Old Town is great. Always treat the pets with care and very attentive. Also the special rate they offer for vaccines on Wednesdays is a miracle!! For as long as we live in Katy, they will continue to be my vet of choice!

The team at Old Town is amazing! Dr. Hicks is caring and knowledgeable and always tells me what to expect. He cares about my pets!

Unbelivable 1 hour waiting. We scheduled an appoinment and still have to wait longer than 1 hour. I Will not come back.

So happy we found Dr Hicks. Been coming here for years and they take such great care of our dogs.

Update as of 11/17/2021 I recently adopted another kitten and dog and of course only trust this clinic for their needs. It was no question that the staff here would handle their vet care. They are not only conviently located in the Katy area, but going to them is like going to a doctor you've known your whole life. My animals are NEVER scared and recognize the building upon arrival. I love the convient location, not to mention the staff make us feel welcome each time. They answer every single question I have regardless of how mundane it may seem. That's what they're there for, to help us pet parents take the best care of our babies. Why trust anyone else? ❤️❤️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update as of 10/27/2020. My chihuahua passed back on May 2,2020 during the height of Covid-19. The staff here answered the phone promptly upon opening at 7am (she was already gone for a few hours having passed away at 3 am) and were able to get us in immediately for after life care. They took such good care of my sweet girl even in the end. I would not have trusted anyone else to help make those difficult decisions than the staff here. They really treat each patient like their own family and know all of their animal clients by heart. That being said, it was without hesitation that when I found and adopted an abandoned feral kitten I decided to return to Old Towne for my now kitten's vet care. I honestly would NOT go anywhere else. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Original Review: My Chihuahua loves the friendly staff here. They greet her when we walk in and make her feel safe and welcome. Dr.Hicks was so patient and spoke to her like you would a small child during her exam. I wouldn't trust her health care with anyone else.

I love these people. They are so kind and listen so good. Great place to take your animal(s)and even when I couldn't make it in, they helped me over the phone!!!God Bless them all.

I took my dog to them for a lesion on the back of her neck. They apparently didn't do the proper test to determine what the lesion was (it ended up being ringworm, easy to treat with medication), treated it with incorrect medication for a few weeks and it got worse. Took her back to have it rechecked, and the doctor advised she needed surgery to remove it. I asked them twice before the surgery if they didn't want to test it again, and was assured she needed surgery to remove it. So I let them perform the surgery. After the results of the biopsy came back, they called to tell me it was ringworm. So my dog had an unnecessary surgery, and there was no apology, no offer to refund any of the cost of the unnecessary surgery, or any acknowledgement that they had made a mistake. I also didn't appreciate the inexperience of the vet tech staff. I use a Gentle Leader leash on my dog, it goes around their nose. I specifically instructed them just to leave it on her if they didn't know how to properly put it back on, but they ignored that and brought my dog back to me with the leash tightly around her neck, right over the still-healing surgery incision. I was right outside and they could have asked me to come put it back on her instead of putting it over her incision for the unnecessary surgery she'd had. I would not recommend this practice, I feel like they harmed my senior dog unnecessarily and then never even acknowledged what they'd done. Especially after giving them a chance by questioning the need for surgery twice and asking if there wasn't another test they could do, they still went ahead anyway. Very disappointed.

Staff was nice. Even with an appointment I was waiting 30 minutes to have my kitten seen, and the very spent maybe 3 minutes in the room with me. They do have nice staff! I'll be going back to get vaccinations and my kitten spayed, so I'll update my review after those visits if things are more organized.

Dr. Hicks and Dr. Chea are awesome. We have been bringing our fur babies here for about 15 years. We've had to say goodbye to 2 of them over that time and the doctors and staff were very considerate and caring. I recommend Old Town to anyone that needs GOOD, THOROUGH and ATTENTIVE care for their animal. The new app is pretty cool too!

I once thought this place was amazing, but after going to competent vets that actually care for your pet, this place seems like a nightmare. I took my "child" to this place for years thinking I had the best care, when in reality he was grossly misdiagnosed, he wasn't handled as he should, and they even went so far as to give me the wrong dose for his medication. For one of our last visits there, somehow my dog lost the ability to walk for about 24 hours because they didn't treat him as they should for a simple blood test. He was in there maybe like 15 minutes and when he came out he couldn't walk. They said they didn't know why. When pressed for more answers they admitted he "fell." Up until this day I do not know what happened, but all I know is they mishandled or did something to him so severe that he literally stopped walking. I'm actually grateful to them for giving the wrong dose of medication the next visit because it made me realize this wasn't a good place for him. I switched to Cinco Animal Clinic which is amazing, and on the first visit Dr. Yoon diagnosed him correctly and we found out that the mass Old town kept saying was just fat, was actually cancer. Not to mention he never had arthritis like old town diagnosed, it was a neurological condition. All those years I went to old town, I was giving him medicine for something he didn't have, and I failed to treat what I should have. I severely regret taking my pet to this mediocre vet all these years, so if you still go here honestly get a second opinion because you might be wasting time you are going to wish you had. They broke my heart with their inadequate care when I trusted them to take care of my child and they failed to do so. I do not reccomend for the care of your fur children.

Customer service is non existent. Rude staff, unresponsive to customer needs. Changed vets today.

Closed down all week and I cannot get my pets regular meds refilled. Just need a explanation.

I'm so disappointed with this animal hospital. I just cannot believe how rudely my husband was treated this morning by their staff. I wanted to love this place as it is located close to my home and is truly a local business. But I will take their advice and find another vet. Heartbroken.

My visit was great for my American Bully. The vet Dr. hicks was very professional and answered all my questions. staff was also great. Highly recommend. Price is not any higher in my opinion to other vets in the area.

Due to covid-19, they have a pretty good system in place to reduce contact with other people and their animals. Our dog was very well taken care of and the entire staff is very polite and informative.

We have taken our pup here since we moved to Katy for vet care and grooming. She has been to many fancy grooming places in Houston, but this is the BEST cut she has ever gotten!! Every time it is just perfect! They take so much care of every detail, not just the overall cut! Finally someone who pays attention to and trims her “grinch” paws!

First class. They did an amazing job!!! I brought my second dog for them to take care of her teeth. I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Chea is amazing!!
