My experience with this clinic has always been positive. The staff are professional, helpful and polite. The curbside visits during the pandemic have been very well managed and organized. Dr. Phillip is the primary vet for my cat. He is very articulate in explaining everything clearly and answering all your questions. Definitely recommend this clinic to cat owners.

Dr. Filip is amazing. He worked with my elderly cat through her many issues, including UTI and hyperthyroidism. He also listens to everything you have to say about your cat and truly describes his approach to medical problems thoroughly. On top of that they answered all of my questions/concerns over the phone. He and his techs truly care about your cats health, finding affordable care, and just overall helping with education with no judgment!

They are the most knowledgeable and caring vets I’ve ever taken my loved ones, my pets for treatment. I took my really sick cat to them earlier this year and they helped tremendously in bringing him back to health. Other vets let me down but they gave me the answers I needed. I also recently brought my older Persian to them to get put to sleep. They were so kind and attentive. They even mailed me a sweet card offering condolences. If you have a cat that’s family to you like my cats are take them here, they give great prices for how much knowledge and care you’re getting, for the quality of care they offer they should be charging a lot more .

I've been taking my cats to CVC for some time now and I recommend them to every one I know with cats. I have dealt with each vet. They're all so kind and knowledgeable. Each one takes their time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. Dr. Christensen took the time to help me out when I had to make the decision to put down my first cat and I will always appreciate the compassion she showed during such a difficult time. The receptionist, Gabrielle is very courteous and provides excellent service. The vet techs are always kind and gentle with all of my kitties. I have zero complaints about my experience at CVC.

I called and asked a simple question..b...couldn't answer yes or no and it was a yes or no question. Oh we seen cats for various reasons. She hung up on me.

Such great care is given to my cat. Wonderful customer service from the front desk to the nurse to the provider. I couldn't ask for anything more.

What should have been a peaceful, supportive situation while I had to put down my diabetic cat, was just a series of verbal passive aggressive jabs at me, suggesting I failed to be a responsible parent for my loved one. Horrible experience. How horrible a person must be on the inside to want to inflict more pain on someone who is already experiencing the worst pain.

My cats have been going to the Cat Vet since the early 90s. I love how they are with them, gentle and sweet. In 2016 we moved to Livingston, TX and started taking Quincy, my latest cat, to a local vet. It was a totally different experience and I was appalled that they gassed him to get some blood. During the entire exam, I was not allowed to touch him. Needless to say, I make the trip to Houston for Quincy to see Dr. Filip every three months. I love how The Cat Vet treats me and Quincy! 5* to their team!

Great team, efficient and clear in after care instructions, and very open and honest about what your cat needs for their health. Everything about this team will instill confidence and trust that your cat is in great hands.

The team here makes my skittish cat feel comfortable and they help keep him healthy.

I love the attention to detail and the special care they give to our fur babies. A regular vet just doesn't have the specialized touch that the Cat vet does. You can email or now chat in the app and they will answer whatever questions you have. I know I can trust my babies here and in so glad I found this place! Dr Tibbs and staff are truly cat people!

The vet who looked at our cat was very good and took time to discuss the issues with our cat and various treatment options available. Everything else was a complete pain. Extensive Covid check-in procedures, only to be taken to a private room. Paying for the visit was a hassle. "The system" was down so they couldn't access my pet's records. Constant spamming of emails from the clinic trying to sell products. I am so sorry I ever went here.

I will never go to another vet again. This is the best place that I’ve found within the loop, with vets who genuinely care about the health and well-being of your pets. Dr. Tibbs is an absolute gem. Cats rule ????

I brought my kitty here about a year and a half ago and I really did not like the veterinarian. He was very rude and condescending when talking to us. He was cold and never cracked a smile. He also told me that my cat had stomatitis and tried to convince me that he would have to have all of his teeth removed ASAP, which would've costed a lot of money. Well, miraculously my cat overcame his horrible stomatitis on his own and he hasn't had an issue in over a year. I don't think his diagnosis was wrong but I do think that he didn't even care about my cat at all and just wanted our money. Other that that, the receptionist was very nice and helpful, and in the waiting room, I got to pet a kitty that roams the building. That was cool. I wouldn't mind going back just for annual vaccinations and things like that but I do not want to see that veterinarian again. He really made me uncomfortable.

The vet & staff here are all so friendly! They are amazing with my cat and answer every question I have as a first time cat mom

All of the doctors and team members at The Cat Vet Clinic are fantastic, empathetic and extremely caring with our two senior cats (one is a special needs tripod kitty) and our two younger bonded cats. It is so nice to have a local vet clinic with expert veterinarians and staff that focus solely on cats. ????

Great service, explain in details and very much transparent for the cost. Not like some other vet. They always try to find the best solution for you and as reasonable as possible. My cat is in good hands.

Exceptional care and attention to detail for our 2 cats, never knew a vet experience could be so personal, invested and informative. Basically learning everything other cat vets throughout 25+ years of having cats told us was wrong (throw up all the time and hairballs are not normal for cats, they protein amount in diet, healthy weight, etc) Can’t recommend enough

Best cat vet in Houston

I don't know how this place is getting such a high rating because Doctor Filip doesn't know what he's doing AT ALL. He literally told me to feed kittens LESS than adult cats... He told me in certainty to feed my 4mo old healthy kitten 150 Cal per day because he should eat 180 Cal when they grow up... Did he pass vet 101 in freshman year?? Luckily I didn't listen to him and starve my kitty to death. How did he expect kittens to grow into adult cats eating in deficit, I will never know. DON'T BRING YOUR CATS HERE UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO KILL THEM!

Safe, courteous, and about as affordable as quality vet care comes.

These guys were unable to recognize a cat in heat. Once I independently confirmed the cat had not been spayed, they told me the earliest surgery date was two months away. I got my cat spayed else where and for a way more reasonable price. Now that my cat has been spayed her appetite issues are completely gone. She had been having the lack of appetite and other symptoms for almost a year and I took her to the cat vet clinic a handful times to try and figure out what was going on. I had never seen a cat in heat and I still figured it out before them. I no longer trust cat vet clinic to take care of my cat. They sure made a lot of money off of me though.

This clinic is top notch. We see Dr. Filip but would trust our cat with any doctor. Our cat is an extremely complicated case and Dr F has spent time on the phone with us after hours discussing his care, and even referred us out to a specialty hospital for a second opinion because he cares that much about our cat. We came back to Dr. F though. The staff are on the ball too - if they say they are going to do something (call you back, leave a message with the doctor, etc) it always gets done without exception.

My cat had multiple issues with over grooming and then with litter box usage. They were fantastic in helping give multiple tests to begin to help me understand the reasoning behind her grooming. They went through everything step by step and made me feel very comfortable.

This group has gone above and beyond to help me care for my cats. Very kind, compassionate, friendly, and professional.

I was here a few weeks ago and had a great experience with my elderly cat. I feel like they handled this Coronavirus issue very well, and they were extremely professional. Dr. Tibbs took the time to speak with me on the phone after the appointment, and she did a great job of explaining what was going on with my cat, and she was very open for questions. I left feeling confident in her care, and that my money was well spent. This is clearly a clinic that cares about cats. 10/10 recommend.

Lovely experience. Very clean & quiet facility. Their staff made my shy cat feel relaxed enough to be held and petted. I will definitely be back.
