Lakewood vet takes such great care of our dog, Tito. They are always very pleasant, happy to assist, and I know they treat Tito with the utmost care and compassion. If something comes up, they always find a way to squeeze us in or get a recommendation over to us. Thank you!

They are great at reminding me when booster shots are needed. Without them I would be lost. Thankful for their team members and great facilities.

I've been taking my Boxer rescue to Lakewood Veterinary Center for over 7 years - and my two other dogs for about 5. Dr. Wright and his super friendly team are the absolute best - they demonstrate genuine care and concern for all of the pets they see, and are exceptional at taking the time to talk to and explain any medical scenarios with owners. The few times we’ve taken our dogs to other vets for seemingly minor conditions like ear infections, we’ve had to go back to Lakewood Veterinary Center - they are extremely thorough and catch what other veterinary clinics don’t. I couldn’t recommend this clinic more highly - we’ll continue to take all of our pets to Lakewood Veterinary Center in years to come.

Dr. Wright and his staff take excellent care of our dog. He’s a senior dog, so he needs more attention now than when he was younger. We trust Dr Wright and wholeheartedly recommend Lakewood Vet.

This is the worst run vet I’ve ever experienced. They are so disorganized. For the 8 months we’ve been going to them, they put both of our dogs medical records under only one dog. So our other dog, was not getting any shots or tests she was due for because they had no record of her actual medical records. I only found our when trying to get their vaccination information for daycare. Mind you, both dogs have been seen by the vet more than once. I assumed the vet would know when they were due for any shots or tests... Turns our she is 6 months past due for tests and this place never would've figured it out! While we like Dr. Wright, I would not trust my dog’s health in a place that is run like this. We've had so many issues with this vet clinic - try someplace else!

Lakewood Veterinary Center is the best vet I have ever been to. My pup is my best friend, and everyone - from the front desk staff to Dr. Wright - is professional, kind, caring, thoughtful, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything they do and I know my BFF is in wonderful hands when I take him there. I trust them 100%!! The entire team has been such a blessing to me. My pup was my first dog that I've taken care of on my own, and this team has been so helpful throughout my dog's life, I am just so grateful. I barely ever give a rating of a 10 or 5 stars, but Lakewood Vet Center was a no-brainer. You won't find a better place to care for your furry family. Thank you Lakewood Vet Center!!

Ben and his wonderful Staff have cared for my children who are my dogs from birth to the Rainbow Bridge. The best of expertise, facilities and compassion.

We can always get an appointment and the vets and staff treat our pets like family.

I kept wondering why the vet bill seemed quite high… We just moved to the area so the convenience was great and they are nice but I really don’t like not being able to actually go in at all, not ever meeting the vet, and dropping my puppy off in their crammed tiny parking lot… and then paying three times as much as other vets Would charge. Would you drop your son or daughter off to a doctor you’ve never met?and never will…. Probably not… all in all … they are simply overpriced . I was able to get my puppies 12 Weeks shots for literally $200 less than what they were going to charge me just down the road at a different Vet and actually was Able to talk to vet face to face … Unfortunately we won’t be returning. At this point COVID is no excuse for lack of service and paying way more.

Friendly staff that really takes the time to make sure you and your pet are cared for - from reception, to techs, and beyond. Dr. Wright is thorough and always patient and kind in his explanations to my questions. Highly recommend!

First visit was a good experience.

Dr. Wright is caring and compassionate. I don't think anyone loves my fur babies more than I do, but he and his staff treat mine as I'd they were their own. He takes time to answer any and all questions without making you feel foolish for asking and he is honest in his recommendations. If a treatment is necessary he will tell you along with the risks and let you know what options you have. He also respects your wishes. I can't say enough about how great Lakewood veterinary is.

I can't say enough good things about this place. If you want a high quality of service and care by compassionate and dedicated professionals.... Go to Lakewood Vet. Their entire staff is knowledgeable and caring. We just got our pups teeth cleaned there and the expierence was nothing but positive. My dog even likes them -considering it's a doctor's office of course! I'm also a big fan of the texting service they use to communicate. Really easy and a big time saver.

My cat had a UTI, and after a two week course of antibiotics, he recovered but still had unresolved anemia. I’m sure the vet who treated my cat is experienced, but I’m not. She seemed to be put off when I asked a question or provided additional information. In my last conversation with her, she mentioned three or four possible options, but didn’t seem to recommend one over the others—it was as if the onus was on me to figure things out. Vets are not cheap; we all know that. But why does it seem as if so many have the attitude as if they are doing you a favor?

I scheduled an apt with them and ended up getting a hookup from a buddy for another clinic. I felt terrible but couldn’t pass up my buddies offer. Lakewood was very understanding and refunded my deposit for the visit. We’re still in the pandemic so I was VERY thankful. Very nice and helped me out, appreciate it!

Having just moved I needed to find a vet quick I could not be happier with Lakewood Veterinary, they are very caring professionals, I would not take Tucker anywhere else.

My puppy has been a patient here since we brought him home. They have helped us with routine care as well as figuring out some eye issues our guy has had. They fit us in fast and he always comes back calm, happy, and occasionally with a chewy for the road!

Our fur baby has been seen by Dr. Wright for the past 10 years. Dr. Wright is professional, thorough, experienced and offers excellent care. He is engaging and takes time to explain pertinent matters. The staff is warm and engaging and go above and beyond at every visit. I highly recommend Lakewood Veterinary Center.

All the clinic staff are incredibly nice and clearly care a ton about the animals! The techs and vets always answer my questions and make sure I understand everything about my pet's care.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My dog needed a physical and had a mass on his head. The vet was able to drain it and was able to recommend special food for my dog. They answered all my questions and the car side service is helpful.

Where do I begin. My puppy had a very common issue, Giardia- she was diagnosed and given 2 rounds of medication by one of the Vets. The second time she had her stool tested, I had to call to ask for the results of the test- they were sitting on them for a whole day without letting me know. Then during a follow up visit, she was still having diarrhea. She was seen by a different vet this time who suggested she take a different medication just in case the issue was not Giardia, but some other sort of infection or parasite. The Dr. failed to record this properly in her notes- she instead did a lazy write up and attributed the medication to the Giardia again resulting in my insurance company not covering the medication (because this was a 'preexisting condition' I followed up the day of the appointment saying- please give me the notes for the medication stating she potentially has a different bacterium/parasite needing to be treated. This didn't happen. I'm stuck paying $70 for a medication (that by the way you can get for $3 on chewy.com). The vet tech who answered the phone told me on 2 separate occasions that the vet would call me back to discuss this- they never did. Then she told me they refused to correct the notes to what the Dr, told me because that would be 'fraudulent' and that I'm basically SOL. What is actually fraudulent is taking improper medical notes! I told her that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company then, because they refused to give me any sort of make good on the meds, and she proceeded to tell me I am unethical. I have a family of Drs, I don't need to be patronized and told what is/isn't ethical. I did not feel that they had my dog's best interest at heart, I experienced them being highly unprofessional. Don't expect a call back in a timely manner, and don't be surprised if they attack you when all you try and do is get fair treatment.

Such sweet caring staff, really knowledgeable Veterinarian, really surprised us with their genuine caring! So sad we moved away, would definitely have kept going here for a long time!
