Office manager is one of the rudest, most disrespectful people I’ve ever met. Very unprofessional.

I would take my beloved dogs nowhere else. Dr. Lee has been seeing my pets for years, through healthy times, emergencies, end-of-life decisions. There is no one better for a combination of empathy/"bedside manner" and knowledge, along with state-of-art facility and wonderful staff.

Neartown is amazing and a great vet choice for the Midtown area! My cat was having leftover urinary tract issues from a trip to the vet ER and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get him checked in time without another expensive trip to the ER in one week. Neartown was able to get him checked out quickly to rule out any severe complications and my cat is doing amazing now.

Neartown has provided excellent care for my Brittany from puppy to senior.

We're in the process of moving two dogs and a cat to Germany, which is extremely complicated and stressful, and Neartown has been amazingly helpful, compassionate and efficient. I don't think we could do this without them! We've been going to Neartown for 15 years and we've only ever had the most wonderful service, but the past couple of weeks have endeared them to us for life.

I don't even know where to begin! Neartown is by far the most reliable, kind, caring, quality vet I've ever been to. Dr. Lee is a superstar and always takes such great care of our pup, Dakota! But what really stood out to us recently was the empathy we received when our pup had an unexpected emergency. Just 3 days after being neutered and receiving a gastropexy, our mischievous pup decided to swallow a cloth mask in one gulp. We rushed him to the vet 10 minutes before closing, where they tried to induce vomiting, but because of his post-op, anti-nausea meds, he wouldn't give. So off to the animal hospital we went, where Dr. Lee and a few of the vet techs from Neartown work! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Mette who knew Dakota from Neartown and wanted to check in on him. She was not assigned to his case at all, but spent all her free time over the next 24 hours hanging out with Dakota and making sure he was ok. When we picked him back up, with the mask still in his tummy, she gave us detailed instructions on what to look out for, what to do next, etc. Luckily, Dakota ended up passing the mask on his own without any medical intervention! Both Neartown and Vergi called us on multiple occasions to check in on Dakota in the days to follow. They absolutely went above and beyond when caring for our boy. We can't thank Neartown enough for loving our pup like he's their own.

Can't say enough good things about Neartown. We came back from a trip to find our sweet 17-lb Penny suffered a puncture wound somehow at her dogsitters'. We were stressing because it was almost 6pm and our primary vet wouldn't see her. We called Neartown and even though they were about to close and didn't know us, they took Penny in and patched her up and took such good care of her! A couple weeks and visits later and Penny is back to her happy and energetic self, and Neartown is her new primary vet! Can't recommend their whole thoughtful staff enough!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! We were out on a trip and our best friend had trauma down in his private area that was bleeding everytime he urinated. Prior to taking him to Neartown Animal Clinic we took him to two Vet Clinics. The two Vet clinics basically said to wait it out. Two Days later lots of blood is still being lost. That’s when we heard great things about Neartown Clinic and said let’s get another opinion. We scheduled an appointment Sarah and the Veterinarian helped him immediately. Prescribed the correct measurements and the NEXT DAY NO BLOOD!! Thank you guys soooo much! This is my new clinic!!! Very clean facility, positive environment, and great customer service and the front desk are amazing as well!

Wonderful animal clinic. Entire staff was friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly, handled our beloved pup with caring hands. Dr. Lee took her time during the examination and patiently answered all my questions. Our pup is shy and anxious around strangers and the vet techs came in quietly and won her over with slow pets (or the maybe treats they seemingly pulled out of every pocket...) No doubt, Neartown Animal Clinic will be our vet going forward.

Dr. Lee and staff are the best! Dr. Lee saved my cat Eugene's life several years ago and would go no where else but to Dr. Lee. She is very thorough and thoughtful and takes the time to explain any diagnosis as well as prospective treatment options. Just the best treatment possible for my best friend!

