Worst customer service and every time we take our dogs (even for comprehensive exams) they always find around $200-$300 of stuff that we “need.” Mind you we pay them $50 a month already in pet insurance per dog. Don’t waste your time or money with this place….

Banfield "used" to be a great place to take my pets. That is NOT the case any longer. They have a revolving door with their employees, I don't recognize anyone anymore. When my pets need attention from the Vet, I have to wait 2+ weeks before I can take them in. I NEVER get to see or speak with the actual Vet. I had the full healthcare package for both of my cats which includes UNLIMITED doctor visits but what good does that do if you can't get your pet in to see the Vet? I was always pushed to buy some sort of medication Everytime I went in. Even if all that was being done was a nail trim, some how they always found a problem with my pets and despite having coverage on them, it still cost MORE money. I would be charged EXTRA if more than one tech had to trim my cat's nails which obviously a cat isn't going to sit still, so it always took another person, so I was always charged extra. It was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and if you did get someone, you were immediately put on hold. Banfield is more interested in selling you meds than actual pet care. And even if you cancel your membership, they still get ya on the backside cause you're under contract. I cut my losses, paid off the $400+ contract and took my cats to All Community Vital Care in Porter. Much better experience!!!

Great service, but they take off way before their official closing time. I came in at 2 on a Monday to get my pet his prescription and the lady at the desk had closed the hospital. Other Petsmart employees said she was there earlier but she just closed and vanished.

The doctors are great, they take their time and explain to you what's going on with your furry family member. The staff working with the customers varies from day to day. Sometimes they are super rude and unprofessional, other times they act like they are the kindest human on earth who would do absolutely anything for you. I would say it was a bad day, but my family has been in so many times on random occasions, it's too consistent with their personalities to be a bad day scenario. If you order medicine and they don't have it, they can ship it too your house. Cool, right? Unless they don't want too. Then you will wait the two weeks, or longer to get it, for it to not show up. Then you have to call tjem to ask what's going on, and they simply say LOL we forgot to have it shipped out. So, really, unless you have to deal with the front a lot. This place is worth it. Otherwise, maybe try a different Banfield.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My dog went instantly and they took care of all our needs. Prices were affordable and the staff worked with us on all options to see what was best for our need.

Took my French Bulldog in at 3 months old.. They started her shots and and flea and heart worm prevention and spayed her when she was old enough.. The employees there are sweet as can be.. Of course I don't like dropping my dog off now be cause of COVID and we live so far away.. So I wait for her in the store until their done, but they know I'm waiting and they speed her through faster.. Sweeeet people!!

Banfield Hospital has saved all of our 4 dogs & 2 cats lives. When I 1st took our kitten & 3 dogs that we found they were all so sick. The staff helped me with everything I needed. We have no idea where we would be without them. This past April we found a puppy she was gravely ill she had Parvo. I've never dealt with Parvo before. Our puppy had a 25% of survival. By the 4thday she was eating, drinking & barking. We were so thankful for Dr Phillips & the nurses at Banfield. Our Lucy survived a deadly disease if we didn't find her she would have died an extremely painful death in tge streets.

I have been to several Banfield’s due to the convenience of all their different locations while still having access to my pets records. HOWEVER, and this is a huge however - I will NEVER be returning. Banfield is the absolute worst vet services. They over charge like crazy, you can go in for a simple check up and come out with an $800 bill because they took tests and gave shots without authorization first. They over sell a pets condition, I was told my coughing pitbull had heart worms and would die within months if I did not get him treated, which was minimum 3k. I took them to another vet and they told me he doesn’t even have heart worms, it’s been 2 years and my baby is still in good health. Now with my second pitbull, he ate a blanket that caused some blockage. At the beginning of my visit they stated they would need to take X-rays but this could be part of a wellness plan, however when I came to pick him up they hit me with a $500 bill. I told them I couldn’t afford $500 right now and they told me to get a CareCredit Card. They said he will need surgery and gave me a few vets but they were all extremely expensive. When I told them I could not afford their bill let alone a surgery - they offered no solutions or alternatives and sent me on my way. So I could pay 5k or my dog would die. It was only on my own accord that I found non-profits that would help. On a second minor note, the front desk on several occasions is very unprofessional. I heard her openly cussing about her boss with her coworker complaining she had to be there an hour past her time. She then went on to talk poorly about a patients owner. This all happened in the front desk openly and loudly. Do not go here. You, your pet, and your wallet will all regret it.

I just love Banfield period! I needed to get my dog's heart worn meds and was not going to make it to my regular location before they closed. They were awesome and checked the records and was able to assist with getting me the meds. Great customer service in my eyes. Thank you!!

My dog crossed the rainbow bridge today. I had her longer than my kids and my husband. She was family. Let me tell you, Bansfield was the ultimate blessing to both of us. Not only were they super sweet to me, they sang to little Karma, served her a "last meal," hugged her and treated her like she was their own. We had a little funeral service in that room and I couldn't be more grateful. They gave exceptional care to both me and little Karma.. I would write more but it literally just happened and I'm emotionally overloaded. I couldn't recommend them more. A true blessing.

Waited over 20 minutes each visit just to be acknowledged then at least another 15 before being helped. They have one desk employee who was overwhelmed. I was sent home with the incorrect antibiotic. Prescription sticker (doxycycline) was for a completely different antibiotic than the box (ZydaClin)

We have had the Banfield annual plan for both our dogs for 2 years and we are not impressed with the Humble, TX location! They were there for their 6 month services.. Also, one of my dogs caught his nail and it was hanging and he was in a lot of pain. They made us leave our dogs there most of the day. I called to check on them and they had taken his nail off without discussing it or pain medicine. His foot was bloody and not cleaned or bandaged. It looked like they pulled it without any pain medication! I asked about them bandaging it and they said that would be $35!? Plus their blood tests were never discussed with us nor did they give us any accounting of their visit except for a rabies certificate.

We love the staff, here, at Banfield Pet Hospital in Humble! Stevie is an absolute gem! She was so patient, attentive, and helpful as I called asking a million questions about my pets’ upcoming spay procedures. Her customer service, as well as everyone else’s on the team, is exceptional! You can tell that they genuinely care about you and your pets and try to ensure you have a great experience. Thank you for all that you do! Keep up the stellar work!

I cannot thank this office enough for the care and compassion they have for my pup. We have been using this office for 7 years, Dr. Phillips, Dr. Chavez, and Dr. Swan, and the entire office staff are absolutely amazing. They have always been empathetic and understanding, and take the time to communicate and educate during every visit. We had an emergency today, and Shannon (whom I’m confident loves my pup as much as we do) and the docs were able to squeeze him in last minute. My husband said that Shannon gave our pup a hug when he was brought in, which means so much to me. I wouldn’t trust him with any other office. Thanks for being so awesome!

Great experience. Staff is always friendly, and it's a struggle getting my dog out of there due to all the hugs and kisses he receives.
