Kindness Small Animal Hospital Garland, Texas

I can't comment on the vet side of Kindness Small Animal Hospital because I only brought my dog in to be groomed. I specifically asked multiple times for them not to trim his body, at all. I mentioned when I spoke to the woman over the phone (who was super nice. everyone was so nice) that I only wanted his face and feet trimmed. I brush him out every day, he did not need his body trimmed at all. I also restated that when I dropped him off. I did NOT want his body trimmed. Just feet and face. When I picked him up I was shocked lol they cut his entire head and body. I mean, he looks super cute (honestly it's impossible for him not to look adorable) and smells great but omg the lack of communication. The woman at the front was even like, "Oh is it too short?" when I gasped. Not only did they cut his head and body, but it is super uneven. There are random long chunks on his head. And of course, I could only say, "I'm sure it'll grow back" and pay the $70 BEFORE tip. I'm leaving three stars because the staff was really friendly but oof...I am super disappointed with the zero communication.

I drive 40 minutes just to see this vet. My only regret is not finding them earlier! I took my dog to probably 6 different vets that were all horrible until I finally found kindness small animal hospital. The vets and staff here all care so much about your pet and treat you with respect and kindness. I’ll continue to go to them for every pet I have for as long as I can!

Our puppy has been seeing Dr. Neeman since she was 8 weeks old. From setting up the appointment to her several puppy visits and getting fixed we couldn't be happier. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Neeman and his staff always have time for our questions. Every visiting pet always seems happy to be coming. We are SO happy to have found Kindness Small Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my cat to Kindness Animal Hospital for the last year and a half. They have been very sweet and caring to my old cat with chronic issues. The front desk staff are kind on the phone and they were almost always able to work me in, even at late notice. I've only had one in-person visit with Dr. B, given that my cat's frequent visits have been mostly during Covid, but even over the phone, he was an informative, often humorous presence. Sadly, the commute is too far now that I'm no longer working remotely, so I've had to make the switch to a new clinic. It was a tough decision and I'll miss this crew! UPDATE: The commute is worth it. I tried another clinic a few times and I'm back at Kindness. They're the best!

Just had our first visit with them today. Staff was so friendly and kind. I’ve never had a vet be as thorough as Dr. Neeman. He was wonderful. Grateful to find such caring place for our dog.

I cannot say enough good things about the front desk staff at this office. I also work at the front desk at a small dental practice, and I can tell you....these women knock it out of the park with customer service. I was "that new dog owner" calling asking ALL THE QUESTIONS. Everyone I spoke to was patient, informative, and kind. A 15 min convo with a "potential client" can be taxing, I know first hand. I would have given a 5 star review with out even visiting!! The front office staff can make or break an office, and these women are killin' it! I hope these doctors know and appreciate the stellar work these women are doing. :) Also high-five for snack sharing with my kids! ???? Dr. Neeman was sweet to my three inquisitive kiddos (all under 8 years old). He was observant, informative and got our pup on the road to recovery after an accidental chocolate cake sharing. >.< I look forward to a long term relationship with this office and feel confident our Corduroy is in good hands.

I initially gave a 3 star review due to a billing error and flea problem, but shortly after, I was contacted by Johnathan the office manager. He immediately informed me that he saw the discrepancy in the charges and reversed them back onto my CareCredit, and even though he assured me that Kindness Small Animal Hospital takes every measure to prevent fleas from staying in the clinic, he got me taken care of with a new type of flea treatment for my cats that should hopefully be able to rid them of their fleas. Service like this is hard to find these days, so my attitude towards this vet has certainly been changed. My actual visit was very simple and quick, and I felt that the doctor was very knowledgeable about my cat's skin allergies and was able to give him a shot that seemed to alleviate symptoms for a few weeks. I was very pleased at the promptness of their office manager reaching out to me to make sure my concerns were addressed. Will certainly come back in the future!

Excellent care and service, everyone is super kind and helpful. Our go to vet for our needs. Thank you for taking care of the beast's needs.

We have taken all of our pets here for at least 15 years now, just now writing a revew - sorry! Dr. B is unparalleled - great demeanor (with pets and humans alike), good listener, and just has a great approach to animal care. He patiently guided us through some pretty difficult end of life decisions with our sweet, long-time best pal a few years ago. It was very, very difficult, but the whole team at Kindness was just great throughout. We figure Dr. B was one of a kind, but the last couple years our pets have also been seen by Dr. Neeman from time to time, and I have to say, he is thre real deal as well, really, a couple of top-notch doctors here.And the whole crew, from the front desk to the techs, are very helpful and nice. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place where the people are cool and you can be confident your pets are getting the best care.

We have been driving 40+min to see Dr Neeman at Kindness for 7yrs. He is amazing with all three of our dogs and we cannot imagine taking them to anyone else. They have been treated there for everything from minor cuts and annual check ups to torn CCL’s, tumors, and cancer. Each treated with such care and detail. The vet tech and staff are all so great. Our dogs know where they are when we pull in, and they are actually excited they are going to see the vet. You really can’t ask for better than that!

