i have been here 3 times, they had great reviews so i wanted to give this small business a shot. i almost never complain about service or business in general, but this last time i came it was far from a five star experience. when i dropped off my dog at 10:30, i told he front desk girl what i wanted. short all over, short ears, keep eyelashes. by 2:30 i still had not heard from them (my dog is 10 lb it doesn't take 4 hours to groom him) so i decided to give them a call. the guy just said "yeah he's ready come get your dog" as if i had known and decided not to get him. my dogs face is completely uneven, ears were not cut short and are also very uneven, and eyelashes totally chopped off. i decided to make a call to talk to the manager and explained everything, she just said i could bring him up to fix. i explained how i lived 30 minutes away and didn't have the time to she just kinda sat in silence and said she would make a note, didn't ask for his name or mine. working in customer service, i'm used to refunds being sent out or just making things right when the customer isn't happy so when i paid $50 for a haircut that i'm having to fix i was shocked she just blew it all off. i know places are short staffed and overworked, i get it i work in a restaurant that is dealing with the same thing, but we always make it right when the customer is upset. i'm glad others have had great experiences, i just didn't this time!

Have been taking my large dog to them for years. They are so good with all types of dogs. Recommend them to anyone.

We have 2 dogs that require monthly grooming. One of our babies is almost 12 years old we've taken her to Dave for at least 9 years. Recently we added a Coton to our family and she's only been groomed here. This is a family owned business and everyone is so amazing. They treat your pet as if it were their own !!! I wouldn't trust anyone other than this family to groom or bathe my dogs. The Best in Texas !!!!

I have taken my dog here a total of three times. The first time was perfect, a lady groomer came out and asked me how I would like him cut. I told her not much just trimmed up. I was able to show her a picture and she said okay. About 30 mins in I got a call saying he was matted and if I would like him unmated it would be an extra fee or they could just cut him shorter. I replied just unmat him because I don’t want him to be cut shorter. When I picked him up I was so happy as he looked just like the photo I showed the groomer. The second time I went they asked if I would like the same cut as last time. I said yes since I was so pleased with previous grooming. When I picked him up he was cut so short I didn’t even recognize my dog. I expressed this was not the same cut I got last time and was told he “was to mated up and he needed to be cut that short.” I just accepted it because I’m new to this whole grooming thing but wasn’t happy. This past weekend when I took my dog back a third time. I was asked again if I wanted the same cut as last time and told them no not as short. Not only did it take them 6 hours but I had to call to check on the status and was told it would be another hour before he was ready. (It was another 2 hours after I called.) When I picked up my dog he was again cut so short. He was acting skittish, timid, and really just traumatized. I assumed it was because he was not used to practically having no hair on his body. When I settled down for the day and was on the couch that evening I noticed he was nicked and cut where my dogs balls used to be but are no longer there since he has been neutered. It’s like they shaved right over it without even paying attention to that area. Not to mention a few nails were missed from being trimmed. Needless to say..I read a review from a different person with a similar experience from a few months back. So if your going to tell me the same thing that my dog was too mated and had the cut prior to getting groomed. You can just save it. My dog an I are inseparable I notice any little thing as if he were my child. Plus he’s white so it’s hard to miss. My heart hurts for whatever happened in those 6 hours because 3 days later my dog still isn’t his self.

Fast and friendly. First time coming in for my two girls. All they needed was their nails clipped. And we were in and out in like 10 minutes. If I wasn't moving I'd go to them again!!!!

This was my first time. Thank you for doing such a great job with Winnie and Waldo. They were calm when I picked them up, a good sign that they had a good experience. I've been price gouged a little having two dogs to groom and I thank you for not doing that.

This is the only place I ever take my fur babies to! Been going to David’s for about 3 years now. They always leave them super well groomed, smelling good & are quick. Definitely recommend!!

Never, ever will I take my babies to this place again. They both came home with cuts near their eyes, chest and other places. They are almost bald, with spots that are !! and I did not ask for that! I didn't expect showroom cuts, but definitely didn't expect for them to look like this. One dog has been crying since last night!! I have never experienced this with a groomer before. Very unhappy and hurt that my dogs have been so depressed since I picked them up. I have never seen them like this.. In reply to yours. First of all, they did not have cuts under their chest. Nor did one have a clipper burn/cut over his eye!! I do not appreciate you not taking responsibility for the actions of the bad cuts. It is your professional duty to inform if there is issue before, not after with doing the cuts or expectations.. there is a difference between short and bald spots. You should know that.. i haven't had any issue with a groomer in the past 5 years, at all. So I dont need your advice on when to take them. Not one issue. You are overpriced in comparison to quality.. improve instead of finding excuses and redirecting fault!!

Was very pleased they called me to make me aware of some matting and check to see if it was ok to shave the ears. Will continue to use them as they always do a great job

The ladies at David's did an amazing job on my awkwardly fluffy mix. Very affordable full treatment (bath, condition, dry, nails, trim up, teeth). Fast, professional, and cheaper than the last two places we tried. One tip: Make an appointment a week out or so. It helps them get to your pup in a timely manner.

I love handing them all of my dogs. All of my dogs comes clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend and the new guy named Jay is the best.

We've been going to David's Pet Grooming for about a year. They do an amazing job! My dog got into a big patch of weeds and his fur was covered in stickers. Miguel did a great job trimming my dog and getting all the stickers out. Great price, quick service!

Very reasonably priced. Really easy to get an appointment at a convenient time for me. My Sprout was done less than 2 hrs. with the works. He looks very handsome!
