Edit: Response to owner: it seems you were misinformed or you’re trying to discredit my review. I will not go back and fourth. I,just want to clarify. I called Friday and left a message for you to call me back. I wanted to formally decline the offer to go in for a trial groom Saturday. You never called me back which I found odd wether you wanted to offer me a position or not. Saturday I called to apologize that I was not going to make it in so you wouldn’t have to wait for me. I showed you shaves bc those were the most recents, not that I am not capable of not shaving. Now I’m definitely glad I didn’t waste any more time going back. No wonder you only have 1 groomer. No one wants to work there. :) A very nice building and all! It was not a good fit for me to work there as a groomer after interviewing. Owner had many rules that would change the way I’ve been grooming for 10+ years. I’m very understanding and all but after reading reviews It also turned me away.

Beware!!!!!! Do not use this facility. They scheduled my dogs grooming appointment. I went to pick her up and she was not groomed at all. The worker said oh you didn’t know it’s baths only? No one relayed that Information to me and $57 later for a bath? Do not come here unless you want to be scammed. This is a scamming facility. This operation has poor management and is scamming people. Be aware

Horrible place to be, to take your pets, or to work. The owner, Janice, is unbelievably unprofessional, rude, and treats her staff horribly and lies to her customers regularly about the services provided/conditions of the hotel. Good reviews are asked for directly in exchange for discounts just so she can try to offset the poorly starred reviews reflected by the MANY others who tell the truth. Talks trash regularly about her staff to other employees behind all of their backs, including to customers and people she is only just interviewing! Look at Indeed, Yelp, and previous reviews here if you want to see the pattern of behavior from this business. Do NOT take your fur babies here. They will not be taken well care of, and even when the hardworking other staff try their very best, being overworked and understaffed constantly shows. BEWARE. Edit: Janice, you know very well the behavior you show towards your employees and those dogs. Coming to reply to every negative review the way you do, when you and everyone can publicly see the similarities between each and every one, shows nothing but your vanity for your fake image with the hotel. Instead of lying to save-face, I strongly suggest you take real action to improve your attitude and treatment of your staff and how you conduct business. Those employees AND those dogs, deserve better.

Kennels are falling apart and dogs are in them. I would pay the extra to see how terrible the conditions are on the nanny cams. The dogs are forced in these terrible kennels hardly played and it's sad. Do not leave them here! Only excuse to give is "renovations"

I have had nothing but great experiences here! The dogs are always so excited to be going to Spa Paws. The staff truly cares for these animals. The amount of time and energy that the owner puts fourth in this business is incredible! Every business has its ups and downs , especially with staffing and improving but that comes with nothing less of wanting what is best for these pets. I’ve seen first hand the groomers, and the unprofessional staff that has tried walking into this business thinking they will just be playing with dogs all day. When it’s quiet the opposite it’s a very physically demanding job of insuring the facility is clean, dogs and cats are happy and played, a strict potty schedule, cleaning .. cleaning .. cleaning and I know these past employees haven’t taken their jobs seriously. I would be just as frustrated with my staff if I was in the owners shoes. Wonderful place, positive environment, and nothing short of these animals come first.

I heard a woman’s terrible story of what happened to her dogs when she brought them here. From the story, you can tell this place doesn’t care about their animals.

The dogs are great and the customers are great but the boss is terrible. I feel bad to anyone who works there currently or will in the future. She only cares about the dogs and not about her employees.

I’ve taken my boys there since they were puppies, going on 6 years. My boys love going there and I know the owner has strict standards and my dogs are treated extremely well. The owner does not allow anything less than exemplary care. It is a full service facility and you can trust your fur babies are well cared for.

jsut seeing the owner reply to bad reviews is enough to turn anyone away... not a big surprise she was nt exactly charming in person sadly . I only brought my dog in twice but every time she was around she was yelling ... at dogs ... staff..... not much care given to bigger dogs either they just get left in a kennel all day...

They are rude and arrogant. Also, forgot to sat my learning of how the owner speaks to others when there is a dispute of business tells me how much they care about people, much less animals.

They are just locked in their kennel all day. If you have a big dog, DO NOT BRING IT HERE! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The lady who runs this place treats her employees like trash. She yells at her staff. Like YELLS at her staff. This place is awful for people and even worse for the dogs.

This is my first time coming here and my experience has been awesome! I brought in my Shih Tzu today and the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and very comforting! She answered all of my questions. When I received my pup, he looked so cute ???? Thank you, ladies, for taking such good care of Benji ????????

I brought my Australian Shepherd here and he loves to play with other dogs. I was told that I could have a tour of the small dog daycare room, but not the large dog room. I’m not sure why they would even offer me that because I’m pretty sure my 50lb dog wouldn’t be considered “small” I was so excited that my boy finally had a place that he could play all day and not be in his crate while I’m at work and I couldn’t wait to pick him up and see him happy. Wrong....when I picked him up he literally was dragging the employee with his leash because he was running so fast to get to me. He seemed really nervous and distressed for some reason. He continued to whine the whole car ride home and then hid under the kitchen table for hours and wouldn’t eat. He’s never acted like this before. I was upset and I finally calmed him down, but I don’t ever want my baby to feel that way again so I will not be considering this place again.

