Called at 08.30 and got an appointment same day at 09.30. Staff and Doctor were great. My go to vet for 4 years now! Highly recommend.

I chose Thrive Affordable Vet Care one years ago because a distance from my home. As I visit there, the employees are so kind and nice. I am not a native, but they make me understand easily. Also, My dog is very coward, but they take care of him a best way. At this time, my small dog attacked by a big dog on last Saturday. They took care of my dog carefully, so I was very satisfied their service. I will stay loyalty as one of their customers

Only went for a heartworm test to update my dog's heartworm and flea and tick meds and ended up with a $230 bill. The check in is easy and smooth. I was under the impression that I was seeing a vet tech, which was previously $15, however I was charged with seeing the vet. I was okay with the vet charge, but I was also charged with clinical support fee! The vet tech seemed to have an attitude when asking about the dog's lack of vaccines. I explained that his vaccines were given at another place and I had the records. She was very short and cold. At the end of the visit, she did not review the bill. She only told me the total and said I would get an emailed receipt. The attitude of the vet tech and the clinical staff charge without details is a hugh tune off. Kindness goes a long way.

They seem to really care about their patients.... I have been to a couple of different veterinarian offices and for some reason or another they really lacked quality however this place blows them away they are very pet friendly and also people friendly

My fur baby has been coming here for over a year now. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Cost of visit and vaccine is comparable with other vets in the area. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with good value with quality service!

This is by far the best Thrive in Houston. I have been to about 4 others, most recently the Petsmart location on W Grand Pkwy N because it was closer to me, but I was thoroughly disappointed by the vet's lack of professionalism and skill, their refusal to give my 20lb dog his nail trim because he "wouldn't be still", and their exam rooms that stink of pee. However, I've always had a great experience at this location. Their staff is extremely friendly, the vets actually care about their patients, and their whole office, including the exam rooms, are always immaculately clean. They've got themselves a loyal customer from now on because I'll never even try another Thrive location.

if you love your pet don’t take them here. sure it’s low price vaccination packets, but if you’re doing a sick visit DONT COME HERE. the vet flung my (obviously in pain) chihuahua around like she was a rag doll (whom passed away after the vet sent her home saying she was fine) if you actually care about your pets and want a professional, reliable, animal loving veterinarian go to Fort Bend Animal Hospital 1012 5th St, Rosenberg, Tx 77471 It’s a little of a drive but it’s worth it. The staff is friendly and you can tell everyone that works there wants to be there, loves animals, and actually knows what they’re doing. The pricing is also not bad and you’ll feel more comfortable knowing your pet is in quality hands.

WORST VET SERVICE I’VE SEEN IN MY LIFE Today I took my pet to the appointment at Thrive Affordable Vet Care at 9722 Gaston Rd Suite 175, Katy, TX 77494. I have scheduled it using Thrive Schedule call center. We got there 2 minutes before our appointment that was 5:15. We were immediately told to wait that they would check us in soon. After a 15 minutes wait (around 5:27) another Thrive employee came forward and simply told us that the 5:15 time was triple booked and that we would have to be re-scheduled. There was no conversation, no questions she very rudely just told us that my pet would not bee seen by the vet. NO ONE, at no time even ASKED IF THE PET WAS FINE. Neither the Vet which was rushing to go home, no one even look at our pet or asked to understand why we were seeking a vet service. We tried to say that we were waiting and had a previous appointment, plus the next day at proposed time I wouldn’t be able to attend, but the rude lady simply repeated that it was triple booked, blamed their schedule department and said that there was nothing they could do. Repeated everything like a machine. Another Thrive employee was there and simply ignore the situation, and the Vet proved that she have complete disregard for my pet (perhaps any pet) also ignoring our request and claims that we couldn’t go next day. We then called their phone number reported everything and the person on the phone said that they were just the Schedule team and there was nothing they could do. So apparently it us the customer falt, what a terrible company. It was the worst service I’ve ever seen in my life I won’t ever recommend this place to anyone.

My dog had a massive infection in her ears, it was a little pricey for what little we had done but all in all my dogs happy and back to normal. Will come to this specific location at Gaston and Falcon in katy again!! Thank you guys so much!!

Very professional diagnostics of dog health issues.

I had a great experience at Thrive today. I took my dog in for a follow up fecal from another vet (that I will not be going back to). The doctor was very informative about the issue my pup is having. She gave me peace of mind by being able to answer all of the many, many questions and concerns I was having. Thanks Dr. Rath!

Very attentive pet care at very reasonable rates. Took my dog here and was helped by Brianna (sp?) who was super nice and gentle and Dr Lennon who was very thoughtful and competent. I will switch and make this our normal vet for all my dogs vet services.

I live in Katy ,Tx about 40mins away from the Fountainview location or Gaston location.There’s a location maybe 10 mins or less from me on North Grand parkway & Morton Rd. I had so much problems from vet not want to give my pet her regular allergy shot that she been receiving for 4yrs thru Thrive. To calling the day of appointment to reschedule to cancel knowing I made appointment couple of weeks because the vet is overbooked. They missed vaccine my pet.So I rather drive long distance to see vet and technicians far away and knowing my pet received the best care.

Today Duchess had her first Puppy visit at Thrive on Gaston. The receptionist/tech that helped us in the front was so friendly and very informative about my options and the programs they offer. The super sweet tech and the vet were able to help answer all of my questions and everyone was very transparent with pricing and mindful of how stressed my puppy was. All in all it was an awesome visit and I’m happy that I picked this clinic.

I’ve been a member for almost 2 years now and it has been a great experience! My pets are healthy and loving life thanks to THRIVE. Thanks much.

Ample parking. The building as well as the exam room were very clean and actually smelled great. The appointment went by very quick and I was given an estimated price before any services were performed. The vet tech and vet answered all of my questions and helped my pup feel a lot better.
