My dog looks great. The staff really love what they do.

I am not so sure about this place. It might not be fair to write a review and give three stars but my experience with calling was like, what? I called to make an appointment for my dog grooming and the lady said she’s not taking any new clients now but can put me on the waitlist which will take 2-3months at least. Um, no thank you.. i guess she is a “private” or “vip only” dog groomer..?

Excellent grooming experience from walking through the door to picking up your dog. Hershey has anxiety issues. Leigha and the team ensure that he has a calm and easy time during his visit. Yin I could give 10 stars I would do so.

They do such an awesome job and the people are so sweet. Parker always looks so handsome.

I’ve brought my doodle to Perky Poodle for a couple years now. They are always great with him giving my boy tons of love while taking him in and leaving the salon. He’s left with a great cut every time. I highly recommend them for your pets grooming needs.

I have brought My Golden Retriever, Abby here since 2018 and she gets SO excited every time I bring her in. She absolutely loves Perky Poodle and the staff- as do I. She is older with bad seasonal allergies and they always give me the options for extra add ons, such as the oatmeal bath to help with her allergies. It makes me feel better knowing she is in great and caring hands. I would highly recommend Perky Poodle to anyone looking for a groomer that will take great care of your baby and deliver a great experience and cut for your pup! They even keep your dog with the same groomer, how awesome is that!

I've actually never been to this place but I made an appointment. When I called the person that answered the phone she seemed overly casual. This was our first visit but she really didn't gather any information on the pet. What bothered me especially was that she didn't ask about shot records which is standard for most groomers. A short time afterwards my vet recommended that my dog get spayed He completed the procedure so I called back to reschedule since dogs aren't supposed to get wet for two weeks due to the stitches. When I called she responded in the same overly casual demeanor. I explained that my dog had gotten spayed and that I needed to reschedule. She asked if I would like to reschedule out a few days????? If a grooming business doesn't the basics regarding a pets physical state then I definitely don't want to go there.

They did a great job on my baby girl. She is very skittish but when I picked her up she didn't feel terrified. I could tell that they love her and gave her all the concern that my little girl needed.

Puppy came back with cuts all over his stomach

Just moved to Dallas and needed a new groomer for my dog Clover. I really like that they send text reminders! They did a good job in asking for what I wanted, and even addressed one concern I had after the grooming appointment for which I brought Clover in again and they touched up on a spot that I thought was too long. Friendly, clean, and accommodating establishment.

Excellent grooming place for my little poodle mix. They have always done a great job, are quick, and very friendly and helpful staff. A++ place!

They do a great job at Perky Poodle! My dog always looks great and smells great. I like that they take their time to listen to the customer on what they want for their dogs cut.

I will not bring my dog back to the this place. This is my first time writing a review but I expected something totally different. I went back to pick her up and her hair look like it had just been cut and they rushed through the work. She did not come out looking pretty and her hair was cut uneven. I did not even get bows or a little cute bandanna around here neck. My first time trying them out but she will not be back.

This place is TERRIBLE! First time here both my dogs were not cut how I asked, figured I’d give them one more shot being very specific and it was even worse! Each dog looked so choppy, their heads were cut so poorly I will have to go home and fix myself because when I asked for them to correct I was told the groomers had left for the day... unbelievable. Then they tried to charge me more than the first time without disclosing a “price charge” DO NOT TAKE YOU DOGS HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We moved to the area and wanted to try a local groomer rather than one of the big stores. We were so happy with the service and treatment of our pup. They did forget to trim his side claw, but when I called they were super apologetic and had us bring him back when it was convienant for us. heres a happy after grooming picture!

I usually don’t write reviews and this is the first time leaving one because my experience there was horrible. After I got home I checked my dog’s body to make sure everything was good. I found several wounds and scratches on his anus, penis, neck, eyelid and inside of his leg. I was so hurt broken that my dog got hurt from getting groomed. Also, my dog never bites me nor anyone however after grooming he seemed very stressed and traumatized because of his aggressive behavior towards me. Their priority should be the safety of the dog. It seemed like they rushed to cut his hair because of those scratches and also hairs on his legs were uneven in size. Also, they told me that I can pick him up between4pm- 4:30pm unless they call but when I came to pick him up they told me he wasn’t ready and told me to come back by 5:20 to pick him up. Which means it took them almost 6 hours to get my dog ready since I dropped him off at around 11:30am. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I would never ever recommend anyone to go here unless they want to hurt their dog.

I’ve been going to the Perky Poodle for nine years and they have always taken excellent care of my pet. They are the best in Dallas Texas and have always done an excellent job grooming and bathing my dog! Highly recommended!

Rude! My Husband and I walked in to ask for a booklet with prices. The woman up front said they didn’t have any, which is fine. She got a rude attitude when I asked for a price with the breed and weight of my dog. The second woman didn’t even acknowledge our presence.

On Saturday 6/16 we made a reservation for my small pup to have her monthly grooming sesión as usual.. just that this time she came home all beat up about 4 severe scratches and one deep wound on her little head, ( we didn’t noticed at first because her color is grey and black ) we went back to get some answers and the rude attendant said “It’s normal some times it happens with dogs” we’ve been taking her for several years and had never happen before! We asked to talk to the person who groomed her or the owner o person in charge and they denied her! So much for Pets lovers I’m taking legal matters that’s “Dog Abuse” I will give you 2 days until i get a fare response and explanation or I will get a lawyer and expose this people that Not only don’t do their job like they should but they abused my little Puppy!

Just had my first experience there today. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. I brought my 1 year old maltipoo in for a grooming and was introduced to the groomer personally, who was so sweet and you could just tell she loved her job. I picked my pup up and cutest cut ever! Exactly what I had asked for and more. My puppy also didn’t leave there unhappy like she had previous places I’ve taken her. Found my new pet salon!!! Highly recommend this place for quality service and reasonable prices

Lazy! Wanted to shave dog because they were crowded. Dog sat in kennel for 2 hours before they decided they didnt want to spend time grooming her. For $100+ dollars service should be much better. Avoid and find better groomer!

Best groomers by far. Tried several before coming across this grooming salon. It's been 3 years and I refuse to take my dogs anywhere else. Highly recommend making an appointment. They are accommodating and flexible when it comes to fitting your pet in for a last min appointment.

Hands down, the best in Dallas, if not all of North Texas.It shocks and shames me, but doesn't surprise me , that people continue to throw their money down the throats of PetShark and other inferior grooming salons.
