The vet Mr. West was helpful, took his time explaining things and the front staff was excellent. One of them helped an elderly lady carry her kitty crate for her into the waiting room.

Overpriced what it is. But you know they got to pay for this nice new building. I had both a spade and neuter done and you know they're about twice as much as it was out in the country but they were convenient

We have been to 3 vets in the 7 years we have been in Houston. This one, while a bit out of our way, has been the cleanest and most friendly. Our dogs are our family and we take good care of them. Their care is of utmost importance to us. They are insured and we use Care Credit to take care of vet bills. The vet works with us on these financial needs

Great staff, great doctor's. I've been taking my two dogs, Max and Rocky, to them, for over two years. Dr. Caballero saw my dog Rocky last week. He wasn't feeling well, he wasn't his usual self, not eating, or playing. The doctor noticed a bite in his neck, as well that he had strained his back. He

We are a very small F1b Standard Goldendoodle Breeder and have been clients of Dr. C for years and years for our regular Veterinary needs. We also have a repro vet that cares for reproductive testing and evaluations. Last week our dam, who was 6 weeks out from whelping, in a matter of hours developed a SERIOUS case of mastitis, which can be fatal in dogs. It was after hours (11 pm) and all the ER vets were 5+ hours out with wait times so we decided to begin treatment at home, praying she would improve through the night with constant attention. I Made a call to the repro vet the next AM as soon as Phone lines opened and they would NOT fit us in, even with the emergent nature of our situation, and referred us to an ER clinic. I called Cypress Veterinary Hospital and begged and they gladly got me in with Dr. Richards. AMAZING treatment, amazing bedside manner, truly a Godsend and I am so thankful Dr. Caballero added her to his staff. We will be using Dr. Richards (who also worked for said Repro vet) for our reproductive health needs in the future and of course continue to use Dr. Caballero as well. Cypress Veterinary Hospital still works like my grandfather who was a vet for over 60 years did, putting customer service and client relations at the highest priority. Thank you CVH!! Also just to note past experiences-- Dr. Caballero has literally saved our cat's life TWICE and my Dorkie's life once-- I trust him and his judgement. He is never in a rush and is conservative with treatment plans/options.

Amazed at this Clinic. I’ve been taking my dog Bingo to the wrong vet! I took him in December to his vet due to an open wound , his vet said there was nothing wrong. They took X-rays and told me it’ll heal it self , that they didn’t find anything and to just monitor it. It’s now July and his wound never closed. I called multiple vets and because of Covid I could not go in the clinic with my Bingo. I did more research and came across Cypress Veterinary Hospital. I was seen on the same day I called for an appointment, no wait, my baby was treated on the same day AND I got to go in with him! I am SO HAPPY so far with the experience. The front desk ladies were super quick and friendly. Jennifer was the tech who took care of Bingo along with The Doctor who was super sweet. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Cypress Vet Hospital took the best care of my cat during her spay. Their attention, response and follow-up has been amazing! I look forward to continuing to work with them. The whole team have been so kind!

My Vet. Dr Caballero has taken care of my guys for 7 years.

I am liking this vet clinic. We are new. We have 2 dogs. After not being able to get into our regular vet when our dogs were sick or hurt (they were always booked) it was time for a change. This clinic was able to take one of our dogs same day I called. The vet got him fixed up and gave my dog the necessary medication and instructions. Had to take our other dog (not an emergency) and was able to get in the next day. Each time, after seeing our pets, I spoke to the doctor over the phone. (Had to wait in the car) He was very informative, explained things well, listened to my questions and answered them all. He was very patient (which was better than our old vet). The fees were reasonable and overall, I would recommend them. The staff seems to be efficient and friendly. The only reason, I did not give 5 stars is because of having to wait in the car. The mask mandate was lifted over 2 months ago. It's pretty hot in Houston to sit in your car.

I have been taking my dog to the vet here for over a year and I have no complaints with the service I’ve received. All the doctors and staff have been great and very informative. However, I took my dog to get groomed here and dropped her off at 8am per their policy. At 4pm I still had not received any call from them for updates. I called the office, and the staff told me that she was next in line to be bathed and groomed. I called again right before their 6pm closing time to receive an update as they had yet to call me to tell me anything. The staff member told me that my dog would be done at 630pm, and to just wait outside the old building in my car at that time. Staff would be on the lookout for me as the phones would be off. I did as i was instructed, and received my dog at that time. I don’t normally post any kind of review, but the service I received by the grooming department was unacceptable. They had had my dog since 8am, but didn’t start on her until after 4pm. I don’t know if they took her out to use the bathroom or if she was just in a crate the entire time. 4 stars for the vet, but I’ll be taking her elsewhere to get groomed in a timely manner.

The staff is very experienced and efficient. I've never been inside the building. But I've never had to wait too long in the parking lot for them. They saved my Callie girl last year!!

They are always very professional and work with me on what needs to be done and what can wait. Also what I can and not afford at the time. Love this place and so do my two dogs.

Great service and these people really care.

We were very happy with the responsive caring efforts of the staff at Cypress Veterinary Hospital. Our puppy was very lethargic and would not eat. Our previous Vet scheduled a surgery 10 days out. We called Cypress Veterinary Hospital and they got us in that morning for an evaluation and performed the needed surgery to remove the blockage from his small intestine that afternoon. Not only were they quick to act, but they were constantly in communication letting us know how our dog was doing and what to expect moving forward. Dr. Richards did an amazing job on his surgery and follow up. Afterward I found out that she even came in on her day off to check on our dog and make sure that his recovery was going well. This combined with the friendly office staff and assistants made it an easy decision to make this our permanent vet. highly recommend them.

We have used a few vets in the area, Dr. C and his team are by far, the best around! They have saved 3 of our animals and several of our friends animals, that most vets, would just put down. They really care about their patients and pet parents. Their new facility has even more new technology to help them service even more patients! We have been using them for nearly 10 years and have no interest in changing vets! They really are a wonderful staff and facility!

We have been taking our pets to CVH for some time. We recently had a major issue with our male cat. Complete urinary blockage and a life threatening situation. 3 weeks of continual high quality care by Cypress Veterinary Hospital along with 2 expertly executed surgeries by Dr. Caballeros saved our cat's life when it wasn't looking good for him. I really can't say enough about the loving care that is given by this group of professionals. I love taking all my dogs to see Dr. West! He’s so caring, and always takes the time to reassure me and answer all my questions honestly. When two of my dogs fell ill in two days, he happily saw them both as drop offs first thing in the morning, despite the short notice. He worked them in very quickly and called me with updates within an hour of my dropping them at the clinic. He also made sure one of them could get a same-day appointment with a specialist at a specialty hospital (the hospital had told me she would have to wait 10 days to be seen)! And then he called the next day to see how she was doing. It’s the little things like that which show how much he really cares for all his animal patients. :) The staff is also so kind and professional. They always answer their phones promptly and have a great attitude. They also treat all of my girls with love and respect, and I feel my dogs are in good hands with all of the technicians. I just can’t say enough good things about Cypress Veterinary Hospital and Dr. West! I trust him completely with the care of my five pups.