I was and am still thankful for the caring nature of you all. When I called there were no available appointments. Instead of pushing me off I was placed on a brief hold and then told yo would work us in. It wasn't expected, but I was grateful. Nothing seemed to be wrong with him, but they took the time to make sure we both were okay. On Monday morning, I was surprised by the phone call to follow up after our appointment. She listened to my thoughts and seemed to really care of my concerns. The doctor called back as promised and left a voicemail that really made me finally feel at ease. You guys are awesome! Guinness is doing better and we are trying to find a way to calm his anxiety rather than provoke it. I really appericate everything. My husband and I started bringing our Cavalier King Charles baby to Neartown about 7 months ago... Our furbaby had suffered with UTI's for about 2+ years on and off. Neartown was able to identify the specific antibiotics that would completely treat her UTI. After only 2 visits, she was cleared and hasn't had a single issue since. After a few months of working with Neartown, we cancelled our Banfield and have zero regrets. Dr. Lee and the entire team ALWAYS provide thorough, professional, compassionate, and proactive care to Sidney. And when you compare the cost of Neartown to how much we paid monthly for Banfield and the additional costs at Banfield, we are getting extremely better care and still saving money. This team is always thinking ahead to reduce urgent or extreme issues; but will always consult with us before ordering tests or anything. And most importantly, Sidney loves going to see them--goes in with a smile and comes out even happier!!! Neartown provides the quality care that we all expect from our doctors and healthcare providers.

Curbside service has been great and my cat is getting better with help from Neartown.

I’ve taken my small dog here twice in the last few months (during Covid). They have a drive up service, where you call on arrival and they take your pet from your car. The vet or technicians will call you if they have questions during the visit and to tell you how it went. They even bring a credit card machine to your car. The staff has been incredibly friendly, and they clearly genuinely love working with animals. The prices are comparable to other local clinics. I have every intention of continuing to bring my dog here.

My baby boy, Humo is an ASPCA rescue and at 3 months was skittish (absolutely terrified) of people. The wonderful staff there totally eased his (and my) anxieties. (Shout out to Dana!) As someone who's not blessed with riches, I know that there are lower cost options, but the true kindness, engagement and sincerity that we receive are priceless. I absolutely recommend Neartown. I'll never take my l'il munchkin anywhere else....

My only experience with Neartown has been with our one year old Corgi, Betsy Ross. We moved into Houston from Seabrook where we absolutely loved our vet. We decided to use a vet close to our Houston home when we got Betsy. Our Seabrook vet recommended Neartown and we have not been disappointed. Our experiences with Neartown have ALL been positive from Chelsey (Betsy's vet tech) to Dr. Lee (who noted an elevated liver enzyme which we treated and will continue to monitor). In addition, we have been pleasantly surprised with the very competitive costs that we have experienced at Neartown Animal Clinic. I highly recommend Neartown Animal Clinic!

Poor service, the staff and the appointments super disorganized. They got me waiting in the car without explanations I got there 10min before my appointment and half an hour after my appointment I still was waiting for them to pick up the dog, 5 dogs were attended before mine an I arrived first an at my appointment time. So, if you like a pretty place you will be delighted with this one, but. If you expect good service, don't waste your time, because if they don't achieve a simple schedule I don't want to imagine how accurate, detailed and good are the medical resources and personnel.

Wish I could give ten stars. I am new to the clinic but when I thought my cat broke his paw I called immediately & was at the clinic in less than five minutes. I was an absolute wreck. They took him from me right away & did an entire physical exam & came out to fill me in during. We were in & out in less than 30 minutes. Turns out he was okay! The clinic even called me a few days later to check on him. The service here is unmatched.

I really appreciate the prompt response that I received from Dr. Lee and her staff members regarding the care that my cat, Prince, needed to get healthier. They did an excellent job at administering the proper medication to treat his symptoms. With this being said, he has healed well, and he is back to himself again. Dr. Lee took precious time to spend with us to discuss palliative care for our sick and aging canine. We sincerely appreciate the compassion shown by Dr. Lee and her associates.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and I’ve always struggled to find a veterinary office that doesn’t try and screw you for every hard earned dollar. This is my go to favorite veterinary office. I recommend them to everyone!

It was 800 dollars for 2 cats!!!! That is insanely expensive. 480 dollars for blood work??? I had to call them for the results of the blood work and they decided not to call me about my cats UTI?? Oh and my cats are seniors and they gave my cat a shot I SPECIFICALLY ASKED not to give but they did it anyway. I will not be returning her
