Loving this place!!! My dog felt right at home and the down to earth explanations are greatly appreciated!!

Very bad experience with this vet clinic. They are very much over priced for the service they provide. We went there for rabies vaccine, they charge about $60 for each shots and prescribed two shots. Each time we went for the rabies vaccine, they have to charge an additional $40-60 examination fee, even though we do not want it. So for the rabies vaccine, we paid about $260, and later on we found other vet only charge $20 flat for a simple rabies vaccine. This vet recommend us a long list of other vaccines each time we visit with a total charge in the range of $400-500. If we decline then the nurse will raise her voice and not content with our level of expenses.

Very expensive! During Covid I have to wait in the car while my pet is being cared for. I understand the practice however I am looking for a vet where I can be by her side during care while also following/respecting Covid procedures.

Dr. Cruz and her staff are very kind and thoughtful. It was very easy to make an appointment. Update: service and care has been phenomenal! Thank you Dr. Cruz and team for seeing our geriatric Fry so soon after requesting an appointment. And thank you for doing your part to protect us during this pandemic.

We started to take our new golden retriever puppy to this vet and found the vet and the staff amazing. Being a first time puppy owner, we had lots of questions and they spent a lot of time answering them all. I can't recommend this vet enough, they even helped us out in an emergency situation where our dog had eaten rat poison from the neighbors yard. Not only did they rapidly treat our puppy, they called for medical research on the poison and also took the time to call us the next day to check on his condition....which is perfectly back to being a mischievous puppy again.!!! Awesome vet that cares, knowledgeable, has great staff and a blessing that is in our community.

Everyone took the time to get to know us and understand my dog and his needs. They spelled out many options and gave us the info to make a good decision. I trust them with my senior dog and my retiree's budget. So glad I dropped by to meet them .

Dr, Navas and team brought me here. The team at Pet Medical of Katy was the added plus! New client. Staff was very helpful in providing information on registration and what to expect. Once I arrived, curbside assistance and communication was excellent. Very smooth. Very informative and clear as to what was done, found, and recommended. Observation: When things get back to normal, I personally think waiting in the car before being seen is better!!! My dog was very calm waiting in the car and clue less as to where he was. When waiting in the office he gets agitated and nervous, barking smells etc. Might be something to implement as a standard in the future. Highly recommended. They care!

I was taking my dog here for many years..but after noticing the exaggeration of Dr.Cruz and all the unnecessary procedures/recommendations, I finally switched. There were so many instances where I was charged (a ridiculous amount) for unnecessary or over exaggerated procedures. For instance, once I was charged $50 for a 2 minute 'hydrotherapy' session on my dog who opened a stitch...and then was told I can do it again at my home in a couple hours by running a cup of warm water over his injury. When I deny many of the optional vaccines they offer (ie Flu Shot) I always get a judgmental look after. I regret agreeing to a lot of the unnecessary xrays they took, as it strained my dog for no reason. I must say however, the front desk team is always helpful.

My pup woke up in the night vomiting blood and I was so nervous. I had not been to Pet Medical Katy before, but I called and they worked me into the schedule. My pup is okay now with meds and resting at home! So thankful for the attentive service, kind employees and a great experience. You guys are my new vet now! Thank you!

NASA Pet Hospital was great! Their staff was super friendly, and the doctor made us feel comfortable and confident our cat was going to be okay. He is back home and doing very well just 1 day after surgery. Thank you so much!!

I was very impressed with how Dr. Cruz explained to me what she was checking for while she was examining my dog. She let me know in advance what reaction(s) she might get from him if he felt any pain or discomfort (we took him to the vet because he was acting painful, but we couldn't tell where the pain was coming from). She did a very thorough exam; much more so than any vet I have previously taken my dogs to. She was able to find the pain source and prescribe anti inflammatory and pain medication. My dog 3 days later feels like a million dollars and acts like he's ready to climb Mount Everest now that he's not in pain. All of the staff members were very polite, professional, and efficient. The lobby and exam room were both very clean and organized. The prices were very reasonable as well. I will be using Pet Medical Center of Katy as my regular vet from now on.

