Workers were extremely rude and demeaning towards me as I received my dog back I realized he was timid n shaking and had multiple wounds n bumps across his back and snout I can’t believe they let this happen or possibly did this to my dog my best friend my better half after I trusted them to take care of him my dog he is such a good boy and now he’s traumatized for the rest of his life , he has not been the same after his first and last day at this horrendous place and this isn’t the only incident that has happened there a friend of mine reached out after I made a post on Facebook and told me that they let the bigger dogs fight and be aggressive towards the smaller ones and I thought they were supposed to be in different sections can someone please tell me what’s going on

I've brought my Coco two times, and each time I've had a great experience. The staff is friendly, and I love the results.

We've used them several times and trust them. 4 stars because they are a bit pricey and it seems turnover notes get lost between staff. You can tell them things on the phone, but when you go to drop off your pet, they may not have those instructions onsite

We have a 1 year old 80 pound Golden Doodle...We've had him groomed at other places a few times, and have not been happy. These folks are the real deal. They did a beautiful job...asked exactly what we wanted, and gave out Ollie a perfect haircut. We will be coming here form now on!

They take care of my puppy and haven't disappointed me with his haircuts.

I am very mindful of how/where I spend my $$$ because I want to feel appreciated, seen/heard, and have a sense of reciprocity in the exchange of $$$ for products/services. Well, Pooch Patio can get my money every time … E-V-E-R-Y. I wrote a post – not directed @ them – in which I vaguely mentioned an unfavorable experience I had the first visit to Pooch Patio. The owner - April - found me and emailed me about it. It wasn’t the standard “form” response (i.e. sorry you feel that way, no one else has ever said, well, X Employee said …). NO! It was a sincere, “I saw your post and would like an opportunity to talk to you about your experience.” April continued to follow up with me until she confirmed a time her manager Sarah could call me. Sarah called when April said she would, listened actively, explained what she thinks may have happened, but ultimately took accountability and requested that I give them a chance to get it right … COMPLETE OWNERSHIP. Although I wasn’t sure that pack play was the best choice for my furbaby, her commitment to excellence felt inclusive and it drew me in. I took him back and they had a plan that they worked and he adapted. Me, on the other hand – being the helicopter mom I am – noticed an instance in which I thought my furbaby was being bullied and called them about it. Their staff acknowledged my concern and made the adjustment. My furbaby has found a new community and belonging that feels a lot like a home away from home. Customer Service, Ownership, Leadership, Inclusion and Commitment to Excellence … I say Pooch Patio is worth every $$$ they earn.

The grooming at Pooch Patio is the BEST!! We have been taking Volta here for two years and every groom is perfect! She is a goldendoodle and they are really experienced with this breed. The daycare/boarding is also great, easy to book and safe. Love having cameras to watch Volta as she plays. Would recommend Pooch Patio to anyone!!

This is the best place so far for grooming. Friendly staff. Well organized. Catering to our needs. They redid my dog's hair when I was not satisfied with the 1st hair cut and my dog came out looking phenomenal. Need to schedule appointment ahead (they are busy) and drop off in the early morning.

My 10 yo Maltese, Madeline, has been going to The Pooch every 6-8 weeks for grooming since she was 12 weeks old. Every experience has been stellar, and she always comes home happy and with a perfect hairstyle. She gets a super short cut, and not once has there ever been a nick, abrasion, illness, or grooming mistake. I also had a doberman that attended daycare regularly, and he would run inside so fast he would practically knock the door down and run them over to get to the play yards! I love the consistency in the friendly staff (no high turnover and the manager has been there since it opened over 10 yrs ago) and how they always know who Madeline is. There is also incredible communication with the clients, and the facility is always spotless and smells nice and clean (which is not an easy feat with a bunch of doggie butts running around!) I highly recommend The Pooch Patio for all your puppy needs!

This place is so well run. I am over the top impressed. April (the owner) has covered every possible detail, and it shows. I left my “senior” pups here for the first time and admittedly was nervous about making such a big change. Not only did PP have the perfect boarding program for my fur babies, but when I picked them up at the end of their week long stay, they were so calm and content! They looked healthy and rested. This has never been the case with previous providers. I also called multiple times during the week to check on my pups and everyone I spoke with was so kind. And I’m sure I drove them crazy! I am thrilled to have found Pooch Patio and look forward to being able to travel in the future without having to worry about my babies.

