I researched so many trainers and even thought about sending our boy away for a few weeks. But I learned that most places use shock collars or choke collars. That was not the way I wanted to train our dog. Bark Busters doesn't use anything like that. They don't really even use treats, but they definitely get results. The first day made such a huge difference in Ripley. We can answer the door without him jumping on guests. We can eat in peace. But, like with anything else, you get out what you put in. You have to do the work to train your pup. Amanda knows if you've slacked off and will call you out. ???? All for good reason. Building the foundation of training to build on is important. We were slackers in some areas. Now we are trying to be better so we can have a well behaved boy. I wish I would have found Bark Busters sooner. It would have made life so much easier. I highly recommend Bark Busters and Amanda Adams. She makes training fun for your dog and you too.????

Amanda was great! Super energetic, friendly, and fun to be around. We were not new to puppy training but it had been a long time since we had a puppy in the house (12 years). When we adopted Storm she had a few issues we weren't familiar with addressing (puppy crankiness to the extreme and some pretty bad anxiety when left alone). Amanda came in and after the first visit the Stormi's behavior did a complete 180. She is calmer around our older dog and no longer going into frustrated/cranky puppy mode at night. She has stopped the loud whining when she's crated for work and listens to our corrections. She seems like a much happier pup! I highly recommend Amanda!!

Amanda is has been extremely beneficial for Stella. I adopted a 2 year old stray from the shelter & Amanda has managed to help turn her into a responsive and obedient dog. We have only been working with Amanda for about a month but Stella has already made a dramatic difference and I can’t wait to see where she continues to go.

Amanda was incredible! Our dog, Pepper, struggled with anxiety and fear which would manifest in aggression, growling, and barking. She hated all new people and new dogs and would try to protect us unnecessarily from everything. Amanda taught us how to lead the pack, and demand respect from her, but in a way that is proactive in taking some of the responsibility of protecting her family off of Pepper, leading her to be more confident, and less anxious/afraid. She came into our house and we immediately saw results within the first hour just by changing the way we interacted with our dog. Highly, highly recommend! I also loved that there is no punishment or bribery involved in this training- you get to learn how to speak dog instead! If you feel helpless with your dog’s behavior, choose Amanda!

absolutely blown away with Amanda and the bark busters program! obviously the price is not cheap but from just our first 3 hour session the change we are seeing in our digs and ourselves is incredible. we had an all out dog war until today. it’s going to take time but i’m confident in Amanda, the program and us!

Today was our first session with Amanda. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. It would be an understatement to say we were pleased with the process - we were actually shocked at how well/fast our little guy responded. Amanda was terrific and amazing!! Just in the initial training session, my dogs made such huge progress!! Amanda gave us such great advice and training tools to address my dogs’ dominance, jumping and other behavioral issues. I am so excited to continue the training program!!

First off— I’m amazed! I have three dachshunds, two of which were beginning to fight due to sibling rivalry, fear and dominance aggression. It got to the point where I couldn’t have the two that fought outside of their crates at the same time anymore. The fights were happening more frequently and it was getting too dangerous and tough separating them. My last hope was a dog behavioral specialist and within less than 5 minutes of Amanda Leigh Adams working with us and our dachshunds, they were responsive and under control. Amanda helped show us how to talk dog and teach them how to respect us and each other. It has officially been one week since Amanda’s first visit and we have had no fighting, no growling and no sign of each other wanting to dominate the other. We now train our dogs every day using Amanda’s advice and guidance and our lives have changed for the better. All three dachshunds now sleep next to each other on their beds and roam the backyard together with no issues. I no longer have anxiety about keeping my dogs safe from one another. I also feel like my relationship with my dogs has changed in a really good way. Thank you, Amanda!!

I have a 9 year old great Pyranees mix that I thought would be impossible to work with. I was extremely skeptical about any progress being make at all as I've tried to many different things with her already, but our first training session I saw marked progress! I'm blown away and extremely thankful that I found her to help us!

Amanda is a fantastic trainer. EXTREMELY knowledgeable, passionate, and brings the energy with each session. Our golden doodle Pretzel was having challenges with leash pulling on walks, name recall when distracted, and appropriately interacting with other dogs. Amanda gave us practical methods that we can easily practice each day, simply by making small tweaks to our existing routine. We saw results almost instantly. Amanda is also extremely responsive if/when we send follow-up questions. 10/10 would recommend Amanda (and Bark Busters in general) to any dog owner looking to improve their relationship with their pup!

