This place is absolutely terrible. We went there for a very simple procedure but this end up being the most annoying complicated vet trips I have never taken. Do not take your beloved pets for spay or neuter in that place. You will be disappointed. I didn’t do my research prior. Felt in the trap of getting the first available hospital to spay her and besides my regular vet mentioned then. Big big mistake. Our puppy was butchered. She took close to 3 months all together to recover as we thought from a spay. Go figure. Just found out from her groomer that she might not be totally healed either. Beyond annoyed. They certainly do no deserve a star.

I was very glad that they accepted walk-ins, since all of the places I called before coming here required appointments. I was also very relieved that they treat guinea pigs since many places only treat cats and dogs. While examining my guinea pig, the vet immediately recognized an eye infection and said we would need antibiotics. They weighed him, checked his temperature, and then gave him 2 shots and fluids. The vet explained the medication, and we were good to go. He also told us which types of food and veggies are good for guinea pigs. It was an overall quick experience and the staff really know what they're doing. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful! I also liked how most of the staff is Spanish-speaking! Helped a lot with communication. The cost for a consult is $35, but it can add up depending on what your pet needs. We didn't have to wait long at all because there weren't many people there when we arrived, but there can be a wait if theres a lot of people there already. I'm really thankful that we found this place! My guinea pig is now better and back to normal :)

Very convenient that they are open Sunday. We were a walk in and they took care of use quickly! They also offer variety of service from Vet to grooming.

I brought my dog in for a checkup. She was an old dog who had recently gone blind and was in pain. The vet couldn't find what was wrong with her and briefly left the room. In the 60 seconds he was out of the room, I was able to Google my dog's symptoms and become almost certain that my dog had diabetes. Honestly, I should've googled it before, because it was unbelievably obvious. When the vet returned to the room, ready to send us out with only a bill, I asked him to test my dog for diabetes. He took a sample and left the room, and returned in just a couple minutes confirming that my dog had diabetes. It's very likely that if I hadn't googled it and instead just taken the vet's word, my dog would have died much sooner and in much more pain. If you have a pet that is suffering, please, for your pet, take them to someone that knows what they're talking about. Your pet will thank you.

This is my to go clinic because they are always available and are affordable and they know what they are doing. I bring all my dogs here. I even had one of our dogs Bailey cremated and they did a great job with the process.

Valarie is the reason for 5 stars. Ignore the wait and any thing else that may work your nerves . If Valarie is there all is gonna be well. She’s sweet and nice and amazing with the animals. ????

Was here on the 2nd and overall it was a good experience but there was a dog that was gushing alot of blood out (maybe in labor not sure) and I informed the staff the floor was covered in blood it was hard to walk through without being close to step in it . The staff took their sweet time getting the mop.

!!!THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! YOUR PET WILL BE HARMED HERE AND YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!!! I brought my dog Casper here for a three night boarding and grooming. When I returned to pick him up he had been visibly harmed and had dried blood spots on his head. When I pointed it out to the old white woman working behind the counter she pretended like she couldn’t see it. CASPER is a white dog and the blood spots were reddish/orange!! They also lost the toy he came in with and offered no resolution. As for the grooming, he was dustier and had more loose hair than when he had come in. Eduardo was supposedly the groomer but he had done absolutely nothing for my dog. Casper has been to multiple groomers in the past and this was BY FAR the worst “grooming” he has ever had. I requested a refund but they just defended their abysmal service by saying this is what you get - complete waste of $40 for a “grooming”. I will never allow another one of my pets to come here again!!!

My 2 years old Sammy got spay here. The procedure was successful and her stichy healed fast. After a week, my Sammy was back to normal. I read many good and bad reviews here, but decided to give this hospital a try. I am satisfied, but I have to say that the wait is so longggg.

I needed vet service on the 31st of December and as I researched, Alief Animal Hospital was open. When I called, I was responded to immediately by a friendly lady who told me they would be available to take care of my pet. When I got there, they remembered me and knew what I was coming for. I appreciated they friendly welcome. As this animal clinic works as first come first serve, they let me know how many patients were ahead of me so I understood they would be a wait. While waiting I saw different pets and pet owners come through with a variety of needs and they were all taken care of. I appreciate the different levels of expertise and professionalism of the staff. I’m grateful for Alief Animal Hospital and happy to know that they are available when other vet clinics are not. Please expect a wait and if you have an emergency case, go to an emergency vet clinic. Otherwise, make time as the quality and cost for services is worth the wait.

Hours and prices are great. The older doctor’s bed side manner is largely lacking. I wish I knew the female vets name - she’s phenomenal!

I have been using them for the past 20 years, 3 dogs and 4 cats in 20 years, they have been very friendly and helpful, I have never had any issues with them. I am again going to take my new cat tomorrow and the other next month to get spaded. I will definitely recommend them

All the staff are gentle with the different animals. Their compassion when we had to relieve our pets of their pain was admirable allowing us our last moments with them. Reasonably priced and great hours.

I took my dog to this hospital a month ago because he was presenting frequent sneezing, first they sent him antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and that it was a simple flu then I had to go again after 14 days and they diagnosed my dog that it was the teeth that I had to clean her and they extracted 4 teeth plus antibiotics more money they charged then 18 days passed and my dog got worse I took him again because my dog is worse and the vet washed her hands saying that she could no longer do anything and referred me to another veterinary hospital in conclusion they took my money for more than 2 months and my dog is worse this is an abuse I do not recommend this place I feel that I was scammed and my dog was left without a tooth and worse apart from calling by phone and the person to explain the case to him what I answer rudely that he will think what he wants I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL

The vet is a jerk, walked in and didn't even acknowledge me. Squeezed my dogs belly, told the nurse he needs an x-ray and walked out. 1st and last time.
