I have had my dog there for both boarding and day care. The staff at Paws Paradise are very easy to work with. My dog loves it there and is well taken care of during her stays. The place is clean and orderly.

This place caused someone to allegedly have their dog die. It’s a horror story of finding their dog in ice water, I guess because they thought it would save the dog that they allegedly overheated. Horrified owner posted about it on next-door and other people say they have had bad experiences. Just because everyone didn’t have a bad experience doesn’t mean your dog won’t. It’s not worth it. Don’t risk your pet’s life!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!!! I lost my sweet babygirl Lucy Lu due to incompetent people who own this business. PLEASE READ!!!!!! I boarded my Lucy on Sept. 17th - 20th of 2021 and went to pick her up from the boarding house and found her lifeless body in a tub of ice water, the owner was screaming that we need to get her to the ER, he also stated that she was only outside for 30 mins, which I know is a lie, she plays out at the dog park for 45 mins and doesn't get overheated like this. She was rushed to the ER and they started working on her immediately, but the next day her health started deteriorating, her organs were starting to shut down. The critical care unit did everything they could but she was too far gone. She ended up passing away from a heat stroke. I asked the owner of the boarding house for the camera footage and he stated that his cameras were broken.... My baby was in perfect health prior to this. Just wanted everyone to be aware, so this doesn't happen to your fur babies!!!!

Extremely Disappointed about this place, took my dog to get a haircut and she ended up tired exhausted and her hair completely messed up. People like this shouldn’t be close to animals. They only care about their money and growing their businesses. How can you do that to a helpless animal? SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!

My dogs haircut was not ok what I asked for and he had knots everywhere. I will go back to my prior grooming place.

Jose and staff do an excellent job looking over my 1 year old lab, he loves going to daycare everyday!

Brought my dog for a bath and nail trim along with a full body trim. I’m so happy with the results. Petsmart does not handle my dog well and refuses to dry him because they say he’s scared of the dryer. This place did a phenomenal job and my dog is scent free compared to the wet dog smell post- petsmart. His trim looks great! Reviewing again a year later: I can't say enough good things about this place. The groomers are SO sweet with my pup. I don't take him anywhere else for grooming! His skin is soft and supple and coat is left soft and smelling amazing. They did a great job trimming his nails and paw fur. Amazing customer service. Jose and everyone else is very friendly and remember me and my dog each time I come.

Wouldn't take my girl anywhere else. Fairly priced for River Oaks. Highly recommend them.

We moved to this area right before Covid-19 hit our country. For this reason, our 6lb Shih Tzu had not been groomed for 6 months. We searched for a new place to take her and came across Paw Paradise with great reviews. The first time we took her, the guy groomer told us that it would be an extra $15 because she had so many knots. We thought the price was fair and she looked so cute when he was done. 2 months later, we take her back for a full groom. Marianne (not sure of the spelling, lady groomer) called me and told me Fancy had knots on her and I explained to her to just give her a groom that I didn’t want to spend the extra money. About an hour later, Jose texts me a video and and shows me knots on Fancy and we told them to go ahead and take them out and we will pay. When we came to pick up Fancy, she told me it was $81.17. For what? Last time is was $60 for the same service. Fancy was way worse the first time. It is like they are charging us for 2 groomings for a small Shih Tzu. She said we shouldn’t have waited 2 months to bring Fancy in. We are so upset. She tried to tell us that PetSmart chargers more and we said we didn’t bring our Fancy to PetSmart. If you want to go there, the guy groomer is way better, ask for him instead. EDIT: I do not like bringing a company down by bad reviews. Especially when they respond back. So, I changed my stars from 2 to 4, because Jose responded back to me quickly. However, there is a lack of communication. When the first time we went in, I did not know that they charged extra for taking knots out, that is why they gave me a discount, not because we were new. But they were only going to charge $15. This time, when Jose sent the text, he should have clarified pricing for us. This way, when we go in and pick up our pet, we are not surprised and do not have to go through this. And no, not every groomer charges extra. We paid $60 every time and it never changed. Thank you for responding Jose. We do appreciate this and we are happy to continue doing business with Paw Paradise, because you and your male groomer does such a wonderful job.

I’ve been searching for a good groomer for my mini poodle since I moved to Houston 3 years ago. She is highly allergic and is very sensitive to clippers on her face. I’m so happy to have found Paws Paradise last month. It is located 5 min. from my home. They are reliable, fast and cut Zoey’s hair exactly as I described and paid attention to her sensitivities. They also groomed my daughter’s Cavachon puppy. But I’ll let her post her own review. This will be my go to groomer for Zoey!

This was my first time taking my three dogs here. I have a mini schnauzer, yorkie, and morkie and all three look fabulous! I called in the morning and they were able to get all dogs in on the same day! The value, price and customer service were all top notch! I will be returning! Thank you so much!!

I brought my corgi, Dutch, here for daycare since we needed to move from one neighborhood to another and I’m very happy with the service! Staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean. Convenient parking, great rates, and easy to schedule!

The Paws Paradise is a wonderful place to take your pup for a terrific groom!!! It is clear that Jose loves her clients!! Tedi didn’t even want to leave when I went to pick her up. When was the last time that happened?? My new go to for Tedi’s fluffy hair.

I love this place. I brought my dog son Benji in for a wash and cut. They took care of him properly. His haircut is so adorable. They also treated us with great customer service. And offered good advice towards Benjis wellness & healthcare. I will definitely be coming back here from now on. Still amazing!

As soon as I contacted to bring my Pomeranian in for a full service groom for his first time they responded quick and got me in within 15 min , I love the outcome of my Pom appearance after his groom . Highly recommend reasonable pricing , they have earned me as a new consistent customer

I was looking for a new groomer for my dog and after seeing the reviews I decided to take her to The Paw Paradise. First of all they didn't have my appointment right, I spoke on the phone with a gentleman a week before my app and he created my app but for the wrong day, luckily they were available. When giving some instructions about how I wanted my dog to be groomed I specifically said just trim her tail keeping the same shape, oh surprise when I picked her up! her tail was cut terribly! and her chest was uneven I asked why she did it! her answer was I'm sorry. I know is a dog but is like my child for me and no body likes to see their child being chopped up from the hairdresser. I was so mad but I chose to leave because nothing was going to change. While driving I noticed that one of her eyes was crying so I called back to let her know, I was going to return but I got stuck in traffic thank god my dog was fine after few hours.
