Very grateful for them fitting me in for same day appointment as my pup was not doing that well. They examined, treated, and gave meds. Very smooth and stress free experience

We suspected our pet had a UTI and we are relatively new to the area. I tried calling a few local veterinary offices but none would work with a new client on short notice. CityVet was different right from the very first call. Very pleasant and helpful. Helping me get an appointment the very next day. The experience was just as good when we arrived. Reception immediately took us to a waiting room. A veterinary assistant checked on us within 2 minutes and started the process. The Lead Veterinarian (Dr Tubby) talked with us for a good amount of time about our Dog's condition and contributing factors as well as prevention. The whole experience was very positive and we are very happy with the results so far. We have antibiotics to take for 10 days so we have to wait to determine if this does the trick. Staff are all extremely helpful and professional. If I had to give any feedback for improvement it would be that the room was a little dirty. But it was a late afternoon appointment so I have little doubt it was clean most of the day.

I love brining my dog here! All of the staff from front desk, to vet techs, and doctors are always so kind and caring. I have a rescue dog who gets extremely nervous at any vet office, it’s so so stressful for him. I’ve had terrible experiences of being told he’s aggressive or “too much” with other vet offices and I’m always nervous about bringing him in for care. This office treats him with all the kindness in the world! I know when I come here that he’ll be in good hands and they are always so patient with him. They even cut his nails which is a VERY big thing for him! So very thankful for this office and their kindness with my baby! Thank you to the office for all of your help and for treating us like family!

The CityVet staff did not hesitate to help my pup. She was having a horrible allergic reaction to a bee sting. I live just a few minutes away from the clinic, and I'm very thankful to have such amazing medical professionals near me. Thank you Dr. Kittie Greer and her team for their quick reaction time to drop everything they were doing to help my pup, I'm forever grateful.

We have to go on a last minute visit. Dr. Tubby explain everything in detail and all the staff was really helpful. After this visit I am making this my primary clinic.

I scheduled (confirmed by text) for six days of boarding and vaccine updates for my dog over thanksgiving week. Confirmed the $36/night fee. Confirmed the dates… I called the day before to find out hours on the date CityVet confirmed my boarding drop off, and was told they are closed that day. Thankfully I still had time before they closed the day before to drop off my dog (for an extra $36/night even though they had confirmed dates I had requested). When I dropped off my dog I confirmed the dates I would be gone, reconfirmed the vaccines and asked for her to be bathed and teeth brushed prior to pick up. Given the extra night charge I expected the bill to be a little under $300. Imagine my surprise when it was $661! I asked for an itemized receipt, which they were able to provide, and they charged me for an annual check up fee, including multiple things like fecal float test for $55, some prescription for medication that was neither discussed or described to me, and wasn’t provided to me. I questioned the charges and asked for a refund - the current employees didn’t know how to process a refund so said the manager would take care of it the next business day. The manager called me (because I had responded to a text to please post a public review about my experience- and I had texted back saying let’s discuss before I post…) and apologized- saying it was a new employee who checked my dog in and who signed her up for an expensive annual exam without asking me or discussing- despite my clear request for the vaccines and I had pointed this out on text to/from the business as well. After much discussion she said they had prescribed heartworm prevention medication- which I told her we already had and didn’t need and also didn’t receive. She agreed to refund the cost of the Rx and visit- both of these were neither disclosed or discussed with me. I waited for the credit card statement, and she only refunded the Rx cost- leaving me to pay for an “annual exam” that I didn’t ask for and didn’t approve. The bait and switch is impressive, more than doubling the cost of boarding. Next time I’ll pay my neighbor to watch my dog.

Dr. Tubby at CityVet Preston Hollow location is our favorite vet, and has been taking care of our seven year old golden doodle since we brought him home. He is kind, compassionate, and explains everything thoroughly. He won’t recommend unnecessary expensive procedures or medications, and will give you time to think about all of the options for your pet without making you feel rushed. We are very happy with Dr. Tubby and the whole staff at Preston Hollow CityVet.

Krista and Dr. Greer was amazing. They showed professionalism, they were knowledgeable and treated my pup with care! One of the best vets I’ve trusted my animals with!

Dr. Greer and staff are so wonderful! They were able to fit us in last minute after the emergency vet from the night before quoted us over $1100 for stitches... The cost was much cheaper, and they were able to fit Wink for a cone that actually fit and stayed on. They treated Wink like one of their own and kept us in the loop and informed the whole time. Would highly recommend taking your pets here for their health care!

Dr.G is the best, she is honestly super sweet and so honest. I trust this clinic the best. Krista is the kindest with animals.

Dr. Tubby is hands down the best vet around!!! He has saved both of our dogs lives (yes both of them????) and our grandmas diabetic pup! He will go above and beyond for your pet and treat them as his own! He is very knowledgeable and takes great care of his patients! The office staff is kind and very professional as well! We moved to Houston, but we still bring the dogs to Dallas to see Dr. Tubby!

Dr. Tubby and his staff are amazing!!! I always know my pups, Lyric & Tucker are in good hands when we go for check ups. Tucker our wiener dog was having some back issues that seemed to be causing him to be a little aggressive. Dr. Tubby suggested a weight management dog food that helped Tucker lose weight and regain his confidence. He’s no longer whining or wincing when he moves. Tucker is even playful now and doesn’t seem to have any of his aggression issues. Dr. Tubby didn’t only suggest the new diet, he ordered the food for us so he knew we got it. Go see the team at CityVet Preston Hollow, you’ll be glad you did.

City Vet - Preston Hollow is one of the best clinics I have had the pleasure of stepping into! The staff and management is just amazing. Everyone works as a team and really cares about your animals!

I had to leave city vet after the way their team responded to me when my dog had a seizure. Their practice manager mocked me for my questions / thoughts about why he had the seizure. I ended the call crying because I was so scared for my dog and confused why I was being treated so badly when I just wanted answers. Ironically, I ended up being 100% correct about the trigger for my dog’s seizures (as he only gets them when he eats indigestible objects), and the practice manager who mocked me and told me that was “impossible” was 100% wrong.

Dr. Greer and Dr. Tubby are awesome the staff their is so nice and kind. I never feel rush as I have at other vets.

The vets name was Kurtis Tubbs...which is the most vet name ever. And he was super nice/funny! He also told us that our schnauzer was a Yorkie mix...and wasn't brindle! How realities can change with just a few small words!!!

Dr. Tubby is a godsend. Direct and no BS, he knows exactly how to take care of my two kitties, Mr. Lincoln and Ms. Kitty. I was stressed and ready to give up on Mr. Lincoln because he was peeing all over my apartment and staring me down as if he was rubbing it in. Dr. Tubby took time from his schedule to talk me down off the ledge and suggested Feliway and new training methods to help him calm down. Then, when Ms. Kitty had halitosis and clearly in pain, he did a flawless job in removing her decaying teeth and made her all the more cuddly and loving. The facility is great, clean, friendly, and they really know how to take care of animals and their human companions.

Dr. Tubby and the whole staff were amazing!!! We typically take our dog to a vet Fort Worth, but she had been sick for a few days and needed to see someone quick. They got her in with the vet so fast and took amazing care of her. They explained everything so clearly and treated her on the spot. I will definitely be recommending them to others!!

Dr Greer was so nice and informative! Asked me about everything before they proceeded and told me the price! She was just so nice and I felt so comfortable with her taking my muffin to the back for the procedures. Would definitely recommend her for anyone and I'll ask for her next time!
