This company is a scam. They had to change their name due to them having so many bad reviews at Guadalupe so they renamed their clinic. The vet there is only in it for the money and it showed when he refused to give me my dog back after getting called out on them. If you care about your pet I’d look elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! THEY HAD TO CHANGE NAMES BECAUSE THEY KILLED SO MANY PETS!! I have NEVER had to leave a review. I showed up believing this was the location, when we were in the back room my boyfriend mentioned him seeing the name Guadalupe, that was an immediate red flag. I did more research and come to find out THEY ARE THE SAME PLACE!!!! I asked them to get my dog back less than 5 min after they took her. They REFUSED!!! I had to PAY to get my dog BACK!!!!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT GO!!!!!

I have found this place to be very reasonable in price for veterinary care and I tend to like the way that they do business

Confused: are they Shady Grove Animal Hospital or Guadalupe Animal Hospital? Looked up Guadalupe and thought that's where we were going- talk to staff three different times on the phone and was never told that they were at a different location and under a different name. WHY NOT UPDATE YOUR WEB PAGE. Front desk person was cranky when these questions were asked. Our dog was brought in for updated rabies shot to get a grooming later, when called back later, Groomers out for 2 or 3 weeks! Will not be going back, and I don't think they would even care. Glad for the opportunity to share my experience.

I love this animal hospital. They have saved my cats life three times. He gets urinary track infections. They took great care of him. They have took care of my chow as well. They are reasonable and give great care. I have referred several friends over the last 14 years and we have never had any complaints about the prices or the care.

I would not go to any other veterinarian. They are absolutely the best that I have ever encountered in my 68 years. Sabrina at the front desk is is the best customer service agent that I have ever encountered. She is knowledgeable in all areas and she is absolutely the best.

I'm reviewing the new owners of the shady Grove animal hospital who were at the Guadalupe clinic. I've been going to this vet including at the old location, for a couple of years with my elderly dogs At different times they've had some pretty severe problems including being mauled by a neighbor's aggressive dog that was not on a leash and having to be stitched up. I used to go to one of the other DFW area chain veterinary practices but ran into problems during covid when appointments were hard to get and prices increased greatly. I've been very happy with the level of care and also the very affordable pricing at this vet. You don't get pushed to do unnecessary and expensive tests and I have been very satisfied.

Disgusting business practices and horrible customer service. These people do not deserve your business in any way. We called over a week an a half in advance to board our dog and they confirmed they could hold him. My wife called the day before to make sure and confirm and they said they can’t actually hold him, there is nothing they could do, and they were not doing anything to remedy the situation. Just terrible. Do not use the vet.

Don’t go to this vet !!!! It’s the dr from Guadalupe animal hospital I guess they changed because of how much bad reviews they had if you want to read more about them you can still search them up. Let me start with I’ve never been more upset about a place to where I HAD to write a review but this place is awful from what I’ve read. The dr is known to be very money hungry and has treated pets so carelessly. I brought my month old puppy because she had some abscess on her feet that looked very bad. The staff was pretty nice but when the dr came in to look at her he grabbed her so aggressively and just started to squeeze her leg no problem there honestly but then he grabbed some wipes and harshly started to scrub the area. He proceeded to ask us if she was biting herself and we told him no she’s only a month old she’s still very gentle and her teeth aren’t even fully grown in yet after he finished cleaning her he asked if we had something to put over her mouth like if he was referring to a mussel i then told him no because I didn’t think that was the cause of this she wasn’t biting herself he then tells me “well how else do you think she got this” and totally just made it seem like I didn’t know anything but I did know that wasn’t the cause. Just overall bad experience there are so many reviews that say after taking them to him their pets have passed or even got sicker so please DONT COME HERE !!

They have given my 16 year old cat a wonderful life after treating for diabetes. She's wonderful now. Thank you Shady Grove Animal Hospital!

Great place, amazing and friendly staff, definitely recommend!

Receptionist was rude. I had an unvaccinated puppy and she didn't earn me of the dog that had parvo and had vomited on the floor. I just happened to overhear the staff. Also there was urine on the floor and I couldn't put my animal anywhere. Small waiting area was packed.

The Vet is the BEST in Irving! He's ALWAYS been wonderful taking care of My Annie ????!!! He's definitely not in the business because of the money, he truly loves animals. Annie is My Support Dog. I trust him entirely to treat her for ANY reason I would take her in. He's never turned anyone away because lack of money. He will work with you He's such a kind Man!

Convent and Dr. GORMANand his staff are really GREAT

They are a wonderful group of people. They truly care about all three of my dogs. The vet is a wonderful guy, and his staff is amazing too. They are all just as sweet as they can be. Plus, they only charge $34 to was my German Shepherd. Most places want a minimum of $75 to groom him. I will continue to take all of my pets to them as long as I live within an hour or two hour drive from my house to their office.

They take great care of my four dachshunds.
