Everyone was very friendly! Had a great experience with Dr. Dietz! She was great with my elderly German shepherd and was very knowledgeable.

This was my first visit to SCVC. We adopted an 8-year-old lab who had been a patient with them in the past. I was very impressed that they were able to transfer the records and had our new pet's history. All of my questions were answered, and we started a new heartworm med.

I was scared for my dog and they worked him in and the doctors left me his personal number and stayed in contact.

Incredible experience. The care for our puppy and senior dog was second to none.

We brought our dog in to see Dr. Garcia for an appointment on Friday at 5 pm. Most people would be rushing to get home & start their weekend, but Dr. Garcia was extremely attentive with our dog & spent a lot of time with us discussing options and next steps. Dr. Portie took a lot of time to look at my dog’s fractured foot. He was very detailed about how to manage the fracture and what to look for. All of the vets at the office are very responsive and have a great bedside manner.

We have used Sunset Canyon Vet for almost 14 years. Our recent visit was to explore a lesion on our newest dog that was of concern. It warrants more exploration. We fully trust that the vets at Sunset Canyon will find the answer and make the best recommendation possible to treat Abner.

So friendly and knowledgeable Since the first time I’ve been to sunset, I’ve recommended family and friends as much as possible. First vet I felt wasn’t trying to charge me to make money, purely trying to help my animals and do what’s necessary.

I'm so grateful for Sunset Canyon Veterinary! Dr. Alice Dietz and the technician (I forgot her name) were awesome in helping me with my kitty Twinkie... In a crises moment, the emergency scheduler was able to slip me into an early morning appointment where other vets had nothing. I have found my new VETerinarian! With the treatment she received, she recovered very well for the next few days and still on the mend. It was also very affordable! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!

I was able to get an appointment right away, staff was friendly, atmosphere was homey and quaint and the prices are very reasonable.

We saw Dr. Alice Dietz several days ago. We took our almost 20 year old cat in and she did various tests and offered some advice and potential intervention that he was having with his glucose levels. She explained the results clearly. She also performed the daunting task of getting rid of some of the matts in his fur. He is accepting of many things but doesn't like having his matts removed. He looks better. He feels better. We feel better. Great job Dr. Dietz!

There’s no one we trust more than Dr Portie to care for our dogs! We travel all the way from Pflugerville to Dripping Springs, if that tells you anything! Dr Portie is so kind to our boys, and we know they are in the best hands for all their needs, ranging from annual physicals to dental cleanings, where sedation is required. Thank you, Dr Portie and staff!

I love this clinic. Every time I have to go to the vet, I always walk away feeling taken care of, heard, and never over budget because they are always willing to discuss price and options. All the staff seems to genuinely enjoy their job and the care is top notch. Hands down the best vet clinic in town!

Everyone is so friendly. My dog is a rescue and didn’t want to get on the scale. It seems silly, but it was a big deal to him. They were so patient and not demanding. They just waited until later when he was more acclimated. I’ve seen multiple vets and they are all great. I highly recommend them.