My pup is a poofy bundle of clean after each grooming visit to the Pooch Patio. The staff is very attentive and welcoming!

I take my mini Australian Shepherd, Bonnie, here a few days a week for the past few months since we have gotten Bonnie. I am a helicopter dog mom, and this is probably an understatement. We have tried and researched many doggie day cares around the Dallas area, and no place has made us feel more comfortable than Pooch Patio. The staff is friendly, but they all know Bonnie by name and Bonnie is beyond excited to see all of them. I love that they group the pups based off of temperament and size, knowing my girl does better with smaller-medium sized dogs. The cameras are awesome and I love being able to check in on Bonnie during my breaks. She always comes home absolutely exhausted, and for an Australian shepherd, that’s a hard thing to achieve. I always see somebody in the rooms watching the dogs and monitoring that there is safe play occurring, which is something I love. Any concerns I have ever had with Bonnie the management always is so forthcoming and upfront about how to fix the situation or to help Bonnie feel at home there. The healthy communication is something that I truly respect and value. Finally, the grooming is top notch. Bonnie always comes home smelling great and looking so pretty! Though we have never had to board Bonnie overnight, I know that I would feel 100% comfortable doing it here. We love Pooch Patio!

I have a 7 month old golden doodle, and they did AWESOME!! It was his first groom, so I’m sure he was a nightmare, but they didn’t say anything, or complain that he was a puppy. I wasn’t even sure what to ask for, but we left and inch of fluff on and did a standard doodle head. HIGHLY recommend Pooch Patio! For sure going here for all of his grooms!

This is the second time we've used the Pooch Patio to groom Loki :) Our boy is an 85 pound Giant Schnauzer. He looks absolutely great every time we pick him up, even better than a "breed specialized" groomer we've tried in the past. The cost is affordable, and most importantly Loki is always happy and in a good mood when we pick him up. Loki has a bad knee so grooming and standing for 2-3 hours can be a pain, but I can tell the team works well with him to keep him comfortable. Extremely happy we found these guys!

Glenda does a great job with my yorkie Benji! I come all the way from Red oak for their great services! He is always looking stellar after his hair cut!

I love the pooch patio! And Honey & Lily love it too. They prefer to stay in a suite when they are there overnight so they have plenty of room to move around. Lily loves the doggy daycare staff and friends. Honey likes to just hang out with the staff. I don't trust many people with my dogs, but I trust Pooch Patio! Highly recommend!

Pooch Patio always does a fantastic job with grooming both my shih tzus and is incredibly patient with a very particular owner. 100% worth the drive and cost.

They were very nice and very affordable.

Brought my Little pup here for a cut. He needed it desperately. I guess his whole body was full of knots and very painful for him. He didn’t seem that way but nevertheless, I came to get his haircut. The service was exceptional. They kept me up to date and gave me options on how to proceed with this little guy. Definitely coming here again to get his future cuts. I absolutely love and trust this groomer. They are completely professional and have great groomer and stylist. For an additional charge, you can allow your dog to play in doggy daycare which is amazing too me. They also have a video camera which you can watch and your little fur baby have fun with other doggies. The prices are on the higher end but completely worth the money. I will not take Livi anywhere else besides here.

I dropped my dog for a basic bath and nail trim, they said she would be ready anywhere between 9 am when I dropped her off and 5 pm when they close and they’d call me when she was ready. There needs to be a more narrow window of when your dog will be ready rather than wait around all day just waiting for them to call - it’s impossible to plan your day around that. Staff was somewhat rude when I asked to have her ready by noon, that is 3 hours! Shouldn’t take that long for a standard bath. I recommend they implement reservations rather than a free-for-all. I would rather drop her off later knowing I could pick her up at a certain time. This will be the last time I come here.

My Heart is my Maltese, Casper (Casz), he is not one who enjoys car riding. He’s so darn smart, he knows we’re about to go somewheres and he’ll attempt to hide. Once we get into the car, he’s too little to look out the windows, he’s on me, that would be ok if he were still. I tell you all this to emphasize, when we’re getting close to Pooch Patio he jumping up & down, he loves them and I WILL NOT take him to any other Groomers, period. The staff loves this cutie and believe me he’s ALWAYS gorgeous. They’re the best.

They did such a good job on my maltipoo! He came back smelling and looking so good. It was his first grooming session ever. We will definitely be coming back!
