Love this vet so much! Everyone has been so kind every time I call, each vet has been very thoughtful, and I don’t feel like I’m being sold something every time I go. My puppy was having digestive issues, and after our visit the vet personally called us later in the day to recap what we discussed and next steps. My puppy goes to daycare there too and is always so excited to see the workers :) Prices seem reasonable compared to other vets as well!

What an excellent veterinarian clinic. They are flexible with scheduling and offer a wide variety of services - doggie daycare is a favorite of my dog! The added benefits are great, but it is the care and clarity of the veterinarians that I am really deeply appreciative of. The vets are knowledgeable, competent, and make sure to take time to explain what is going on with the animals in a way that makes sense. I also really appreciate that the front desk staff checks in on us a few days after I bring an animal in. Speaking of the front desk staff, they’re friendly and professional. All around, this is just a really wonderful place.

I'm impressed!! This vet was recommended by a good friend of mine. My mom has reached the point in her life when she can no longer take care of the cat. So I took the cat here for an exam to have her shots updated. Dr. Mitchell was SO sweet and professional and thorough. She has a new lady on staff that just started this week who was very professional and walked me through the exam. They have everything set up for social distancing: you wait in your car, they come get your pet bring them out once they're done. Dr. Mitchell called me once the exam was over and explained everything. Her tone of voice was warm and friendly and she made me feel very confident that the cat was well taken care of. This place is about 25 minutes out of my way but due to this experience I will likely start bringing my dog here too. They also have an excellent boarding option I will be using.

Incredible care, compassion, and expertise. I have had an incredible experience with this office. My new puppy (and first ever dog) had a mysterious unexplainable medical problem just 24 hours after I got him, and Dr. Dodge in particular was immensely compassionate, kind, and skilled in caring for him and in her interactions with me. He made a full recovery, in large part due to her help and the help of the staff here. I won't go anywhere else from here on out.

They are efficient and very caring. The staff and doctors were extremely professional and gave me confidence that my dog was receiving the very best of care. I have had dogs for 50 years so have experienced many veterinarian practices. They are top tier and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had called a number of vet offices to see our Mindy who was becoming severely dehydrated. They fit us in super quick and seemed to care so much for our baby. The vet did a thorough job and wanted to know all the details. We will be coming back again. Hoping our pup feels better soon.

This clinic is co-owned by a veterinarian I used to work for, who is one of the most thorough and kindest vets I’ve worked with or taken my critters to. The vets my dog and cat have seen here have also been thorough and kind, and communication with the techs and staff has been excellent.

We adore Dr. Mitchell and the entire staff — they take such great care of my pups, very thorough in all processes and I know we are in the best care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Amy Alexander waited for us (even though clinic was closing in a few minutes) as we rushed over with an emergency involving our puppy German Shepherd. She was kind and prompt and thorough and very patient. Calvin was in great hands, and we were so thankful everything was resolved. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for waiting for us to arrive and for staying after hours to get Calvin taken care of!

Both of my dogs are under routine care with Dr Alexander. She is very caring and knowledgeable. She offered more options and explanation than our previous vet who could not determine the cause of our dog’s itchiness and flaking. We don’t know yet the full cause but it is much better and under control now. The technicians are also very helpful and friendly. I hope they do more training for their front desk staff as I’ve come in multiple times and it’s as if I’m a bother, no smile, their greeting is monotonous, but other patients come in and they’re all “heeeeyyyyyy whaaaaasuuuppppp omg it’s been so loooonng!!!” And then they turn to me and go “k I can check you out now.”

I highly suggest using Amy (Dr. Alexander). She’s incredibly intuitive and so caring with our dog. He’s a healthy and happy 10-year-old lab because of her. He gets so excited when we tell him we’re heading to the vet! The office is so friendly and accommodating too.

Love Dr. German and staff. Friendly, attentive to my dog and his history. Been with them 13 years despite moving farther away and trying other vets.

We have been bringing our dog Luna for vet services and daycare and our cat Willow for vet services since approximately June/July 2019 and we couldn’t be happier at the services provided. Dr. Alexander is patient and never rushes through the consult and has even answered my questions when I run into her when dropping off our puppy at daycare. Also the front desk staff is superb!! They always greet us by name and call us immediately if they have any concerns. I also love that they post Instagram pictures and stories featuring the daycare dogs. It always makes my day to see Luna on there ☺️ Thanks Village Vet! ????❤️????

Great low coast pet care, friendly staff, my dog was delighted

My pets receive the best care from the doctors and staff here. I always receive prompt and courteous attention when I have questions. Dr. Mitchell goes above and beyond for her patients and I feel extremely comfortable leaving my furry friends there.

This is a dangerous place! They not only cannot take good care of animals, they damage them! We unfortunately let them take of our cat for two weeks during the summer, and got back exclusively home animal severely infested with fleas. The year before they tried to fleece us claiming that our animal has tapeworms, while it is EXCLUSIVELY home cat. During last visit they brutally held our down to the point that her ear started to bleed. If you care for your pet DO NOT GO THERE!

Village Vet & Pet Resort is the best! They have a super friendly staff that does an amazing job taking care of my pup in daycare, boarding, and for grooming! Highly recommend. My pup always leaves very happy!

We love bringing our pets to the Village Vet & Pet Resort. We have cats and a dog and they have all received excellent care. Not only are the veterinarians and staff extremely smart and resourceful, but they are also sympathetic and true animal lovers. We had an elderly cat that was very sick, and the team at Village Vet went above and beyond to make him comfortable. Dr. Alexander in particular was absolutely amazing, so sharp and so sweet with all of our animals. We are so thankful to have found a vet that we can trust with our fur babies!!

Dr. Alexander is the absolute best. When I first moved to Houston, my dog had gained 20 lbs in just a few short weeks. My vet in GA told me that I would need to put him to sleep. Dr. Alexander was able to figure out what was going on with him and get him back to being healthy. She helped guide us through his senior years, so we could give him the best possible life. Just recently, after 15 years, we knew he was struggling and it would be time to say goodbye. Dr. Alexander was so compassionate not only towards our sweet boy but also towards us. She truly cares and it shows. We have already referred family members to her and we will be returning to her whenever the time is right for us to get another dog.

Dr. Rhonda Mitchell, Dr. Byron Germann and Dr. Dodge and The Village Vet and Pet Resort have been an extended family to me and several of my dogs over a minimum of the last 10 years. Dr. Mitchell previously consulted with human and animal dermatologist to ensure my dog received the most efficient treatment and care for his horrible skin allergies, which was then nick-named the "Buck Spa Treatment". Dr. Mitchell has also referred me to the best surgeon, not simply the most expensive related to TPLO for knee repair, root canal and severe skin issues with all of my favorite furry friends. Five years ago when my current best buddy and I adopted one another, Dr. Mitchell once again went above and beyond to resolve his severe skin lesions, trauma and allergies. CeCe, Monique, Stephanie and the entire staff with Village Vet and Pet Resort are always efficient and pleasant. Any pet that is truly loved deserves the attention, devotion and care received from The Village Vet and Pet Resort.

I absolutely love Village Vet. It feels great that the staff always greets my dogs by their names. The facility is very nice and clean. The doctors are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile for my pups. Dr. Alexander is especially amazing! We followed her from a previous clinic to this one and we are so glad we did! Your babies are always in great hands here!
