I can always count on Del Rio Vet to care for my pets. Even as a walk-in, my pet got seen in a timely manner.

Wonderful but little more expensive than other

They did present prices before doing anything, but, I went in for them to charge me $400 just for something I already knew, my dog’s broken leg. And then for them to send me off my way without doing anything else for my dog.

They all were a coat of tears that we put on them from our suffering pet's and they are the most carrying people .if you treat your pet like family take them here

took my girl eve for an emergency surgery, staff was very caring and updated me every step of the way. they even sent a photo of my cat in recovery! great surgeons as well obviously! id recommend taking your pet here!

I'm actually surprised to read so many good reviews. Unfortunately, my experience with them was very disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I think they know what they are doing and they were very nice, but when came the price, it really didn't make any sense. It is even very shocking to me they are still in business. I brought my cocker spaniel in and I already knew what she had. She had ear infections and eyes infections many times before. Can you believe it cost me almost 500$? They do overprice and charge you for every little thing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I found a friendly stray cat and took her in to check for a microchip. None. Decided to have an appointment to get her shots. Asked vet if I could schedule a spay. Vet "checked" for a spay scar and went ahead to schedule her for the spay. Drop her off for the spay. Get a call a couple hours later that she's already spayed. Was informed since she was anesthetized I would still have to pay $177 for them essentially shaving her stomach. That included 2 shots they gave her that I never asked them to give her (leukemia and some max booster thing?) She was just there for the spay that never happened because these people are incapable and incompetent. Maybe hold her and shave a line up her stomach before knocking her out next time to check. Money hungry and dishonest for sneaking in two shots she did not need as she had already had her shots there and I never asked for the leukemia and unnecessary booster shot. I'd warn anyone against going here if you value your money.

Good work, but always find ways to overcharge you for everything, so before you go: 1st make sure you have no other options of where to take your pet 2nd make sure you ask how much for each little thing. Just know there is no way you are leaving there without a few hundred dollar bill.

Very accommodating and able to get seen relatively quickly, in my experience. We have been here a few times for things like gastro issues with my puppy when she unexpectedly had diarrhea, ate something she shouldn’t, or vomited. They are always very through and I am impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. I know when I come here that they will figure out exactly what’s wrong with my pup and how to help her. I highly recommend this vet.
