is quiet, completely separate from the dog areas, and it is fully visible so you can see exactly where your pet stays, rather than being somewhere you can't see in the back of the facility. Hoping for continued quality with the new ownership.

My family has boarded our dogs here for YEARS. So it was only fitting that when I got my own dog I boarded her here. We love Fondren! They are always professional & I know that my dog is safe in their hands. They have exceptional grooming packages as well. My dog always comes home smelling good, nails ground & with a cute bandana! If you’re looking for great boarding in sugar land or Houston, you’ve found it!

My new son is quite a handful. We started to bring him here because they accepted him. He had been getting groomed for almost 6 months with Jerrell, the dog whisperer. The whole staff is caring and accepting of ALL doggie and go out of their way to accommodate even difficult Chow Chows. I appreciate them tremendously.

My dogs love boarding at FFS - and I know that they will be well cared for.

I have been using Fondren 5 Star for over 10 years, have boarded 4 dogs here and have always been very happy with how are babies were treated and taken care of. We boarded our dog this last July for about 5 days and when we returned we went to pick her up and bring her home. First noticed open sores on her elbows that were oozing and even though she had all her necessary shots for boarding she came home with kennel cough and it took a week to subside. I was so upset and disappointed with the lack of care she seemed to receive. It is almost like a whole different group of people are running the show, did management change or something?

I brought my lab puppy Lucy in to spend 1 night and she was very happy when I picked her up! I could tell she had a good time especially in doggie day care! Lucy told me she loved it. I'm definitely bringing Lucy back the next time we need to board her.

Our dogs just love Fondren 5 Star. We’ve been taking our pets there for anouut20 years.

I know my dogs will be happy & well cared for when I take them to Fondren 5 Star. The staff are helpful and will go the extra mile. I've been taking my dog to Doggy Daycare occasionally and she loves it. She comes home happy and tired from playing with the other dogs.

We’ve found our new dog groomer! They came highly recommended on the Neighbor app and my neighbors definitely steered us in the right direction! It happens that they also carry our dogs’ food, are nearby, and can handle any of our daycare or boarding needs, when they come up. They’re easy to reach and easy to find.

We have been coming to Fondren 5 Star since 2007 - great place and they really care about their customers and their four legged family members. We have dogs and this place has plenty of room for them to run and play in.

My dogs love it at Fondren 5 Star. The younger dog goes straight in and never looks back at me to say good bye :.(

We feel very comfortable in letting our baby stay here while we are absent for days or even weeks as we know she is receiving the best of care and she is always well taken care of.

I took my dog who is a Doberman/Rottweiler mix for basic obedience training last year. I was very happy with the experience. Since September she has attended Doggie Day Care - usually twice a week - for half a day. The staff are very friendly and caring. I very much trust them.

They take good care of Symba, I have no complaints or worries.

Took my dog for a four day stay while we were out of town. Provide the facility with pain medication to provide to him since he has been having hip issues. We were advised they didn't give him the pain medication during his stay because he was doing well. Luckily, we put 1/2 the pain tablets in his food bags just in case. Our dog came back clearly lumping and unable to put weight on his left hind leg; and with fleas. Now we are having to spend additional cost at the vet for flea treatment and additional imaging. Our normal place of boarding was booked for the holiday and unfortunately we had to take to this "five star pet resort". I would think twice about bring your love one to this facility.

Took my 2 year old chow chow to Fondren 5 star pet resort for a grooming. I left very happy with the hair cut. The people there were very friendly as well and the price was worth it. I will be returning again

We have been using boarding and day care services for years for 3 generations of dogs and have been very pleased with the care. The Staff has been responsive and professional to all inquiries and our pets have always been excited to go there. The resort is now under new management as the original owner has retired and we hope to receive the same quality care.

Use Fondren 5 Star for groomer who does a great job w small dogs! Brought a special shampoo and bottle was 2/3 full at arrival. On return the bottle was only about 1/3 full. It had been placed inside the bag with the top open and loosely connected. As a result 1/3 of the shampoo leaked out into the reusable carrier bag. Very disappointed because we have had a hard time finding this shampoo. And now likely need to purchase another bag as well.

My Fur baby loves going to Fondren 5 Star, He's been going for about 5 years now. The Staff is so friendly, and they Love Lamarr...yep that's my fur baby's name...
