I took my dogs Spaghetti and Meatball in for a training consultation and a 6 week 1-on-1 training course. The trainer, Oscar, was amazing at getting our dogs into shape and made sure the training catered to our dogs' specific needs. It's like night and day with them! We also decided to use them for boarding and they have exceeded our expectations. The staff are wonderful and I feel better leaving our dogs with Barks 5th Avenue because I know they'll get all the love and attention they would have if they were at home with us.

zero stars if i could. God forbid your flight gets cancelled or delayed. they won’t let you pick up even 15 minute late with ample call ahead. this place is a dump, ugly yard, ugly building. will never be coming back. thank the effing lord i managed to get there in time to get my boy, otherwise i would’ve been forced to pay for another night AND their food because i didn’t pack for an extra day that was ENTIRELY out of my control.

Barks 5th Avenue was one of the best decisions I could have ever made for my puppy. He is a Maltipoo (Maltese-Poodle) and was very mischievous. Before Bear went through his 3-week training with Oscar (Phenomenal), I just knew that I was going to get a call back for me to come to get him lol. Oscar is the dog whisperer and transformed him into a saint. He broke everything down into manageable and comprehensive components. Oscar even helped my mom conquer her fear of dogs, so amazing. Also, the staff is very sweet and welcoming. So grateful for the recommendation!

I was so nervous about leaving my dog (she is family) but after just the initial evaluation I could see how much Oscar loves his job and my dog loved him right off the bat! Not going to lie the separation anxiety is awful but every time I went to visit I could see how well she responded to Oscar and not once did she look afraid. That meant the world to me! She is doing great at home and is so much better. I highly recommend Barks Fifth Avenue for your fur family training and I know my baby girl will be going to their doggy daycare so she can play with her new friends!!

We brought our female German Shepard to Barks 5th Avenue for boarding three week training. Our pet was antisocial, jumped all over people and never listened to any commands. Through boarding she has learned so much obedience and discipline it’s like we have a brand new dog! We are so grateful to Oscar the trainer. I highly recommend this place for quality customer service and the best training for your dog.

I had a free consultation for puppy training for my baby Blu. Even though he was too young to start they offered me alot of tips and advice. They were so kind to Blu and I. Definitely recommend!

Barks 5th Ave is like part of our family. They love our dog as we love our dog. We know that when Malcom is at Doggie Daycare, he is safe and that means a lot. We don’t have to worry about him and know he is in good hands. The staff at Barks is fantastic and are all so friendly and helpful; it is obvious that they all love what they do because it shows. I highly recommend Barks for anyone who loves their fur baby as much as we do. From training, boarding, daycare or supplies, Barks is definitely a great place!

Listen, this is the place for your dog baby. My dog barks at everything & everyone but something about this place he loves. It’s like he’s another dog each time I bring him in for a visit. They love my dog and he loves them????????

This place is absolutely amazing. Staff are super friendly and have such a great relationship with all of the animals at the location. Couldn't be happier with the training they provided and the care they showed my large puppy. I would recommend this business to any and everyone!

My 10 month old pup went for his first day of doggie day care. He had a blast and is worn out! So happy to have him set up for weekly visits. Also starting training soon with Oscar so we can learn new tricks and fine tune a few things. Love this place!

Vicki is the best groomer in town! Our sheepdog is well taken care of by her! She takes the time to thoroughly brush him, she uses the hand scissors to my make fur even and round by his butt! Sam enjoys going to Barks!

We took our 2 yr old pup Winston too Barks 5th for some training. He would bark and sometimes good go nuts when we would pass other dog's. I was scared to take him on walks, he's been home 2 day's now and his transformation is amazing. Oscar is a wonderful trainer and his staff is also very good. I always got an answer or a call back from them never had to call more than once. Also gave me updates on hos progress and posted pics on social media. If you're looking for a great place for training your fur babies this place is wonderful. Thank you Oscar and your staff.

Barks 5th Avenue is a great place to board and train your dog! I took my one year old, ten pound morkie to Oscar and the crew at Barks 5th Avenue, and I am very impressed with the training Hazel received. Hazel went from having no previous training experience, to being potty trained and behaving very well on the leash. The people that work at Barks 5th are very loving, and they took great care of Hazel during her three weeks there -- she was sad to leave! I highly recommend using Oscar at Barks 5th Avenue to train your dog, of any size!

Oscar and the staff at Barks are very kind and helpful. I had to drop our dog off early due to a family emergency and they were respectful and caring! Oscar did an amazing job with our dog and helped us to understand what we needed to continue to do with Max at home! For kenneling and training, this is where we recommend you take your dog!

