We left our dog for 2 weeks in this hospital. Hospital promised to give us regular updates which it never did. We always had to chase them. Also we gave snacks for our dog which they never gave to our dog. When we asked why, they made lame excuses that box was not opening. They could have given us a call so that we could have made alternate arrangements or paid them extra to feed him snacks which he was used to. Plus dog lost weight while being in this place. I am not even sure they fed him properly. Thank god dog was safe but not using service again from this place. Also 1 of the dog food bowl were not eveb returned to us.

I was a new patient, but Eldorado Animal Hospital was still able to see my cat the day after I called to inquire about some symptoms he was showing. Everyone was kind and helpful, and it’s great that they have weekend hours. This will be my regular vet from now on!

The service and staff were both excellent. They took fantastic care of my dog and let me know exactly what they were doing. My only complaint is that is was pricey but then again it was worth it!

They really helped my 16 year old cat. She is so much better after her visit.

We have been patients of Eldorado Animal Hospital for many years. We have always had good experiences. Dr. Thompson is a wonderful vet and person. We will miss him so much when he retires.

Every staff member was polite and kind. My dog has anxiety issues and he did start barking at one of the other dogs on their way out, but the staff did not give any dirty looks like I usually get in public. The vet was knowledgeable and gave reasonable recommendations. Overall a pleasant experience!

Dr. Thompson is by far the best. He is compassionate and makes sure to always follow up to see how my fur baby is doing after our visits. The office staff is just as amazing. Would definitely recommend!

My dog was having neck issues, and my primary vet clinic was unable to get her in until Wednesday and advised to get her in somewhere else. I happened to find this Vet clinic, called and they took her right in, observed her, treated her issue and had my pupper back to me same day. They were VERY nice, responsive and seemed to really care about my animal, which is a BIG plus for me. I highly recommend this place and will be using them as my primary clinic moving forward. Thank you to the staff/doctor that took the time to get us in and help. I appreciate it!

Absolutely worst place to take your pet. Try and call to talk to somebody about it and see what kind of run around they give you.

We have been using Eldorado Animal Hospital for years and always feel like we are treated like Royalty! We've been through everything from a diabetic dog to a heartworm positive pup. They've helped us through everything and have always treated us as if we were "Special". I wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else.

I'm unsure what is going on with the clinic right now. When we first started going here, they were great. However, these last few months have been one annoyance after another. First, their reminder system is *awful*. I purchase Heartgard a year at a time, which I did this January when my dogs got their yearly exams. After 4 emails and 1 text in July telling me I needed to buy more heartworm medicine, I contacted them and told them that we had enough. I was assured that this would be fixed in the system right away. Second, we are in the final stages of heartworm treatment on a girl we adopted last year. After our final treatment in April and last checkup in May, they scheduled us in advance for a heartworm test recheck for a Monday in July. On the Friday before the checkup, I got an email asking me to confirm Monday's appointment, which I did. It took me to a page thanking me for my confirmation. Then Saturday at 1:30pm I received a text saying I needed to confirm the appointment by 4pm if I wanted to keep my appointment time. We were at the pool, but I thankfully checked my phone in time to respond *again*. Monday appointment time comes around, and we show up for our heartworm test, only to be shown a quote for a physical exam, fecal, Bord vaccine, *and another 6 months of Heartgard*. When I mentioned that we were only here for a scheduled HW test (not even on the quote) but would also be willing to do the Bord, which she was also sort of due for, the quote was changed to that. They took her into the back, then came back and said that there was another mix-up. My girl was NOT due for another HW test until October. I don't blame the vet tech, but I would NOT have gotten the Bord had I known that. We don't ever board her so while It was worth the $25ish addon to the other exam, if I'd have realized it would be over $50 (because of a tech visit), we would have just waited and kept her on the normal yearly schedule we do for our dogs. So now I'm down an afternoon and $53 with nothing to show for it and will need to go back in October for another visit. In the meantime, I'm annoyed enough that I'll be looking for another vet around here.

Excellent Experience. I needed to get my dog in last min. due to an allergic reaction. They got me right in. The doctor is very knowledgeable and patient. All the office staff is very friendly and answered all my questions. I Love them

This place reminds me of people going to a car dealership and getting screwed or better yet more like going to a mechanic and the mechanic saying you need this and this and you walk out with an outrageous bill. We recently moved to the area. My dog was due for vaccinations and my wife took him for his vaccinations. She walked out with a $300 bill. List of items they “had” to do 1) Physical *This I get since my dog is a new patient* 2) heart screening *told due to mosquitoes it’s recommended, they did it without asking and charged me for it, cool tactics* 3) Ear Swab The only reason we came here was because the vet we wanted to take my dog originally didn’t have availability prior to us going out of town next week. Man I get you’re an animal hospital but you don’t have to gouge people on price. Will never take him back here.

I would like to thank the Doctor and his staff for saving our youngest baby . Duke is a 4.7 lb Yorkie and he was mistakenly given naproxen , naproxen is very toxic to dogs and it didn’t look good for Duke but they stuck with him and gave him fluids meds and love , I am happy to say that he is doing great thanks to all of you who assisted in his treatment.

Thanks to Dr Schoch for being so sweet to our boy Finn. Her initial thoughts were right, he didn't have a blockage, just a bad case of kennel cough. He's home and on the mend now. We'll be making El Dorado our primary vet for all our animals.

I am always very pleased with Eldorado Animal Hospital. I love the fact that they know me and my pets by name, that's why I continue to go to them for the past 20 years.

We would do anything for our 10 year old lab/shepherd mix and knew right away we found our veterinarian for life when we came across Dr. Schoch. She is very thorough in her explanations and someone we believe sincerely has our furry friend's best interest at heart. She is genuine, kind, and professional. Unfortunately, we have to leave as patients because we're relocating out of state. Anyone in search for a veterinarian would be lucky to have such a wonderful person care for their pets.

They were amazing at getting our new puppy Rya in right away. They explained everything to us in detail. Definitely highly recommend this clinic
