Dr. Kang and the staff at O'Connor Animal Hospital were friendly and took great care of my dog. When I called to check on my dog after surgery, Dr. Kang personally got on the phone and let me know that everything went great.

Convenient location and the basic service is okay, but there are often communication issues and the doctor and staff don't seem to care too much.

I chose O'Conner animal hospital because of the way they answered my questions about vaccinations/neuter questions on my adult cat. They answered all my questions and were empathetic about my concerns. When they called to confirm my appointment they didn't seem upset when i cancelled my neuter and only came in for vaccinations. The vet techs and Dr were really great and my cat was so comfortable and did not cry with it being his first time ever at the vet. I will be coming back for yearly visits!

This review is only to share our recent experience on laparoscopic spay surgery. We lost our puppy 24hrs after laparoscopic spay surgery. I do see another review somewhat implying they lost their puppy. I’m not saying this surgery is bad but asking you to please do your due diligence on exploring your options on your beloved puppy’s spay surgery. Any surgery has risks associated. There are pros and cons of traditional and laparoscopic spay surgery. We chose laparoscopic spay because we heard it was less painful but never imagined it could take our puppy’s life away. Our puppy could have been too weak to handle this but we will never know. Anyways please consult with your veterinarian before making your decision. Some may recommend and some may not. We decided solely based on internet search but there were many more risks that we weren’t aware of.

Simple the best, our dog is always happy and personal take care of him, staff and Drs.

Dr. Kang and the staff are always willing to help me with my most off the wall requests for care for the community cats that call my house their base. Everyone there listens and is compassionate. O'Conner Animal Hospital is a great friend to the homeless animals in Irving. The medical care and advice is excellent. I like that they see each pet is different and work with the many different pet personalities/ temperments they see instead of thinking all cats/dogs are like this and one way of interacting fits all.

They were very professional and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Their customer service was awesome. I highly recommend them!

I recently posted a review of my dog having a bruise around her neck area which was large. However, the office reached out to me via cell and explained the reason was due to blood work being done via the jugular, which I completely understand now. So just wanted to say thank you to the staff for reaching out to me. They are friendly and extremely professional.

This man does a laparoscopic spay that will kill your pet I went to a nearby emergency vet who said they see his patients all the time come in from complications

Large waiting area with lots of room to spread out. Equipment looked new and well maintained. Staff were friendly and the Vet listened to my concerns and took care of my doggo.

I want to thank the team, the entire team at this place. Dr. Kang is the best. I don't know the name of the ppl who took after Sachi but thank you. I know you added more time for her. I think she would like to say turn the air down, and thank you for a longer life. R.I.P.

Been coming here for the last four years! I love the doctors here they are so quick to see me and take appointments the day you ask for them! They’re actually concerned about your pet and have been a great service. They take such good care of my dog!

Dr Kang is great! You can tell he cares about animala.. he is direct and too the point.. no mincing of words. Just tge facts! A little pricey but I know my girls are in good hands.

Amazing care. They helped my eleven pound dog with a growth on her mouth, when six other vets couldn't. Other vets tried to scare me into paying thousands, these professionals only cared about helping my little one. They deserve a thousand stars.

I really appreciate the care the doctor & his team gave my cat during her surgery. She is on her way to a full recovery. I will be using them for all my future pet care.

Dr.Kang is the best, he does what’s best for your pet!! I’m super finicky about my dog Jasper and wouldn’t take him anywhere else. The staff and Dr.Kang are all around amazing!!!

It is a hospital that takes an hour round trip from my house by car, but I am always grateful for Dr. Kang's high level of medical care, always smiling and kindly answering any questions parents have, and the medical staff and staff who answer accurately and kindly, and the medical expenses I am really grateful for. Dr. Kang and staff are wonderful. We had to board our dog for a week. Per request they bathed him, updated him on his vaccines and cared for him like their own. Very reasonably priced.

Love this vet, they always take great care of my pets!