Thank you to the wonderful kindhearted Doctor & staff! They saved my daushund, Peanut, life. I cannot say thank you enough for their service & being an affordable clinic who understand our pets are family members!

We are newer to the Dallas area and have been looking for a vet for a while and are so glad we found Kindness. We just took our dog with allergies to Kindness and the vet was so personable and helpful in getting some relief for our dog’s itchiness. Everyone of the staff were extremely nice and helpful as well.

Just wanted to that we have been coming to this location for a long time and will continue to do so due to the friendly and amazing staff. Also to note is Jessica is a blessing and so kind she did an amazing job with communicating and translating English to Spanish all the information im a calmly and sincere manner for my mother during some difficult times with our little schnauzer. Dr. Neeman is very professional as well and has helped us out with all of our furry friends and he truly is a kind human that cares for the animals we call family. Again the whole staff has done such an amazing job during such difficult times and we very much appreciated all that you do to take care of our loved ones.

I really like Dr B and how loving he is with my pets. I had a dog and cat die mid lat year (from old age) and the care and concern he showed for my family and pets made something very hard bearable. He’s not pushy and is a sweet man, perfect for your pets. Now I have 2 new kitties and he’s been great giving me advice on their care. We also had a surgical procedure done today and he was great in explaining after care and called to let me know they are ok. I also like his staff. Everyone seems to like being there and are always kind. Great name as it reflects the service.

I've gone to Dr. Neeman since 2011 and have always had an amazing experience. They truely take the time to care for your dog and spends plenty of time to hear your concerns and work through any issues. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is looking a a quality vet.

Took my kitty for a broken foot today and I can't be more satisfied!! The customer service was exceptional. Amber was very sweet over the phone and was very detailed about the cost of everything so that I would know upfront. Dr. Neeman even called personally with an update and at home care instructions. I'm very pleased how my kitty was cared for today and I can't thank them enough!

Took my cat, Coraline, here and couldn’t have been more impressed by the doctor, staff, and everyone there. Dr. Turner is INCREDIBLE, smart, and amazing at what she does. Amber and Chessie are both incredibly helpful, kind, and wonderful employees. This will be my vet for life- love this office!

My ahi tzu (benji) was very sick wit parvovirus and I am so happy that I came a cross with this clinic staff and Dr Newman very professional and caring with my dog updating me every single day y highly recommend them decéntelo will come back

Dr. Neeman is the best vet I’ve ever come across and the staff are always so nice. I appreciate everything they do! I trust them 100% when it comes to my dogs.

We evacuated for Hurricane Laura and forgot heartguard medicine. Luckily, I had my pets records and reached out to this amazing animal clinic. They were extremely nice and understanding especially during a stressful time for my family. They provided a dose each for my dogs and if we stayed longer (a month or so) we would come in for a heartworm test before being provided another dose for each pet. I highly recommend them.

King-Melo and I love this place I having be taken my German Shepherd here for a little over 4 years and he has been treated so kind they also took very good care of him when O broke both my feet. I know they treated him good cause when we get there he is willing to get out of car and trust me I know whether he likes a place or not he's very smart and I've had him for 9 years

4.9 out of 5? Surely something was amiss. But The Boys needed a new doc and this was the place we were going to check out. 4.9 out of 5, I thought, we shall see. Yet, in more years than I care to admit of being privileged to have dogs in my life - across 5 states and in 3 countries - never have I found a veterinarian who was not only kind and caring, but actually took REAL time with me and The Boys. I wasn’t rushed at all or even passed off to a tech. And here’s an even more amazing tidbit - he didn’t try to up-sell me on the latest greatest lab test or guilt trip me because The Boys DNA hasn’t been sequenced. I felt as if I was at a lovely country vet. Now you’re going to swear I’m lying because, Dr Bodenheimer, himself, called me with the lab results. I about fell out. MY doctor doesn’t even call me with lab results and I’ve been seeing him for 10 years! I get some girl barely out of high school reading a piece of paper who doesn’t know the difference between a white and a red blood cell much less what my results mean! Dr Bodenheimer explained everything. He told me what to be concerned about in relation to my dogs ages and what could or could not help. Dr Bodenheimer is patient, understanding and knowledgeable without being overbearing. An extremely rare quality these days. Now, if only he worked on cars...

The vets here are amazing. Dr. Neeman has taken care of our pets since 2005 when we first found him. When I lived in California, finding a decent vet was nearly impossible. We found Dr. Neeman through his work with a cat rescue we adopted a cat from. We've been going to him ever since.

These are the most caring and competent people . I have been taking my cats for 14 plus years. Would highly recommend this doctor.

We love this vet practice. They treat our pets like family. But more important, they are knowledgeable and compassionate.

Such a great animal clinic! We took a friends dog in here and they knew the dog by name and their owners. They were so friendly and explained everything they were going to do or any and all after care for this visit. The location was convenient, spacious, and clean. I will be moving my animal services here even though it is twice as far as our current veterinarian.

This clinic has provided care for my cat for several years now. Excellent service, reasonable prices, doctor is great.

The entire staff makes you confident your pet is being given the finest care.
