This animal hospital is the absolute best. I have been going to this vet for years. I love my pets like they were my own kids. I get great service here and the vets and staff treat my pets like they are family too.

Always the best service and care for our pets. One of my dogs had to have a dental a while back because he had horrible breath. The vet had to pull lots of teeth but after my dog healed he started acting like a puppy again. I was very impressed when I found out that they donate their services to Montgomery County police dogs. Love that they are locally owned and support our community! I won't go anywhere else.

Just moved back to this area and we were very pleased with the staff and the vet! They are helping taking care of our almost 15 year old pup! They were very caring, informative, and thorough! They also didn’t try to push exorbitant tests or other things on us. Just a vet that actually cares about animals! So glad we found them!

My dogs are part of the family. I want them to have the quality care I would expect a medical professional to be able to provide for any of us humans. 1488 Animal Medical Center has blown me away with their attention to detail, incredible care, and unrivaled consideration. In the 14 years I have been a pet owner, I have never used another vet that can compare with the service we get here. They take such good care of my old pups it brings tears of relief to my eyes. The veterinarian calls me personally with updates after surgeries, my questions and concerns are answered competently with compassion, and I have always been given personalized and comprehensive treatment and care options. I can not express enough how thankful I am to have found them or how much appreciation I have for my dogs to be treated like individuals and not just another furry number.

FM 1488 Animal Medical Clinic has been caring for all of our extended family’s pets since we moved to the area 7 yrs ago. The entire staff treats us like we are their family too and take excellent care of all of our “children”. They try very hard to work with us and our unique situations in a caring, professional, and cost conscious way. Their counsel and advice is always given in a way that makes us feel that they are treating our baby like it was theirs. We have been associated with various pet clinics over the past 40 yrs and this one outshines them all!

I have found every person at FM 1488 Animal Medical Clinic to be caring, compassionate, fair, and fast in every instance where I have needed them for both my cats and dogs. Their prices are commensurate with their care as well. They listen to my needs and act accordingly, with suggestions to improve my loving animals care. Thank you !!!!

Everyone here was so sweet and skilled with my little man. The doctor sat down with me and really talked to me and gave me good information and preventative care. The tech was so kind and patient, and knowledgeable! I am not sure if the prices are competitive, but I've paid more for less in other clinics and don't mind the rates here at all. Definitely making this our home base for pup health.

We love FM 1488 Animal Medical Center and Dr. Green! They treat us and our fur babies like we are family! We love them so much we drive from Katy to get the quality of care our dogs deserve.

The vets are highly qualified and the support staff members are courteous, compassionate and very helpful at all times! I have always had great care for my two cats. Their Vet's and support staff are professional and congenial. Their pricing is reasonable. I also appreciate that they call or text you the next day make sure that all went well and or see if you have any questions about medications etc.

I started coming to FM1488 in the fall of 2018. My cocker, Elphie, had been treated by Dr. Green from the time I got her at another clinic, and when Dr. Green moved, I started driving the hour-long commute to FM 1488 because she had a heart murmur and I wanted it looked after properly (the replacement vet at the other clinic close to me dismissed my concerns; Dr. Green did a scan and had her on meds to help immediately). Elphie wouldn’t have lived another two years without the wonderful treatment she received at FM1488. All of the technicians and support staff are fantastic and super helpful and friendly. I’m continuing the commute with my puppies because I trust the care they receive. The costs are comparable to other clinics and their loyalty reward program is an excellent bargain (it has saved me a lot of money). I cannot recommend enough FM 1488 AMC - your pets are in excellent hands there!

We have been using FM1488 AMC since moving here in October of 2010. Over the course of that time, they have seen our dogs through times of just wellness visits to extreme emergencies like seeing the dogs for eating rat poison, electrical connectors and Christmas tree ornaments to name a few, as well as allergic reactions. Dr Amy, Dr Helton, Dr Green and Dr Jeffrey are the Doctors we have seen, and all of them have been very attentive to our animals and take the time to explain any issues the animals may be having. When I do have to call for an issue with the dogs, the front office staff are really good about listening to my concerns and getting us in to see one of the Doctors at 1488 AMC. Overall, I always feel like my animals get really good care by all the folks there, I would certainly recommend them if you’re looking for a location that loves your pets as much as you do!

I had an emergency as my dog had gotten into a fight and was injured.....went to emergency vet but 2hr wait there, so needed to go somewhere quickly.... I called FM 1488 Animal Medical Center and they got us in immediately. As we were a new client, I was Amazed at their responsiveness as my regular vet said they could see us at 3pm that day.....well some emergency situations don't allow you to wait that long....so that is why I sought medical care elsewhere. I want to share how wonderful our experience was in this difficult time....the staff here was extremely friendly, responsive, professional, caring and kind. They explained everything thoroughly and spent time with us (the vet, Dr. Helton even sat on the floor with my fur baby to comfort her), didn't try to rush us out. Sidebar: 2 emergencies came in the door as we were entering. If you are reading this, you must know I am a picky foster and rescue doggie Mom and Love my fur babies...they are my kids. So I want only the BEST tcare for them and that is exactly what we received here....we will be switching vets to come here from now on!!! I am so happy to find a vet clinic that knows how to provide good customer service, quality care and simply kindness to someone in need. And believe me, I have been to many vets and spent $$$$'s....if you are looking for a vet or a new vet you can't go wrong picking FM 1488 Animal Medical Center!

