Our little pup had some bone splinters and she asked us to post this review. The doctors and nurses are highly skilled and very responsive to my owners. They even petted me a lot to make me feel loved. Thank you for helping me to heal and be ok! Bella Colonna

From the moment Abby met us in the driveway after our dog had a seizure Saturday night, the doctors and staff provide compassionate and professional care for our sweet girl. Their evaluation was through and timely, within an hour of arrival. The doctors and staff keep us updated throughout the night. Even after full shifts, they always took the time to answer our questions and give us knowledge about her condition. Would not hesitate to return again and recommend to everyone.

our cat miso had trouble urinating and we got worried and took him in. from the first time they talked to us it was nothing but professionalism and smiles. they kept us up to date on his recovery, answered all of our questions (there were many) and even gave us resources for urinary blockage prevention after we got him back. this vet is the most caring, knowledgeable and passionate vet we have ever been to and we will not hesitate to bring any sick animal to them. they are expensive but worth every penny

My experience with Emergency Per Care in FM 1488 was excellent! The staff was caring, took great care of my dog, kept me informed of each step, provided me with an estimate of the cost of care. Sent me home with all the meds and a detailed instruction sheet on how to administer drops and meds (which was greatly appreciated!) needed to care for my dog. Outstanding in every way!!!!

We were frantic and the staff was not in any hurry to treat our dog. They said the doctor would not see our dog for at least 15 min We felt that our dog was dying and would not last that long. Also they would not let us come in which we found extremely frustrating. The prices for everything were extremely high and the staff was so concerned about getting paid.

Everyone was caring and concerned. The staff was overwhelmed with emergencies this weekend but no one flinched. It was great to know my dog Mr. Monkey was well taken care of. Kudos to you all

Seemed like they didn't want to deal with my dog after it was attacked. Kept coming up to me pressuring me to make a decision to put my dog down. We ended up leaving and my dog survived and is prefectly fine. I would leave them no stars if I could. I brought him in as he was literally dying and they wouldn't even look at him until they could make sure they got the money out of my account. This isn't the first time this money hungry vet has done something like this to me either. But when you're in an emergency what choices do you have.

My four legged family member was hit by a vehicle and I took him to this emergency animal hospital. They were amazing to say the very least! The care and concern they showed my canine Remington was over the top and the kindness they offered to my son and I was more than I could ever have asked for! I highly recommend them if you are in need of after hours care! We lost our special boy but it gives me comfort knowing he was in good hands!

I brought in my puppy Moose for a choke where he was then diagnosed with non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema. It was very upsetting and the treatment was expensive $3700. After denying treatment, my boyfriend and i were bomb boarded with guilt tricks and almost begged to pay the treatment or do a payment plan. They said our dog would likely not make it through the treatment and that he would 99% not make it through the night. They kept telling us over and over that we were doing the wrong thing by taking our dog home and that we would cause him immense suffering. They kept highly suggesting putting out dog to sleep but we wanted to give him the opportunity to fight and it felt like their was extreme judgement and that al they cared about was money. It took them forever to bring our puppy back out to us. Again, they kept telling us our dog would suffer immensely. We took our puppy home and by the next morning, he was running around, super happy, eating and drinking. I am SO happy with my decision to bring the dog home. Because of their Medical advice, i could have potentially put down a puppy that was going to be 100% okay. I do not feel the diagnosis was correct. The people who worked there were extremely unprofessional. I did not have the money for treatment and i felt harassed the entire time. I would not take my pet here ever again. I’m glad i trusted my gut feeling and have a perfectly healthy dog.

My cat became very ill in the middle of the night and we rushed him here. They saved his life snd we’re extremely helpful, caring, pleasant and informative to us regarding his condition snd next steps for care. The specialist we brought him to next commented on the wonderful care he received here snd said he wouldn’t have survived without it. I highly recommend this place for emergencies and difficult medical cases.

Based on previous positive reviews, we decided to take our severely injured JR Terrier to this clinic at 9pm. We called ahead, and they said they would be ready for him. When my husband arrived, a nice lady came out with paperwork to fill out, and she asked for information about his injuries. She mentioned X-rays would be around $500, and he said that was fine. A few minutes after she walked back into the clinic, another lady came out and informed my husband the doctor could not help our dog. When my husband asked why, she told him that it appears he may have a broken back or neuro issue, and they would have to recommend us to a “real animal hospital.” Our dog was never even examined!! He was still in the truck in immense pain covered in blankets! When he asked how in the world the doctor could know that diagnosis without even seeing the dog, she said it was from the info my husband gave her about his symptoms!! All my husband told her was the dog had some injury that was causing him pain and was unable to put weight on his back legs! My husband left and went straight to Animal ER of NW Houston and was immediately seen and given pain meds. It turns out he only had a small fracture in his back leg! Maybe it was an off day, new staff or understaffed, but I cannot understand how you can call yourself an “emergency pet care” facility and decline treatment to a dog in pain without ever even seeing them!

