We are very happy with the kitten we got from Jane. He is healthy, beautiful and has a sweet personality!

Jane welcomed myself and my two daughters in her beautiful home to visit her kittens. I have been scammed by pet sellers before and was unwilling to purchase a pet sight unseen and she was most understanding and accommodating! I personally believe you should try to purchase pets locally and from a reputable source. Jane, for me, was local and reputable. She was honest about the pricing and it was consistent with other breeders of the same breed. Our little guy was extremely friendly and adaptable! We had zero transition issues and we came home with instructions and a record of vet care.

This is after 2 months, she came to our home. She has a good character, lovely and playful. She already knew how to use litter box when she first came. The Seller, Jane, is very helpful and attentive. This is the first time we have a cat; she helped us a lot in determine what to feed our baby and how to take care for her. Ignore the hateful comment as Jane is a little bit different than regular breeder, but all she tried is to help the cat go to the right people that willing to take care and love them. One more thing, she has good health when she came to us.

Jane is very good breeder, she knows what to do to keep kittens healthy and well train before they go home with their new owner. We had a great experience purchasing a beautiful white British shorthair cat through Jane. We live in the Los Angeles area and Jane arranged everything from A to Z to transport our little cat Thor from Houston to LAX. We later got his pedigree information and our family couldn’t be happier as he’s a terrific cat. We’re considering purchasing another cat from Smiling British shorthair as they are an excellent breed.

Our experience with Jane was excellent. Living in the Houston area, Jane allowed us to meet the kitten prior to committing to a $200 deposit. She sent us a contract a few weeks before we picked up our kitten, along with a kitten care document. On the day of pick up the remaining balance was due with an $85 handling fee that was agreed to in the contract. We followed her advice in introducing the kitten to our oldest resident cat and we couldn't have hoped for better! Our cat and the kitten are now best friends. We have since had her for about 3 weeks and she has been taken to the vet for booster shots. Our vet stated that our new kitten is beautiful and in excellent health! We are very happy with our kitten and all of Jane's help!

We got our "Echo" from Jane- and cannot even express the perfection of this baby. He is the most beautiful kitten I have ever seen- and the personality to match! You can tell how much love and care Jane pours into her kittens. Absolutely 5⭐ cattery. Could not be more in love!

Jane is a very good seller. She is very enthusiastic and responsible. Because it was my first time to have a cat, she patiently told me how to take care of the cat and gave me a lot of convenience. I was very excited and happy to find this breeder on TICA because I have loved British short hair cats for sometime following them on fb and other internet sites, and the opportunity had come up to finally bring one of these precious fur babies into our loving home. I spoke with owner Jane about visiting and the process, price and such. After a few of my questions answered , she asked if I was a cat breeder and then stated she thought I was a cat breeder. I was completely surprised by these bizarre questions and statements, and could not fathom why she would think such a thing. I am not nor have I ever been a breeder of cats or anything in my life. The next night after our conversation, which happened to be the night before I was supposed to go and meet my precious , new fur baby , Jane called and left me a voicemail stating that she had spoken with her partner and they decided (unfoundedly) that I was a cat breeder, (??) and so they did not want me to come to the appointment and there would be no sale. I cannot express the extent of the utter shock, weirdness and sadness I felt by such an unfounded accusation, and more sadly the loss of my opportunity to have and give my sweet, new, longed for, beautiful kitten a most loving and happy life with us, because of this owner’s judgemental and discriminatory imagination. I am not quite sure what is amiss with this cattery but something is definitely not quite right..

Hello, I am Jane. This review is to clearify the confusion and misunderstanding from Dana Vincent. We do Appreciate her strong Desire to buy our beautiful cat. However, we apologize that we are not able to sell our cat to her at this time. We have already Refunded her reservation fee $ 200. (paypal transaction id XXX....36602 and transaction id XXX....67114E ). Also we Never signed any contract nor any agreement with her either. We wish her Best Luck to find another same high quality cat as ours.

Amazing, nice and very helpful breeder. We are so lucky to be in the same city with this breeder and happened to give it a try to visit her place. We met our baby, Momo and felt in love with her at first sight. The baby has now been with us …

SMILING BRITISH SHORTHAIRS reneged on our agreement. Jane accepted my deposit for the spayed female, ELA, and promised orally and in numerous texts to send a contract and it never came. Jane then decided after accepting my deposit she did not like the price she had set and backed out. Very disappointing. Unfortunately her word is definitely not her bond.
