They have been my vet for over 12 years.. Dr. Smith is fantastic

I like the Clay Road animal clinic for my pets for many years. I just got a new poodle dog and I took to same place.

Dr Smith is one of the best there is. Personable and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Smith is not only VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, he is compassionate to both my dog and my concerns. If there is an emergency, his office always squeezes us in for a visit. You won't be disappointed going to him.

Took all our female dogs for their check ups and get all their pills there for their wellness

They are too busy to return calls when your pet is having trouble. They will not answer the phone and have to leave messages. Very poor professional business practices.

If you want a vet that cares as much about your pets as you do, bring your pets here. Have been coming here for over 20 years

My appointment was at 12:30 pm, but I walk out at 2:45 pm without seeing the doctor, and they said that there are still two people ahead of me. It's very disappointing to have such poor customer service and see how THEY PLAY WITH YOU because It looks like this doctor chooses who wants to see. I saw three people who came before me got visited, but I was still there, so I went and asked one of them did they see the doctor? They said yes. He got a few good reviews, and he doesn't care anymore, so make sure to take a book with you while you sit there for hours and might not even see him.

The team at Clay Road Animal Clinic is wonderful. They took the time to walk us through options for our fur baby. They were very sympathic to our situation and helped us through a very difficult decision. We can't thank them enough.

I'm not sure how this doctor got many good ratings because I called three weeks ahead to get an appointment, but after 3 hours of waiting in the room, he only saw my dog in the hallway for 10 seconds. Also, the staff wants to argue with me when I ask how much longer it takes to see the doctor.

Just moved here from Michigan and was looking for a great veterinarian place, so I looked online and read a lot of the reviews and Clay animal clinic had great feedback, unfortunately I had An appointment today at 11:15am and mind you I got There early …. They had me come to the patient room and I waited For 45 minutes… at this point I couldnt Take it anymore…so I left The vet at 12:05pm… no one came to check on me or to say the doctor is running behind…. It’s all about respecting other folks “time”. Very inconsiderate on their part. When I asked The receptionists is the doctor running behind, she said yes he always runs behind!! Not acceptable!!

Best Vet I've been to. He came highly recommended from a friend who owns a dog boarding business. I can sum it up by saying we drive past four other vet offices to get to his. The location isn't great, but other than that, the Vet and his staff are top notch.

I really can’t say enough good things about Dr. Smith and his staff. They are all so friendly, genuine and courteous. We have been coming here for about 2 years now. I love that Dr. Smith takes the time to really examine our dogs, reviewing their charts and answering any questions I may have. His bedside manner is excellent and something I wish I could find in a doctor for myself! I never have to wait long for an appointment or a response via phone or email. The prices for visits/meds are great and they never pressure me to purchase additional services. His accommodations for our dogs have shown me that he genuinely cares about the animals well-being. It doesn’t feel like an impersonal business, but rather a trusted member of the community looking after our pets. I’ll never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Smith ❤️

Took my dog here for her yearly vaccinations,get her dry nose looked at, heartworm test and prevention, and 2 lumps looked at. All staff here was friendly AND professional. Person at desk kind and responsive. Leave a message if you don't get an answer and you'll get a call back that day. Quick turn around for call backs. Didn't have to wait long for appointment. Veterinarian and the Vet assistant both explained everything and made me feel comfortable. They answered any questions happily. Both lump results came back negative for anything dangerous. Thank you Clay Road animal clinic!! I wish I wasn't moving soon so I could keep coming here. Would recommend to anyone.

We've been coming here going on about 10 years now, Dr. Smith has been seeing my dog since he was 6 weeks old (he'll be 10 this year). First thing since I have a pitbull I was very nervous about finding a vet just because they are often stereotyped, but Dr. Smith has always been so loving and caring when it comes to my dog. I have recommended all of my friends with pit's to Dr. Smith just because of how great he and his staff have been with Jeriko. Dr. Smith is amazing, he's very passionate about his job, he will take the time to explain everything to you. Answer any of your questions, He listens to your concerns (if any) and addresses them. Sometimes phone calls go straight to voicemail for a call back but I believe they are just really busy lately and with COVID restrictions there are some delays, but anytime we have an emergency situation, we have stated the urgency of needing to speak with Dr. Smith directly about what issues we were having and we have been able to be seen very quickly. Highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff.

I would give this vet 10 stars if I could. He and his office staff are the most compassionate people.I took my cat to him after. Animal hospital turned us away due to not having 2500.00 up front and basically told us to put the cat down. This vet took my cat in and is doing whatever he can to save my cat. Took my pregnant female cat to him years ago and he took wonderful care of her and her babies. Definitely would recommend him to ANY pet owner. Dr. Smith you are one amazing vet

So glad I found them. Pricing is reasonable and unlike other vets they got the diagnosis and treatment right the first time.

Dr. Smith is great. You can tell he really loves animals. He takes the time to explain things . Everyone is very nice.

Dr. Smith and his team are some of the most compassionate and caring individuals that I have ever encountered with an animal clinic. For over 10.5 years the team there has always treated myself and my fur babies like family and I always knew we were in the best hands. Usually you have to drag your dog in and they are bolting for the door when the visit is over but it was the exact opposite for us. Bolting out of the car and into the front door and having to be pulled out to go home. If you are looking for someone that will care for your furry babies as much as you do, Clay Road Animal Clinic is the place to go!