My dog had gotten sick and we came here. Unfortunately it was a long wait, but it's understandable due to some pets that came in. Noah and Vanessa were nothing but kind and patient. They treated my scared puppy with all the love and patience they could give. From what I was told, Noah spent the night checking on my pup and ensuring he felt comfortable. While I never wish to come here again due to the circumstances it would entail, if my dogs have any emergency issue this is where I will be.

In a way, I’m almost going to be sad once my buddy gets through his difficult health journey because this place is so good to him. The real highlight are the technicians, especially Sarah. Patient, kind, thorough, and a sense of urgency are what words come to mind when describing them. The doctors don’t rush to get rid of you and help you understand the nuanced characteristics of their patients health. Do you have to wait, yes, but I’d wait double the time just to have them care for my dog. Do you pay a lot, yes, but it’s worth it. Thank you for being there to help out family!

Very concerned and caring. Abby treated us with respect and answered our questions and thoroughly explained the procedure. They were very kind to poor little Mamie, our kitty, who had been attacked by what we are sure was a coyote. Mamie is on the mend, a bit groggy, but doing well. Thank goodness for these pet medics, vet techs, Vets, and staff. I was so rattled and upset, I apologize for not having my mask on. Thanks again, to all. Who helped.???????? Five stars and more.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would like to add that we live in a very, dense and wooded area which is a natural habitat for many types of wildlife, including coyotes. The kitty, who is about 5 years old, came to us, along with three or four siblings, when neighbors quit caring for them. She and many other cats have found their way to our front porch. I had Vets neuter/spay and give them the initial vaccines. She has always lived outside and hated being indoors. I don't despise the coyotes, they do what they do, and I hope no one takes my post as a message to kill them. These wild creatures are rapidly running out of space due to us humans. If anyone has a solution and can provide me with a way to frighten the coyotes away, I welcome your advice. Just be aware, that any of our small animals are as a friend puts it, "meals on paws". I have her, the kitty, in a large kennel/cage in the living room, she is kind of out of it due to the drugs. I hope to convince her that she is an expensive house cat now! She has a small litter box along with food, water, and bedding in the cage. She has never used a litterbox and I am wondering if she will as soon as she feels better? The two other, always indoor cats, seem very annoyed with her presence. My older dog seems ok with her. Thanks for reading, and again thank you Emergency Pet Care and Dr. Toups, and the staff. Great helpers.

Our frenchie started having seizures. It was incredibly scary and stressful. We were immediately greeted at the front door. They gave us constant updates all the while taking amazing care of our fur baby. The doctors and nurses are incredibly thorough and attentive. Our little guy was not liking being alone in the crate so the staff would take turn holding him and giving him snuggles. Our little guy is home and doing amazing, thanks to Emergency Pet Care of Texas. Also, they 48 hour stay did not break the bank, very reasonable. It was almost exactly what they quoted me it would be to the penny. We are definitely happy with our experience and cannot recommend them enough.

Just had my 14 year old dog here for an ultrasound and fine needle aspirate of a mass on her liver. The details on the ultrasound report were amazing, the procedure went smoothly, the staff were informative and empathetic and my doggy came home with me as if nothing happened a happy little girl.

GREAT PLACE to take your pet when they aren't feeling well! I took Senza, my golden retriever, there this past week. She had serious skin issues and while I was SUPER worried they made Senza and me very comfortable. They took great care of her and kept me in the loop the entire time! Missy is super friendly, Courtney reached out to me about my girl, and doctor Sarah was very professional and knowledgable! THEY REALLY CARE and do their best to help!!

Emergency Pet Care helped save our puppy's life. Our puppy, Koda, who is 8 months old and a lab mix, ate a part of a sego palm. Thankfully, we choose Emergency Pet Care as their staff, nurses and vets knew how to respond to this medical emergency. Within 48 hours ... Koda was back home after spending two days in their facility. We were impressed by the nurses/ vets who called every twelve hours with an update....even during a holiday weekend! Thank you for your outstanding care, Emergency Pet Care of Texas!

Great folks from Missy up front to the vet assistant to Dr. Garcia. Our pup became very ill, diarhhea , bloody stool , lethargic after hours. With the diarrhea happening frequently possible dehydration, dangerous in small dog like ours. My friends at AAR said to take her here. They were right. They did the exam, gave us the recommendations and kept her overnight. Fluids, meds and saved our little one. Highly recommend. Great place and people

I waited for four hours but my turn never came because my cat wasn’t “critical” enough. When I called and asked at the 4 hour mark, they told me to go to a different vet. Why wasn’t I told that earlier?