We have been using this clinic for almost 3 years and have had the best experience!! Dr. Jeffrey has been amazing with our dog for all check-ups and spaying. He is always very thorough and Informative during appointments. He never makes you feel rushed, and genuinely cares about you and your pet. The whole staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and your pets are taken care off. Even in an emergency, The whole staff steps up and makes sure your pets are taken care of. Our cat got attacked and all Dr’s made sure she had the best care possible to save her. If you are searching for an awesome animal clinic, look no further!!

All of the staff and doctors at this clinic have been so amazing to me and my fur babies. The doctors always provide the highest level of care, and my dogs love seeing them. When one of my dogs experienced an injury and then started having seizures weeks later, the doctors and techs were there every step of the way, and answered all of my questions. The staff regularly checks in to see how he is doing, and I am thankful for every person at this clinic and how well they care for their patients. Thanks for being awesome!

We have been so happy with all aspects of this clinic from the front desk staff’s knowledge and eagerness to help and solve any problems that were presented to them, the vet techs who are thorough in their gathering off all pertinent information, to The medical staff. Dr Stephanie Z. has been there through thick and thin with our pets (3 cats and 1dog). She has delivered news - both good and bad - n a kind and compassionate manner. Dr Jeffrey and Dr Green have been ready to help at a moments notice. We are so grateful for each person with whom we interact.

My pets have been clients for fifteen years. The professionalism, quality of care, and compassion as we worked through difficult decisions with our pets has been invaluable to me over the years. It is the only place my dog feels comfortable boarding when I leave town. I have moved recently but still travel to make sure my pets are seen by the vets & staff at FM 1488 Animal Medical Center.

I have been going to this animal clinic for almost 4 years and they have been awesome! Everyone is so sweet and super helpful! My pup loves seeing everyone.

Every member of the staff is caring, responsive & professional. I feel like they always have the best interest of my dog in mind.

Still doing “ COVID procedures” as of June 11th though it’s their own procedure, not the CDC recommended “follow the science ” guidelines. They didn’t inform me of their ridiculous procedures, can’t leave my vehicle and take my own dog inside. Ironic that they are so concerned about their clients health yet they haven’t even been vaccinated themselves. Then to try and punish the animal they put our conversation in to the pet records thinking it’ll affect my ability to go somewhere else. Pretty despicable for a business that's supposed to love and care for our animals.

The Doctors and staff here are very professional and personable. Our dogs love them and look forward to going in. Both of our pups (siblings) came up lame in their hind leg, with luxating patella, diagnosis and surgery later both of them are doing remarkable, thanks to Dr.Jeffery and his team. Dixie at just a month after her 12 week recovery period is running as fast as she was before and jumping after balls. Both are a year and a half Rebel is doing the same but he’ll never catch her. Thank you for taking care of our babies.

When we moved to this area with our dog who has MULTIPLE issues, I did a bunch of research. I also had just left a 17-year-long position at a veterinary hospital elsewhere, so I knew exactly what I was looking for. The office staff is patient and responsive, which means a lot because of all our pet's issues. As clients, I can assume we're a handful. The technicians are informative and handle our pet with care. The doctors are sensitive to our concerns and treat us with a level of respect and patience that can only been deemed as saint-like. At every level, we get the feeling that our concerns are valid. (Which is a great feeling, because at some point I begin to feel like we're hypochondriacs by proxy... Our dog has Addison's disease, hypothyroidism, mast-cell tumors, severe allergies and partial paralysis due to intervertebral disc disease... So yeah.) Whether it's a question about disease, treatment, prevention, screenings or cost, we always get treated probably better than we deserve! From my experience, both inside and outside of the veterinary world, it takes a great deal of compassion to have a successful career in this field. It takes that, along with even more patience and resilience to perform veterinary medicine at such an expert level as this. Kudos to you guys for your amazing dedication, and thank you for doing what you do. The level of care provided here is definitely top notch.

This place has been great with my dogs I’ve brought in. I had to put my old pup down and everyone was so kind with getting him immediately after having seizures. Unfortunately he was ready to go but they let me come in and have my time with him. When I brought my new rescue in, they were so excited to meet him and have helped me on his road to recovery! The techs have been great about coming to my truck and asking me how he has been and complimenting his progress. I’m excited to have a team that cares about my animals as much as I do

This is facility Has a great staff overall. They work hard to get the best quality for my two for babies. I love all five doctors and trust everyone in the clinic with my girls.
