There are the MOST compassionate vet techs, they really love every one of our dogs and take the time to make them comfortable and give them so much reassurance.

spent $800 here for them to prescribe medicines and food that my cat didn’t need, took my cat to another vet that isn’t part of a chain and they found out he has pneumonia and a kidney stone. Neither of which this vet picked up on.

Our pet is seventeen years old and for all of those years we have had excellent care at Angel Veterinary Clinic for our old man. The doctors are very caring and competent. Our pet now has a combination of ailments, most of which are directly related to his age. BUT! I now question the compassion of the Angel team. I called today to get an appointment for our pet who had spent the night coughing and whining. We are familiar with the coughing as he has collapsing trachea but, normally the whining occurs only at mealtime. We decided to see if he improved today but he hasn't and we noticed he has a swelling on one side of his face. When I called for an appointment with a vet I was told I could bring him in and leave him and if a doctor had time they would see him. I explained that in addition to the trachea issue he has an enlarged heart, gallstones, an enlarged liver and seems to be in pain. There was no attempt to squeeze him in if only to get him some pain relief. I am very disappointed.

First and foremost if you love your pet DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. We use to use this facility for primary care. However after my dog got diabetes we constantly got mixed information. We were told to give so many units of insulin by the doctor. Then we it came up again there were no notes to confirm the dosage. They thought they gave us the wrong syringes, again no notes in the system or even payment history. So we stopped going for medical. Fast forward We go on a trip and are trusted vet is full and we know nothing about any other vets in the area. We stupidity gave them another chance. We provided the exact amount of food, medicine and syringes for our dogs. We even sent a print out of instructions complete with photos of each dog and labeled everything. We were gone for 5 days. They starved my diabetic dog three of those days. Because he came back home with food, when he shouldn't have. They charged me two different fees for administering his medicine. However they didn't use all his syringes meaning they didn't give him his medicine for at least two days. Also, my other dog had a sprained hind leg as if he was stepped on or kicked not sure. I noticed a slight limp and the extra food but I was honestly exhausted from travel. By the time I realized it I couldn't prove anything. Fast forward a little more. My diabetic dog went into diabetic shock. He was screamining on the floor and he almost died. His insulin level has changed due to sudden weight loss this cost me a $1400 ER visit. My other dog turned out to have a sprained leg that cost me another $200. All this on top of the $600 i paid for them to be kept at Angel Vetinary Clinic. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE PLEASE.

While they had an immediate appointment available for my actively dying dog. Be ready to pay this kind of bill! I'm not okay with this, not at all! I had explained that our regular vet was booked up, which is unusual, and had diagnosed our dog with congestive heart failure and given 2 weeks worth of meds that ended up not helping. When we needed a vet to end our dogs suffering we ended up here, where we get charged a full veterinarian work up with a euthanasia fee and cremation costs. Your vet should not be charging for a full work up when just 1 week ago we had a diagnosis and knew what was happening. This is unacceptable to me. We needed you to end her suffering, not use your billing practices to increase your profit margin. If you really care! You would care about the animal, and the owner! Seriously disappointed.

I ventured out for a second opinion for my pitbulls ACL injury. I found VCA Angel and made an appt. From the moment I called and spoke to a pleasant receptionist to the moment after the surgery, I have high, high praise on the ENTIRE staff at VCA in Flower mound. Dr Romo and her team were beyond what I've ever experienced at any Vet!! These people were truly compassionate in every sense of the word. I took time to observe many staff as they came in and out to the parking lot to greet their clients. This place is obviously doing something right to maintain staff for 8 years and more and loving their job. My loyalties have changed and VCA is NOW my furever choice. My pet had TPLO surgery and I know she was cared for as if she was their own. Thank you for doing what you do and doing it at 110% . Kona thanks you too!! ????

The staff at VCA are incredible! I've brought my pets to the VCA in the town I moved from for years and have been extremely happy. The reason for the bad rating is because VCA changes their prices based on the wealth of clients within the vicinity of the hospital is located in. I paid half the price this location charges for the exact same services in another town. Call around to different VCA animal hospitals and they will tell you very different prices from one to the other. Absolutely ridiculous for a company that is now owned by a big box like Mars, Inc

I have visited the same pet hospital for over 3 years now, and I truly trust them and their opinion. The whole staff makes me feel very welcomed and my pets are comfortable (they know after the vet, we get a puppichino). I honestly believe that if it were not for the veterinarians, such as Dr. Cristián Palma, the cat that I’ve had since I was 5 years old would not have lived as long combatting kidney failure and be able to celebrate her 18th birthday. Since then, they are helping me raise a handsome shepherd and a rambunctious kitten. They want the best for your pet, and actually care. Texting me how my pets are doing after their visit, if they were sick or recovering from surgery. I honestly love this hospital and I highly recommend giving them a chance

I took my kitten for a checkup (curbside). Visit was on time and pretty quick. They offered a free first visit coupon which was great! Although once there prices are considerably higher than other local vets.

Awesome care and the best vets and techs. Super friendly. Only downside is cost and time. I've spent hours waiting for something as simple as blood work.

My sons dog was attacked one evening and we were able to get him seen right away. The veterinarian did her best to make sure we understood the treatment plan and planned surgery right away. She called right after surgery was completed to let us know how things were. Everyone was nice and clinic seems to be ran efficiently. They also offer finance plans for treatment if needed. Great place for 24/7 care!

***Update**** After my cat died, I tearfully called VCA Angel to let them know that he had died and to cancel upcoming appointment. I was treated with less kindness than I ordered a cheeseburger at McDonald's. My dog was under their insurance, so I had an appointment for him after that and I mentioned when I was in person about no longer having my sweet kitty. Still no kind words just an, "OKAY, we've noted that," in a chipper voice as tears ram down my face. I, like many people, consider my pets as family. I cannot complain about the treatment of my pets, but a little compassion would be nice. **************"******** Dr Unger is fantastic. The staff is helpful and friendly. They don't mind taking a zillion questions from clients. They always fit me in when I have a problem. I have never had a bad experience here and usually leave in a better mood than when I arrived. I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.

Love the staff and Vets at this location. The office visits for our cat and rats are very reasonable and I will continue to bring my pets here. I highly recommend for all types of pets!

Out of a few vets I have been too with my 3 cats I can trust these vets the most. They are knowledgeable and usually can help my problem. The down side is they are extremely expensive. They gave my an estimate of $1300 for my cat's tooth to be removed, which cost $250-$300 at most of the other vets I contacted. I had it removed for $270 at a different clinic which was a very bad experience for me so I guess that $1000 is for customer service.

Only place I trust to board my cats at. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Sometimes they send me pictures of my cats while they are being boarded which always makes me feel good knowing that they are being taken care of. They use to have report cards when you boarded your pets on how they ate and other things which I wish they still did.

We lost our little chihuahua, Sophie, not too long ago, but we were fortunate enough to bring her here when it happened. The staff were all very kind, compassionate, caring and understanding. They got us in quickly, helped as much as they possibly could, and took very good care of us. Even though our Sophie is gone, she spent her final hours in very good hands, with the wonderful staff at VCA Angel Animal Hospital. Thank you for taking such great care of us! You'll never know just how much it means to us. You guys are amazing.