I was exited to board my baby here. We dropped him off Saturday morning at 5am as prescheduled they didn’t even know he was coming. I asked to view where my baby was going to sleep but they said they couldn’t show me cause the manager was not there. I called to check on him Saturday during the day they claimed he was doing good. I asked about the video they claimed the tech has not gone to fix issues. Fine. Then Sunday I pick him up at 3pm again I asked to see the facility but they said manager hours are 2-4 but she just left. They bring my baby, I ask how he did. All they can say he did good. I have a German short haired pointer if you know the breed they do not bark we as soon as we get in the car he starts to whine with a raspy voice, which we thought was weird he didn’t not have a raspy voice when we dropped him off. Then Monday morning he was barking to let us know he wants to go outside he could even bark. His voice is gone. We took him to the vet they said he has laryngitis from barking and crying a whole lot. All I can think is that my poor dog was in his room all day barking and crying. I choose to ignore the reviews but I regret it. Do not board your dog if it’s a big dog I’m sure he was just in his room all day and night.

I wanted to love this place. I really did. Ignored all of the bad reviews and fell for the pretty pictures. First, they upcharged me for each night my dogs were there, despite my asking to put them in a smaller suite. The also withheld a military discount because "it was the holiday season." Not sure about the ethics of that, especially when I am giving you $700 to put my dogs in a room for a few days. Despite the insane price and the assurance when I made the reservation that there was 24/7 webcam access, the webcams were conveniently down. I asked for pictures of my dogs twice before any were sent, and they were only sent one time out of the 5 day stay. Staff was clearly unhappy/stressed at drop off and pick up. I was nervous to leave my dogs there with them. They were polite to me, but seemed anxious and irritated. Not a great vibe in the whole atmosphere there. If you are looking to board your dogs in Fort Worth, I strongly recommend A-Animal Clinic. Not only are the prices at least half of what we paid, the staff actually cares the place is not grossly mismanaged. Edit: The Manager responded telling me that I should be ashamed. Rather than any ounce of trying to respond to a valid customer complaint, she turns it on me, the person who gave her hundreds of dollars. If she knows who I am, she could call and vouch for any of the issues that I've had, but there was none of that. Absolutely absurd. And no, I was told no military discount. Is this really the environment you want to trust your pets in? Wow. I would rather them sit in a cage all day than stay with someone who talks to other humans this way.

Has the cutest, most unique little things for fur babies. I’ve purchased some of my fave stuff from here. Their clean dog food selection is nice also. The people I have encountered working, assisting me in the store and checking me out have always been extremely friendly and eager to help.

Wonderful place and great people. Pets are treated like royalty. Best groomers anywhere. Full disclosure, my daughter is one of the groomers, but it is a really nice place.

Update: added a star after receiving a nice response from them. You don’t always get things right, but you can learn and attempt to make it right. Don’t know if we will go back, but their effort to reach out and make it better next time goes a long way. Just shows you don’t have to be hostile in this world. Original review: Gets 2 stars only because she looks okay after her grooming. Was quoted $86, price was $93, over $100 after tax and "fees". They asked us about stitches in her belly - they were stickers, so that indicates they didn't groom her well there. Also her face still had many eye buggers, so they didn't clean it either. My wife showed up after 5 and she wasn't ready. Apparently they don't get dogs out until about 6:00 or so. She came out with only a rope around her - they had to go spend 10 minutes looking for her collar and leash. Don't go to the fancy "hotel" unless they get their act together. Just find a simple dog groomer who can take care of their business.

We have used daycare several times and boarded twice. Our one star is for the last board we did on 15 Sep 2018. After one night we were informed that one of our pups had a UTI, she had been seen by a vet a couple of times before for the same thing so we advised to just let the vet there check her out. We were informed that the vet would not be in until Monday, this was on Saturday. We ask about the sign stating that a vet clinic was in the building and got a laugh with "she don't work weekends". While this may not sound like a big deal to some, we feel when leaving an animal in their care when the web site has a whole page about their vet, that they should be able to get the animal treated if a problem comes up (even on a weekend). We were 1500 miles away and if not for a good friend getting the pups and taking her to a vet. Our trip would have been ruined dealing with the problem. The frustration and inconvenience we experienced leaves us no choice but to stop using spa paws and not recommend them. And their response is just a company trying to justify pitiful service and not take responsibility for their actions, or inactions in our case. There is no excuse for not getting an animal vet care when needed and if they say we failed to sign anything that was offered to us related to my pups getting the care they need ....it's a lie.
