Dr. Chase and his staff go above and beyond to care for your pet. We moved to Richardson almost 2 years ago and this was the vet I settled on for our dogs after reading the reviews and I have never regretted it. Last year, Dr. Chase found a lump on one of my dogs and was extremely attentive and explained my options. I know that him finding that lump on her saved her life. Northwood Vet is also VERY honest, and does not try to Nickle and dime you, so I trust them 100%. We have a bulldog with allergies that comes here every 5 weeks or so for his allergy shot, and he is always in and out, plus they work with me to get all 3 dogs in at the same time or 2 at a time to go with my schedule.

When I had asked my friends to recommend a compassionate knowledgeable and reasonably priced veterinarian hand down Northwood was the one suggested. I took my 50 pound puppy into see them she had had mange when I rescued her and was breaking out a little bit they were kind and informative I will definitely go back.

We always board our very small dog, Margaret, there when we travel and they must do something really nice for her as her tail starts wagging the minute we drive up. The rates are reasonable and everyone is very nice. They also provide the vet care for Margaret and have a genuine concern for their patients. I think that we have gone there for over 20 years.

The staff is great and treats our furry friends as their own! Always very helpful and take the time to explain everything to us.

This place is a home-town find. How is it possible that everyone there is excellent at what they do? Luck? Seems unlikely. So I think it's because they filter out the bad apples before they go rotten. If you love your animal, bring them here.

Dr. Chase and his staff are so compassionate. They have so much knowledge, genuine care, and understanding. It's hard when something's wrong with our pets, and we don't have unlimited amounts of money. They give you options based on what is best for your pet and what you can afford. I cannot say enough good things about my years visiting here. Best vet ever!

Dr. Chase and his staff are exceptional. They are kind, knowledgeable, caring. Every experience I’ve had with them has been wonderful - from scheduling appointments, to check in, to getting my pups checked up and vaccinated. Dr. Chase has a huge heart for animals. He is personable and the visit never feels rushed. Northwood has provided great care for my two pups! It’ll be tough finding a new vet in Houston that provides a comparable level of care and service. I’ll miss the Northwood team!

We are relatively new to Northwood Animal Clinic but have had 2 serious health issues that have needed attention and some hard decisions. I am so grateful to have found this clinic because they not only give prompt, reliable, & professional attention to both the pets and me, but are all caring and compassionate. Both Dr. Chase and Dr. Shelly(sp?) took excellent care of my pups and when decisions needed to be made they were professional, as well as compassionate & helpful in coming to a decision as to what needed to be done. I am very grateful!

When I got my first kitten last year, he was having stomach issues so I called many vets trying to schedule an urgent appointment. I called a few and felt very discouraged, and then I called Northwood Veterinary. The staff member who I spoke to actually sounded so concerned for the kitten, which comforted me and prompted me to schedule with them instead of the others I spoke to. He helped fit me in to see the vet the next day. When I arrived, that same man helped me check in. I fail to remember his name, but he is so kind and has a true love for animals which is refreshing... and he is one of the main reasons I made this my permanent veterinary clinic. The vet is also very attentive and informative. I appreciate the service so much that I moved 30 minutes away recently and still make the drive because I know no other clinic will meet the standard they set.

We've been going to NVC since 1995. Drs Chase and Bounds have always treated us and our pets with respect. We've had up to 7 animals getting their care there. We've gone from puppy/kitten to end of life. They are always willing to refer out when necessary or requested. We've had so many pets that we have gone from a folder to a three-ring binder. I've thought about trying to find someone closer to McKinney - especially when there are emergencies - but still continue the drive to Dallas - and always will. Keep up the good work.

The doctors and support staff at Northwood Animal Clinic are the best! We have 2 English Bulldogs and have been taking them to Northwood for over 10 years. Dr. Chase is our preferred vet and he is knowledgeable and caring. The other great thing about this clinic is that you don't feel like they're pushing unnecessary treatments just to make extra profits. I would recommend this vet clinic without hesitation.

We've been taking our dog to Northwood for 3 years. They are always accommodating to his needs and help us to understand any needed follow-up care. Prices feel very reasonable as well. We predominately see Dr Chase and he's our favorite but other vets and techs there have been great too.
