This location is fully stocked with food, toys, clothing accessories and so much more. I haven't used the grooming portion, so this is why I didn't give a 5 start rating. I've gone for Santa pictures and pet adoptions in this location & it never disappoints.

Everyone at this store is always so helpful! I love seeing all the cool stuff they bring in and they're one of the only places I've found that will easily and kindly trim and buff my skittish dog's nails. Love them!

Awesome spot with lots things for your furry babies, great services and very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be coming back!

My fur baby Astro is a Bichon Frise .He gets excited to see the staff. Especially Mrs. London, he runs to her for lots of hugs & kisses then he runs to the groomer station to get more love from his awesome groomer Elizabeth Gibbs. He loves his daycare! I’m so happy I found this place for Astro. I know he is well taken care of.

Of all the grooming places in the area, this one exceeds them all! I'm so grateful we found this lovely puppy boutique and grooming salon. My dog is happier, and I am happier. I never feel nervous leaving him there for his grooming, and he always come out looking sharp.

This was Molly Mae's first time going to a groomer and when I picked her up she looked like a movie star dog. Liz did a fantastic job

We visited this morning to get some treats and bones. We were greeted by every worker, and they talked with my dog, gave her treats. So friendly, good selection. Awesome experience!

GaB always has great customer service and really goes the extra distance to make you and your doggo feel like family. Haircuts (s-paw day, as I call it) turn out great and groomers handle the dogs well; Bella and Bisou love the blueberry facials! Plus, there's lots and lots of stuff in the storefront to spoil your doggo!

I adopted my dog Ziggy in November, so we’re fairly new together. He was an abandoned dog, and has some behavioral issues which have resulted in three previous, unsuccessful attempts to get him groomed. This place is absolutely top notch. On a scale of one to ten I give them a twelve. They are very friendly, and unquestionably competent, and their shop of pet supplies is lovely. I am delighted to finally find a place that can deal with my little problem child, and highly recommend them.

Being from out of town it’s hard to be able to take my Frenchie just anywhere to have his nails clipped. But thanks place was great! Super nice staff was so great with him.

This is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any dog supply store. They did everything possible to make my nervous dog feel safe and secure while there. The dog wash stations were spotless, well supplied, had a menu of shampoo options to choose from, with brushes and towels provided. The staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions, I was even able to meet with the groomer to see how gentle she was with my dog before setting up an appointment while we were there. This was a fantastic experience and I strongly recommend checking this shop out. *Edit - The grooming appointment went spectacularly! We’ve had bad experiences at places in the past, but this was excellent! The groomer did an awesome job working with my anxious pup!

FREYA needed a bath today. NOW she smells like coconuts!!! This place rocks, the owner- onsite and the teammates that work there- especially London were awesome with my beautiful beastly K9 girl! You all know the trauma Freya lived through this past year so I get concerned still leaving her unattended, she is getting so much better- she's never been aggressive just nervous. She wailed like the GSD Goddess she is but really loved the blueberry facial, all organic and edible. The accommodations are top notch for the self serve bath and they have experienced groomers too. The place is decked out with high- quality gear and nutritions for ypur canine. They have doggie daycare and a barkery filled with goodies! ALL YOU WARRIOR K9 owners, get out to Gimme a Bark, even just for a canoli and a sit with your pup on the enclosed patio. It's right across the street from the park too in friendly Friendswood! Freya can't wait to come back! We got a bath, great caring service, a treat, a canoli and an Elk chew for later- less than $35! THAT IS ????!!! THANKS LONDON and crew.

We enjoyed shopping at this boutique style pet apply store. They also offer doggie daycare and bathing and grooming. I bought a really cute Easter themed bow tie for my pooch and the bells that hang from the door knob to potty train. I will definitely return to this store. ????

Charlie was awesome!!! I came with my pup Buttercup and he walked me through what kind of cut I wanted for my dog, I am a first-time dog owner so I’ve never known what to ask for. He was the kindest and so helpful! The entire staff is great tbh! They are always so nice and I feel very comfortable leaving my pup with them. I’ll be a long time customer

It's a little pricey but otherwise great.

My wife and I have been babysitting her brother's dog Roxie this past week, and we wanted to find a place to give Roxie a bath before he picked her back up. Since, we are not dog owners, bathing a dog was a new experience for the both of us. Anyway, "Gimmie A Bark" was the closest place that we could find to bathe her to which we are glad. (They also have many other amenities and products, and there is a park across the street.) The two employees explained the process to us, and prepared everything for us. They provide everything that one needs to bathe a dog including an entry/exit ramp. They also checked in several times to see how we were doing. Due to our ignorance, we had to ask them how to wash Roxie's ears out. Not only did the young man come in there to explain how to do it, he actually washed Roxie's ears out for us. In addition, he helped us to select a new dog harness, which he actually adjusted on Roxie. While I wish that they trimmed nails more than just one day a week (Saturday), the customer service, products and services earn this business 5 stars and a must visit for dog owners.

The self wash was awesome! My boy Rufus is huge and it's very difficult to bathe him. I was struggling to get him in the tub for about 10 minutes or so. The man there helped me and I was so grateful! Rufus weighs 150 lbs and stubborn as heck. I anticipated the struggle but didn't imagine the extreme lay down Rufus would use. Not to mention they have wonderful shampoo and the blueberry facial smelled amazing! Definitely worth it!

The people are so helpful & nice! I love their self serve dog wash, it’s the best with the shampoo & tearless for her face! She smells great afterward for days! They even give out treats!

London was super nice as well as everyone else we came in contact with. Took our dog in for a self service bath and we were highly satisfied! We will be back again soon.

I have taken my two dogs here for years now, for grooming and for daycare. The groomers have changed over the years, but they've always done a great job. You can tell by the way the staff treats the animals that they are all animal lovers. They have a ton of pictures on Facebook that they take with the dogs, and it's obvious that they really care about your pets. (Whomever does the photography is an excellent photographer, by the way. They have a great eye; probably two!) The products they sell in their boutique seem to be very high quality. I've purchased several cookies that look better than what you can buy at a bakery! Their prices are reasonable, considering the quality of care the pets receive. I would definitely recommend that any dog owners take their pets there. Well, unless you have a Mastiff or something; I think they have a size limit.

LOVE this place. They are amazing with my 4-leg fur baby, extremely knowledgeable and stock high quality products. Friendly and kind to animals!

I would give zero stars if I could. My one year old havapoo has been to Gimmie a Bark three times, and this is the only groomer she has even gone to. I was told today that she had too much anxiety during the grooming process, so they were only able to do maintenance which is only $10 cheaper for having almost nothing done to her($50 vs. $60). They blamed it on the costumes the employees were wearing and my dog just having an off day. When I went in to speak to the groomer and owner about it, the groomer told me that her card has said she has been anxious every time, yet I was told every time after her groom she is an angel! I obviously am not being made aware of what is going on behind the scenes with my dog when she is with the groomer. I am then told to come back and pay full price for another groom where they will try again. I will be using another groomer in the future who will be transparent with me! I am not the only person I have heard this happening to as well. Several friends have spoken on this to me before, and they all headed to Preppy Pets down the street! That's where I am headed to.