Signing up for training with Bark Busters was really nerve wrecking. We felt like like our fur baby was the craziest dog and we were running out out options to get him under control. Amanda is a BOSS!! Our little Cavapoo loved her from the day she walked through our front door. He definitely responds to the techniques she has taught us. She started with him at 2 months old and he is now 4 months responding to all the techniques she showed us. She is professional, personable and a lot of fun. Being first time dog owners, she has answered pet care questions outside training. We look forward to her working with us.

My boyfriend (beautifully supportive live partner) J and I were having trouble communicating effectively with our Dogo Argentino Uff-Da and French Bulldog Pato. Amanda was so insightful and thorough in educating us about exactly what was wrong about our previous approach. After just one session, we can both tell a huge difference in our dogs behavior and especially their respect for us. I never would have expected such a comprehensive change in their behavior, again, after just one session! If you have any doubt whether or not to chose Amanda, let me stop you right there and insist that you will not find better results, nor a better value elsewhere.

I almost have no words. My dog is no longer the same dog that he was when Amanda first got to my house. She was extremely professional and explained everything is such an understandable way. She taught me how to act like a leader which taught my dog to respect me. She is very thorough and will go over any questions you have. I am so ecstatic after even just the first session!! I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders and my dog and I will both be so much happier moving forward. You need to make sure you do the homework, though!!! Amanda helps TREMENDOUSLY, but this won’t work for you if you don’t commit to putting in the work. It’s not hard work- it just requires adjusting the way you do things that you already do daily with/for your dog. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Amanda is great! She has made training fun and has helped make our training an easy transition. We noticed a difference in our 4 year old rescue dog on day one! I was really interested to see if/how a dog training program could earn such a high rating from so many people. After the first training session, I am totally blown away! I initially had a list of 7/8 priorities that I wanted to work on, but Amanda swooped in with a totally different agenda based on a significantly higher understanding of everything dog related. Not only did every single one of those issues get addressed, but this new understanding is going to GREATLY benefit the dogs. It's all so intuitive, and yet I have never thought about it this way! Our session was just yesterday afternoon but at the end of the day today, neither of the dogs even tried to go into the kitchen. That wasn't even on the list! Amanda was incredible. We thought we knew our dogs so well, but she picked up on things my partner and I never noticed with just a half second glance. She is quick, intelligent, perceptive and did a phenomenal job of packing tons of information into each minute. On top of that, she kept things fun and made it known that she truly is available for follow up calls in between sessions. We're very happy to have more manageable dogs, but they're the true winners here! I'm so glad we went with this program. If only there could be a "Bark Busters" solution for every other problem in life. Thanks, Amanda!

We have tried EVERYTHING! This training works! We have an aggressive dog that we couldn’t bring anywhere out of fear of a fight or behavior issues. Even the first week of training led to major improvements! We’re now in our third week and our trainer Amanda, has changed our lives! Our dogs are calmer, more receptive, and we can see the aggression melting away. I’ve tried many methods and training but things weren’t working or I couldn’t love my pups because there were too many restrictions. Yes things changed with the bark buster training but it didn’t feel like it was taking away my relationship with my dogs, only improving it. I feel that same love when I come home and still get all my cuddles. My dogs are happier and I’m less stressed about the situation. I’m endlessly grateful for Amanda, her energy and the confidence she brings! We don’t feel so lost anymore and more bonded with our pups. This is worth every single penny.

I cannot say enough about Amanda! We were super skeptical about training because we have tried other trainers with no luck. But when Amanda came in and showed us the Bark Busters method, we were blown away. The training is effective and well worth every penny. We have seen vast improvement in Sofia’s behavior. To the point where it’s no longer a stressful endeavor leaving the house. If you are on the fence, do it. You will not be sorry!

Amanda completely met and exceeded my dreams about training. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect honestly, my dog being as crazy as he is. He is my first dog, and he wouldn't listen to me for anything. Amanda came in and IMMEDIATELY (I mean immediately) got him to stop barking. She taught me the psychology behind training a dog and explained everything in a way that made complete sense. My dog is a new dog now, and the progress we are making is incredible. My love for him grows every day as the frustrations have evaporated. My favorite part is that at no point did I feel judged for being honest about things I had given up on out of frustration. Amanda's response was always supportive, and rather than lecturing me (which I sort of expected and dreaded) she let me know we would handle it, and we have. Plus she's just super duper cool and 100% someone you want to be around. My dog, myself, and my cat (who comes out for snuggles now that the dog listens when I say "leave the cat alone") are so very thankful. I can't wait to see the progress in a couple of months if this is where we're at in only two weeks!
