London and I have been to multiple groomers trying to find the right one. We finnaly found the perfect groomer. Flower is so patient with London. She transforms London into the queen she is. Flower is very patient and precise. I’m in love with her work and her professionalism. Below are pics of her before and after. Thank you again.

I brought my dogs in to be groomed last week and Downtown Pawz let me down MAJOR. You could see clipping lines on both my dogs. Some of the lines (for example, around their head and neck) were uneven. They nicked one of my dogs with the clippers on her foot. Nails were supposed to be done but it looks like they either didn’t do anything at all or just barely cut the tip. Makes me wonder if they did the other stuff I asked them to (teeth, ears, anal gland expressions). Find you another place to go.

We’ve been here before and had a decent experience but today, we picked up our dog and found him to be sloppy and unfinished. It looked like he was groomed by a trainee His ears were messy, chunks taken out of behind one side and the fur on top was long and unfinished. His left cheek was carved out while his right cheek was left poofy and longer His underside was left unfinished with long fur all along his tummy and legs His paws were left messy. We called and because of scheduling conflicts to have to take him back to get fixed, we ended up asking for a partial refund to take him elsewhere to be and ultimately got offered $15 ???? All in all, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

We have been taking our min pin here for over a year now! The staff is so friendly and caring of all the dogs. We are in the process of fostering a second dog whom wasn’t eating. The owner gave us great tips, food recommendations and excellent service! Our new one was also scared to get her nails cut. However, the staff had the patience in the world and made it happen. Thank you to the entire team!

Absolutely impressed by this local shop. We just moved downtown and I was expecting to pay insanely higher prices based on location alone. I’ve been to Petsmart and payed upwards of $75 to have my Malinois bathed and a little attention given to her nails. Today I walked one block from my apartment and paid just that to have BOTH of my Mals bathed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Employees are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They even took initiative to learn about allergies my dogs have in order to avoid any skin issues during their visit. I love the small town feel we have found in the middle of the city with this shop. Great place to get high quality pet food, treats and even raw options. I am beyond satisfied.

Definitely should have asked if there was a more expensive option for the nail trim. This is a poor job and idk if they were scared of my puppy or what but I’ll just go back to driving to PetSmart. Also, when I called to inquire, I always say “hello how are you” as common courtesy and all I got back was “...... so what can I help you with”. Get it together. Maybe our dog wasn’t bougie looking enough for the treatment I’ve been hearing they give other dogs. These pics show the hang nails my puppy have.

I have been ordering Downtown Pawz for the past 10 years for several dogs and have never had to replace one! They are high-quality, easy to read, don't "jingle" and last for years. I love these tags and highly recommend

taking my dogs here is easy peazy, i walk in for 2 nail trims, 6 -8mins later my dogs are done. i love this place, very nice staff.

It was a great visit, I came in under budget and they over-delivered. The dog came back happier and certainly much cleaner.

I brought my small dogs, Sammy and Milo for a summer shave, teeth cleaning, butt expressions, nail trimming, etc! They hadn’t been groomed in so long that they look like two brand new dogs! They smelled incredible and felt so soft. They were in good spirits when we picked them up!

Stumbled upon this store, it is great! Grooming and food and an excellent staff! And near to my new apartment.

Our pup is always excited to go and get groomed. Their staff is experienced, professional, & genuinely loves what they do. They also give great advice when we have any puppy issues. I highly recommend Downtown Pawz!

I just moved to the area and this place was within walking distance... I had read the poor reviews about bad service, rude staff and overpricing... this was not at all the case. I called and reserved a spot same day. The staff even let me come in half an hour early when my day ended sooner than I thought. I brought in my 50 lb border collie mix who had been running wild for the last 6 months. Full of dirt and matted up. They took him, talked me through what needed to be done and three hours later I had the most gorgeous dog. He had never been groomed so thoroughly for so long and it usually costs me more than this. I paid ~85 bucks. They combed out his tail! Never in my life has anyone been able to do that. Well worth the money. I'm beyond happy with this place and will be going back.

The Groomers are weak , They don’t know what they are doing. Don’t waste your time find some real groomers.

Apparently both people behind the counter are glued to the seat, could not bothered to get up and help me or the other customer that was there when I was. Just pointed us both to the back, yelled instructions to the other guy who couldn’t find his preferred dog food. I ended up buying the wrong thing but I’ll just donate it to a shelter. No way I’m going back there, they were so rude. They couldn’t even be bothered to say anything as I was leaving, so I spoke up and says thank you, to which they replied “you’re welcome” without an ounce of sincerity. Had they been friendlier or more helpful to begin with it wouldn’t have come across so passive aggressively. It’s hard to beat a convenient location, but the terrible service here isn’t with it.

My husband and I have been taking our yorkie and shih tzu here for almost three years. We absolutely love this shop! They are very personable and our dogs loveg going here Their prices are very reasonable and they are extremely accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone that lives downtown or close to the area!

The the cut was absolutely awful!!!! I could have done that.....it was uneven, blotchy around the legs and his tail was cut weird....I will not be back or refer anyone there to cut their baby......mine even with a scarf looks a mess....sorry I wanted to give them a great review because of the kind staff but unfortunately the groomer does NOT know how to groom a Shihtzu. And I was charged the price of a high qualified groomer of which the groomer is not, for a Shihtzu anyway. If I knew how to post a pic, I would . It's totally embarrassing for me and the poor dog. His hair is close to a chihuahua now. Won't have to groom or cut him for atleast 2 months. guess I'll have to drive back out to my old groomer in Plano that knows how to Fluff and cut a Shihtzu. So.....i actually took my dogs back a few months later because I was desperate for a bath and both dogs came back sick. One got a nasty staph infection, as my Dr. Put it, and the other. Stomach illness. Needless to say the trip to the vet was a whopping $400 to treat both of them. Joe Patr is absolutely right! Stay far away from this place if you love your pets.

WARNING TO ALL DOWNTOWN PET OWNERS: DO NOT take your dog to get groomed here! I specifically told them not to shave the underside of my dog, and what did they do? Shaved my dog! This has caused him extreme pain and discomfort as the neglect from the groomer cased razor burn on his already sensitive skin. Due to inability to listen to customer request and provide safe animal care . I will be spending even more money at the vet getting ointment to alleviate the pain they caused. This is a warning to all residents so they can avoid the same hassle, harm, and financial burden to their beloved fur friends!

My dogs have been going here for years. They always fit us into their schedule, do a great job and my dogs love going here! I highly recommend them, especially if you live downtown
