Shannon Animal Hospital Midland, Texas

Used yhis clinic for years and all my animals not anymore.Called this a.m and was treated very poorly by the lady at the front desk. Was trying to get my son's animal taking care of and was told I still owe 200. I stated I can pay that now I didn't know I stilled owed. She said I would have to look else where they will not be taking her in.. your poor billing dept messed up and didn't send the bill and now I'm being punished because of it. Since Shannon passed that place has never been the same. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU ARE WARNED..

Dr Johnson and her staff are truly amazing. They took great care of my fur baby, Hulk. Everyone was nice and greeted us with warm smiles. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. Thank you Isabel and Vanessa, it was so nice speaking with you guys. You both were very informative, and so patient during our visit. Dr lynn Johnson, I send a special thank you. As soon as I booked my appointment you saw Hulk immediately. The appointment was affordable, fast and accurate. I was educated about what was going on with him and given a solution right away. I saw not only who you are as a Dr that takes care of her patients, but also as a person with the biggest heart. It was a pleasure doing business here at Shannon Animal Hospital. I recommend this place to everyone.

They were very affordable before the former owners retired and sold the business. Today I took my two dogs in for their yearly vaccinations and was charged a $72 office visit fee for each dog, making their shots a $400 visit. That is obscene. This is double what they were last year. What made the expense extra offensive is that the appointment took an hour and a half. I paid an extra $144 to sit in my car for an hour and a half for shots that take 10 min. With prices like this, I won’t be the only person they are losing as a customer.

I’m really sad to learn that they were bought out by a corporate company. Their customer service has gone down and their prices have gone up at least triple. Every time I call I’m placed on hold and I have to call back until someone finally doesn’t put me on hold. They change policies and procedures and don’t tell you about them so you are left scrambling with your pet. If you have a lot of dogs or a rescue/foster situation, this is not the vet for you. They only want customers that have sickly dogs do that they can treat and medicate them for the rest of their lives. Same thing happening in other health care fields. I will find a new vet, it’s sad too, I’ve been there 10 years or more with my pets.

Shannon animal clinic used to be the best small animal clinic in midland, tx. Since corporate has bought them out, their prices have tripled, and their office manager is rude, arrogant and yells at customers. Recently I needed to pick up a rx. They were doing curbside. I called them and they put me on on hold for 10 minutes. I walked in to get my rx. The office manager started shouting at me to get out of the clinic. I told her I just wanted to puck up a rx. She screamed at me to go outside and then waited 30 minutes before she sent someone out with my meds. There weren't any other customers waiting at the time the office manager preformed her retaliation. She is not good at customer service nor an asset to this practice

Had a 315pm appointment, finally left at 435 after not being seen, kept getting told I was next even though there were 5 ppl that got there at least 20min after me if not longer who were all seen before me.

I have always trusted my babies with Dr Brown and Dr Atkins!! They are the best!!

My own vet was out of town and could not help me with our 4 month old kitten who was bleeding and couldn’t walk. I went into 4 other vets and called about 8 in town all who would not take a new pet. The staff up front and Dr. Adkins were all so incredibly helpful and caring. They took us in and broke the policy of no new clients. They gently handled my injured kitten and loved on her throughout the imaging and shots.Thankfully her injuries were not life threatening as I had thought, but she has a broken pelvis and a road of recovery ahead of her. I will be happy to be taking this road of recovery with Shannon Animal Hospital and recommend them to everyone!!

Best place in Midland to take your pets! From the girls at the desk to the veterinarians, they are all wonderful! ❤

Friendly and quick. Last visit was to get my pup started on her shots and they had her in and out just like that.

We have been using Shannon Animal Hospital for 30 years and have never been more pleased or inclined to use another vet. They really care about your fur babies!

My adopted dog was already a patient at Shannon but I was denied an appointment because they cannot take on new accounts. What? Not taking on new accounts I understand but she is already an existing patient just changing who is paying the bill makes no sense to me. Losing a patient for an illogical reason is well....illogical. Fortunately, she has been welcomed at another practice that is closer to the house anyway. #winning

The only vets I trust!

We have been bringing our fur babies here since we moved to Midland in 2000. Dr Atkins and Dr Brown are the best. Sue and the other ladies are always kind and helpful.

I have used Greg and Morgan since 1995. I can honestly say that the entire staff is the best I have ever met. They have shared some of my happy triumphs and have been there to help me gently say goodbye to my babies. They treat everyone with such love and respect. I will never be able to repay them for their excellent care but I truly consider them all my family!

Best veterinary clinic in Midland by miles. Fantastic care and attention to detail. They frequently go above and beyond, such as trimming nails during routine checkups. Once you've established your pets with them, they'll bend over backwards to get them in quickly when needed and to make sure that you know when they need to come in for regular appointments.

This place is awesome...they took my fur baby in when he was so sick ...he has made a 360 degree turn around in almost 2 years... thank you to all the doctors at shannon clinic vet ...

Staff is very compassionate and helpful. Dr. Adkins has been great with my dog, very easy to talk to and readily answers questions.

The people here are absolutely amazing. We have taken our furry family members here for years. They were so caring when our chocolate lab passed and just as amazing when we welcomed our adopted yellow lab to the family. They bend over backwards to take care everything.