Pet Medical Center is the BEST. We have been a client of the PMC since Dr. Cruz opened Pet Medical Center here in Katy. Drs. Cruz, Anderson and Navas and the staff are all very knowledgeable, compassionate, efficient and personable and there is no doubt in my mind that they have a special affection for our pets. My pets and I have always received the best of care which I am very grateful for. Thank you for all your care over the past years and the girls and I look forward to our continued relationship.

I have been bringing my pets to Pet Medical Center for quite some time now. I love the family feeling from the staff as we are greeted walking in the door . They greet my dog my name, and I'm always happy that he's comfortable with them as he gets weighed in, then we go to our assigned room and wait for the Doctor. The wait isn't long, usually a staff member comes right away if there's any blood work to be done , and takes Jaxon to the lab. Again, they treat him like he's theirs! Both Doctors are kind and compassionate. Jaxon is a rescue dog. Dr Cruz has been overly cautious and sensitive with his treatments due to the fact that we just don't know what he dealt with before my family adopted him. She's not only an amazing Doctor, she has become a trusted friend in the warfare of our newest family pet. I highly recommend Pet Medical Center for you animal's health and care. Small office, Lots of love and time.

The experience I had here was unbelievable!! Was insulted for feeding my cats an all natural diet instead of their overpriced prescription food. Was told that would cause my cats a urinary infection and when I asked “how” I was told “look it up, there is science behind it” and was not given further information. THIS WAS ALL BEFORE THEY EVEN LOOKED AT MY CAT! They showed me within five minutes of talking to me that they care about the money, not the animals. I wanted to try this place because of how close it is to home, but after this unprofessional experience I wouldn’t dare take my babies here.

The Vet Tech “DJ” was patient, listened to all of my concerns-also very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease. Jennifer, the receptionist couldn’t have been nicer and Dr. Anderson was very caring and professional. I feel that I am in good hands here. Nice to receive such good service.

Have been a client for 11-12 years. Talented vet, terrific staff, great location. Always takes wonderful care of our "baby", couldn't imagine taking him anywhere else.

This was our first visit to Pet Medical Center of Katy. My cat Pearl and I were welcomed by a very nice, caring staff. The veterinarian was knowledgeable and made several smart suggestions to solve the problems. This is a great center with a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and a staff that will treat your pet like one of their family.

We absolutely love Pet Medical Center of Katy. We have been using them since we moved to the Katy area in 2012. Dr. Cruz and her staff are so friendly and love what they do.

First time I went and front desk was helpful and prompt taking care of me. Dr. Cruz was extremely thorough and explained to me everything she was going to do my dog and why during the examination. You can tell she loves animals. I got follow up calls to check on my dog. Great place ????

The whole staff here are wonderful! Wish the cost was lower but I think in general vet care is expensive.

All show and no go - I’ve boarded my pup here twice and she’s gotten her 2nd and 3rd rounds of shots here. The staff is super friendly. Dr. Cruz is a different story - the first appt, she was going on and on about how I shouldn’t take my puppy walking or anywhere except my backyard, I thought she was just overprotective, which is fair enough. Fast forward to my pup coming in to get her 16 week shots and microchipped and then having this massive lump show up the next day...all hospitality went out the window. Cruz was super defensive and kept saying that it wasn’t a reaction to the vaccines. It honestly seemed as if the puppies health was the least of her concerns. She couldn’t offer any exact answers or responses all she knew was that she was almost positive it had nothing to do with the vaccines. She sent me home with steroids and allergy meds..not so much as a follow up call to check on her. Moral of the story: it’s all sunshine and butterflies until the dog is actually sick. How could the person who was so concerned about her being exposed to some strange bacteria while walking be so nonchalant about a massive lump the day after she’s vaccinated? It’s smoke and mirrors. I suggest you save your money and time and go to someone who actually cares about animals and not their image.

Great place to take her dog/cat for regular vaccines and other issues and the staff is super nice