The people at Barks 5th Avenue are wonderful. They work as a cohesive team. We brought our young dog, Lucy, for the long training program. The place is quite spacious. It is maintained very well. We even saw how the play area was cleaned during one of our visits. Most importantly, we witnessed a great change in Lucy’s behavior (saved from the SPCA). The trainer, Oscar, is wonderful. He gave us all the necessary information during our initial consultation. He is a very down to earth so is easy to communicate one’s concerns. He is straight-forward in his message and the expectations for the dog. During our last visit/pick-up, we noticed that Lucy looked at him for approval. Oscar is very much in charge of the dogs that he trains. The customer service is great. These people are very busy; yet, they made sure to give us a reminder call before every visit which was greatly appreciated. Even after the last visit, Oscar offered help with any questions after the training was done. They are very professional and reliable. The program was of great quality and value to us. We highly recommend their service.

I did not at all like my experience here. I chose Barks bc it was the only place that would board my Albi without him being neutered. This was my 1st time leaving him with someone other than family while I was out of town. I was told pics would be posted on their Facebook page of the dogs during his stay. Albi was there for 4 days. Not 1 pic posted. Not only does the place smell terrible, and gives you this eery unkempt feeling, my Albi had dried poop on his paws and reeked of urine. He was not at all himself when I took him home. The following day I took him to get groomed and bathed. I’m happy to say he is back feeling like his old self. Do not recommend Barks at allllll. Unless you need a cheap place & don’t care much about how your pet is actually treated.

We have a rescue German Shepard that was 2.5 years old when we got her in Oct 2020. She barked at other dogs and pulled during walks. We took her to Oscar at Barks from a recommendation. Oscar kept her on property for 3 weeks and trained her. Oscar met with us for over an hour on our first visit. During the 3 weeks, he showed us how to work with her and suggested some additional tools. We can't say enough about Oscar's ability to train our pet and us. Oscar is an exceptional trainer. She has improved a lot. Barks has an amazing staff which is very supportive and accommodating. They had the resources available on site to purchase for the continued health and training of our dog. We will continue to bring her back for boarding and socialization training.

Unclean, rude, not professional place to take your fur babies. A while back we took two of our dogs and one of them ended up having a tick/mole on her snout; my guess from how unsanitary this place is for dogs and people. Very small, cramped up spaces for the dogs to board. Left our brand new collar and leases with staff, and once picked up claimed they were "not responsible" for any lost items. Both dogs looked traumatized from the experience left from the staff and other dogs. DO not recommend this place and if I could I would leave zero stars. If you care for the health and comfort of your dogs, don't go here. I currently use Willowcreek Ranch of Tomball or PetSuites!!!

If you want to find people to train your dog, this place is IT. Call as soon as you can, they have a pretty busy schedule. Took my puppy in for the board and train program and he came back so well mannered. Oscar and all of the staff are so friendly and caring, you can tell they really understand and know their way around dogs; super professional and friendly. From what i've seen, the programs are somewhat specialized to your dogs behaviors and habits. Whether that be leash work, jumping on people, marking territory, digging, you name it. I was skeptical at first since I brought in a hyper golden retriever puppy who just wanted to be friends with the world, but after a short 3 weeks (including a setback) he is much more responsive to my commands even with distractions. They offered to train my dog an additional 5 more days because of the setback, so i'll be taking him back soon. Can't wait to see how much more he can learn. The staff at Barks 5th truly makes life easier for both the pet and owner. Spend your $$ here, you won't regret it.

My four weeks old Pitbull was out of control. He would jump and bite everyone. I took him to Bark Fifth Avenue, and after only three weeks, my Pitbull is a different guy. If you are like me, having issues with your puppy, then I think you should let these guys at Bark Fifth Avenue wave their magic wand on your puppy. I am sure You won’t regret it.

If you need a dog trainer Oscar at Barks 5th Avenue is your guy! We took our 1 year old pit/corgi to him thinking training may not work for him. Boy were we wrong. Oscar was able to teach him simple commands & good habits. Oscar truly had his work cut out for him with our furbaby but he did not give up. The staff at Barks is just as amazing. Love the fact that I could call at any time & get an update on our pup. We signed up for a 3 week training & were able to visit once a week. With each visit we were able to see what our pup had learned & get feed back from Oscar on how things were going. On graduation day our family sat with Oscar & he trained us on what our pup has learned. Highly recommend Barks 5th Avenue to all!
