Maya and the team were absolutely incredible. Alex agreed to take Daisy in super last minute when I was going out of town for vacation, even volunteering to keep her a few extra days so I could come in on my day off for the follow up session. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, informative and great with the pups. If you’ve ever been thinking about training for your dog, it is SO worth it. The immersive training gives you a completely new dog.

This place is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and flexible, making sure the training is right for the entire family. They have certaiy changed our lives for the better. We have a former "difficult to manage " rottweiler who has now become our most well behaved dog. We considered investing in the best fencing solutions possible but were so impressed by our first encounter with Sit Means Sit that we chose training instead. Now it is us humans who are learning. I am so happy with our choice.

I stopped by Sit Means Sit in Katy this past week to inquire about the dog training services. I met with B-Nice and he explained all the services and dog training packages to me. He was friendly, professional, answered all my questions. I pick up my rescue dog in a couple of weeks and will definitely come back and sign my dog up for some training. So glad I stopped in!

Not sure how well their training is but their customer service is past poor. We made two consultation appointments. The first one for 2pm..We showed up and Alex was already with a client (doing a consultation - so he double booked). We waited the 45 minutes and we finally rescheduled. We came the second time for a 3pm appointment. There was an email sent to confirm appointment - my Husband mentioned the issue from the previous week and Alex assured him out was all good. Well, we get there and he's AGAIN with a client. The worst part of this company disrespecting my time is while we wait on a VERY HOT waiting area Alex walks by on BOTH visits and doesn't acknowledge us.... Unfortunately I'll never know how great his service is but his professionalism is extremely lacking UNLESS it was because he didn't want to cater to my family for some other reason.

Left a voicemail then called a second time before reaching someone. Was told that I would receive a text message giving the time and place for the consultation but never received it.

Initially when I came in for a consultation with Toby back in February, was impressed with the things that could help Toby and his behavior. HP came and did a demo with Toby and another gentlemen came after and pitched us the different types of lesson we could move forward with. I forget his name but he almost looks like Patrick Dempsey. During the consultation, what MADE my boyfriend and I sign was the fact that Sit Means Sit offered a payment plan option that can be payed within a year, we just needed a $100 deposit to schedule the first appointment. I had a trip to Denver that approached in March and waited to pay that deposit after my trip. When it was paid, the girl I spoke to said I was all set and I would get an email regarding an appointment confirmation and receipt for my payment. When I returned, that’s when COVID came about and lockdown was placed and I cancelled the appointment with concern about COVID. Today when I dropped off Toby for his lesson. Someone mentioned about payment that needed to be collected and I asked what it was about because I elected to do the 1 year payment plan and if I could push the payment back, the guy said yes and took Toby and said someone will speak with me about it when I pick Toby up. Well, my boyfriend and I picked up Toby, went through the lesson that he learned and I asked about the payment and what it was about. HP, said firmly that the payment cannot be pushed back and you guys were no longer doing a year payment plan and that it was actually set up through SQUARE which they are no longer doing due to COVID. HP also mentioned that a link was “for sure” sent to me for me to sign up but no where was that previously mentioned to me in ANY emails nor in person during my consultation. HP did offer to do a two month payment plan but it was short notice considering the fact that we were initially offered a YEAR to then now, two months. HP also said it was awhile and no payment has been made yet and well, of course, again we chose to do a payment plan AND why would I start paying when training hasn’t even started yet? HP swore that he mentioned it and HE was the one who met with us, in which he did, however it was just for the training techniques with Toby but he did not go over any financials with my boyfriend and I. It was the other gentlemen who looks like Patrick Dempsey (I seriously apologize for not remembering his name). HP then said for now, we can cancel the future appointments, took the e-collar back and we awkwardly walked out. I am honestly extremely disappointed how the situation was handled. I am trying to understand from a business standpoint that we have to pay, which I have every intent of doing however, it was never communicated about the SQUARE link that was never emailed was no longer valid, if you offer some type of deal or payment option to someone back in February, I believe it should be honored. HP offered to refund me my deposit but after I sent him the email typed above ^^, HE responded twisting my words and then said he refunded my deposit of $100 but applied to his staff that trained Toby (my dog) for the day. Im not even upset about the $100, I already assumed it was non-refundable and after the lesson I got, I truly think his staff deserves it but dont say you're gonna refund it when you're not. I feel sorry for his staff who have to put up with him. ANYWAY, I found alternative training lessons that have BETTER reviews and cost way less. Alternative Dog Training LESSONS: 1. K9 Off Leash 2. It has taken me a while to write this review. We brought Pepper here for board and train, she FELL IN LOVE! She never felt like she was "working" and was excited for every session with Mindy, Dustin, and the crew! Unfortunately, she passed away before finishing all of her sessions. She was so well behaved, listened more, and enjoyed every minute of being there. I refer sit means sit to everyone I know!

