When our 18 year old cat was being diagnosed we have experienced only compassion and professionalism. They were carrying and explained all options fully. Our cat passed away on the day she was scheduled to be put down. Today a week later we received a condolences card with hand written notes from the hospital. It was an unexpected beautiful Christmas gift.

Awesome staff....Dr Schneider is the best. Takes all the time you need to explain your pets health. Extremely kind and patient ..will not go anywhere else.

Just spent 600 bucks getting our puppy spade and hernia fixed. She had a reaction to the stitches a few weeks later and wanted us to pay for the return visit. Stating its not our fault that she reacted this way. Well... this is when, we figured out that this place is "now" about the buck and the quality and care of your fur baby is not their top priority anymore. Too many vets around now not to shop some where else. Beware before coming to this location they are no longer what they used to be. So sad

We've been taking our dog who has a skin issue and they have been very helpful. The vets have taken their time to explain what they are doing and how we should proceed. They are transparent and honest about our best approach. Can't wait to have my pup 100%.

Excellent place to take your pet. They can usually get you in the same day. Vet takes the time to visit with you and make sure all your questions are satisfactorily answered.

Excellent hospital for my baby dog. The doctor is awesome and she loves westies. I felt a lot of confidence because of that. People that know westies are hard to find. Always available to help you

Five stars for professional affordable service for my dogs. I give them 5 HEARTS for the care they gave her and us at the end of her life. Providing medicines to ease her suffering and giving us a few more days with her. 17 yrs, 4 months, and 5 days my pup, Heart, lived. I was told her life expectancy was 12 yrs. Thank you, Doctors and staff, for your love and care you gave my dog. Blackhorse Hospital treated us like family.

Great doctors, best diagnosis ever.

I called in the early afternoon to try to get an appointment, same day, for my Frenchie who ended up tweaking his back and was clearly in pain. I had never been to Blackhorse prior to this but my regular vet couldn't get us in until the following day. Needless to say it was a blessing in disguise! From my interaction with the receptionist, to the vet techs and the vet (we saw Dr. Monier) we are so thankful we found this clinic! The staff was compassionate, efficient, and very thorough; even with the new COVID protocols they made it an extremely comforting experience and I won't be taking my pup anywhere else. You can't put a price on good quality care but I will say that they are affordable imo. Highly recommend this wonderful clinic!

This is one of the best vet clinics in the country. I absolutely love the professionalism and reliability of this clinic. The doctors are very helpful and the front staff are so friendly and professional. I used to use our local vet for many years, but when my dog developed a huge lipoma in his arm pit they blew it off like it was not a big deal. The first day I took him in to Blackhorse to have a second opinion Dr. Monier immediately took samples and tested him for cancer cells. I ended up getting them to remove it and now he is like a puppy again. Props to Dr. Monier, and the front staff Ashlee, Jan, and Sharyl. If you want people who care about your pets as much as you do this the vet clinic that you want to go to.

The people at Blackhorse Animal Hospital are absolutely amazing! My cat was diagnosed with diabetes last October and dr. Monier and her staff worked so hard to help me with her. They worked with me and my schedule and limited budget and helped give my cat amazing care. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough and we had to put her down on February 1 of this year (almost 2 weeks ago). The day we put her down dr. Monier could tell I was struggling with it and as I was holding my cat in my arms she asked if she could make a paw print in clay. The paw print turned out beautifully and it is something I will treasure forever. They had already gone so far above and beyond for me. Today in the mail I received a card made out to me and my family with handwritten messages from everyone on the staff wishing me and my family condolences and letting us know we are in their thoughts and prayers. That was something that I would not have expected from a vet who had only been treating my pet for a few months. However it showed me that though they only knew my cat for a few months, they truly cared about her and cared about me and my family. I would and will recommend this vet clinic to everybody I know. I highly recommend them and trust that they will do whatever they can to help with your furry companion.

Drs. here have been so so caring in every situation with my 2 best friends. I felt that I was with family when we needed to let Hummer rest. I am so very grateful to Dr.Monier for her wonderful,warm, caring touch she gives to her patients and parents. I will never forget the comfort that was given to me. Thank you.

I cannot say enough about the entire staff at Blackhorse. They understand short-nosed dog breeds. We have received advice, compassion, and excellent treatment on each and every visit. Their prices for services and specialty food are competitive and pickup is easy. We have been through a few different vets before we found them and I can only say that we drive way out of our way to bring Bob here and will continue to do so because we trust they have our little fur-baby as their main priority.

Front office, the technicians, the doctors are great... they care and it shows. I can't say enough about my quality experiences with this hospital. I've left every time feeling good and I'm extremely grateful for the quality services they have provided me and my dog Kyote. For their empathy and kindness and great attitude I commend the whole staff and give my most sincere thanks.