I am very pleased with how well my dog is doing in training at Sit Means Sit. The staff is obviously very knowledgeable and has a passion for dogs. They make an effort to know my dog and me. Eddie and I are both excited for every session and every class. I love the comprehensive services from boot camp to private sessions to group classes. They are even available via text for questions.

We would not be where we are today with Drama had it not been for Sit Means Sit. It was a lot of work but truly a life changing experience for us.

Honestly I cannot even begin to thank the staff of Sit Means Sit enough. They've given me peace of mind and a new way to communicate with my dog, Cash. I chose the board and train program for Cash after having anxiety and reactivity issues and WOW, when he came home he was definitely a different dog! Much calmer and much more easily managed. I looked at my purchase as an investment into me and my dog's well-being and saftey. During my time there I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mindy and Dustin who are EXCELLENT at what they do! I am by no means a dog trainer but they were always super patient with me and we problem solved together! Michael is also amazing and super kind! The staff overall at this location are great people and they always take the time to make you and your dog feel welcomed and at home. I will definitely stick to Sit Means Sit for all of my future dog training needs! Thanks guys!!!

Simply awesome Team at Sit Means Sit! Our 7 year old German Shepherd as well as our family are so much better. Our pup took to the training quickly. With the most important part being our behavior in maintaining training and discipline. The staff is helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating to our busy schedule. The Immersion and Group classes are excellent programs, with Group classes being super fun and a great way to reinforce training in settings outside of our typical day. Great value for the investment for sure, no doubt we'll be back and advance our training with our pup once our initial program ends.

Sit Means Sit helped us train our puppy from the time she was 4 months old. We were very impressed with the trainers, their techniques and how responsive our dog was to them. I would certainly recommend Sit Means Sit! Thank you HP & team!

We brought our dog, Doug to Sit Means Sit because he was having aggression issues with other dogs and aggressive play with us as a family. He also needed leash training. HP and Michael met us a his consultation and were nothing but kind and respectful. They showed us how a well trained dog can act. I signed up immediately and have had nothing but great experiences there. Mindy was our private trainer and she is super friendly great with Doug. All the staff have been wonderful and very responsive. HP has helped us tremendously. When Doug was having allergic issues he helped us with a different collar and tips that are non irritating. And when our remote stopped working, he loaned us HIS personal remote for his dog Kovu because they were out of remotes at the time and the delivery had not come in yet. He also remembers our names and makes a point of saying hello and asking about us even if he is not involved with our appointment that day. I would definitely recommend Sit Means Sit to all my family and friends.

I started training here with my dog Winter in Feb 2019 and honestly have nothing be good things to say about HP and the staff here. The improvements I have seen at the property are amazing and they really helped me with training me dog Winter. From basic obedience to off leash to learning how to swim and an introduction to dock diving! The community of dogs and owners they build here is top notch. The group class is really where all dogs and owners learn the skills they need for everyday life. I have seen the staff here work with all range of issues and turn dog behavior around. Great place, great people, great training. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I got a text asking me about an appointment that I didn’t make (I contacted this place in 2018 and barely got a response today...May 2020) and I said I wouldn’t be able to make it. The worker (Michael?) said: “you must be a ball of sunshine.” Very unprofessional.

PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING UP. I was blown away by the consultation and signed up bc the pitch was too good BUT take your time, research, READ THE REVIEWS. This place clearly has one star ratings due to a poor business owner not understanding business. He’s a great dog trainer I’m sure but base on the reviews, seems like he’s biting off more than he can chew. He’s rude and a money hungry person who can’t uphold his end of the bargain. His responses to my emails are rude and he has a tendency to manipulate the message. If you’re seeking training lessons, spare your fur baby and your money and go somewhere else. The owner doesn’t seem to have any respect for himself, fur babies or his staff.

I have to say, when we went to our free evaluation, I was definitely skeptical like any other dog parent. Shock collar? Eh, I don’t know. But we went through with it because we were at our wits end with Harry. He had a severe barking problem and was unable to take any type of direction using store bought products. After our FIRST class with HP, we immediately saw a positive change in his behavior. He now has 4 classes under his belt and is doing amazing. He can sit, stay, walk without pulling, but most importantly, he is able to be inside the house with our two smaller dogs. Scheduling has never been an issue, and the staff is responsive. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks to Sit Means Sit, not only are we more sane, but Harry has a better quality of life. Thank you guys!

I'm so glad that I took the chance and contacted Sit Means Sit for a free consultation with my 10 month old lab mix Hunter. With only a few private lessons, Hunter was 100% more attentive to commands and is noticeably more confident in himself. The best part is that he continues to get even better with weekly group classes. I'm excited to bring my rescue pup Kane, a 6 month old blue heeler, to Sit Means Sit so he can obtain the same, exceptional training!
