Edit: I have to change my mind on this. The last visit completely traumatized my animal and he was returned to us covered in feces inside his carrier. We will NOT be going back. Staff is pretty awesome at this location. They're bound by Corporate policies that attempt a "one size fits all" approach, but the folks at the Cypress hospital do their best to go above and beyond. They seem to really love animals!

If I could give 0 Stars I would. My dog has been going to Banfield his entire life, had multiple surgeries with them and everything g else and never had a problem. This was in St Louis. I recently move to Houston where I wanted to stay in the Banfield database with my dog. My dog had to go in today to get medication refilled. Banfield a policy is to drop your dog off where they put them in a cage in the back. They say it’s because of Covid but in reality this way they can get more animals a day in there to make more money. I was told at 10 am to bring my dog in which I did. 5 and a half hours later with no word I called Banfield to get a status on my dog and his medication refill but was put on hold. After 10 minutes on hold I drove to Banfield keeping my phone on where I stood at the counter to not be helped for 10 more minutes and at this time I’m on hold for 20 minutes. I walked in the back to get someone’s attention because at that point I felt my dog was being held hostage. Upon walking back and past 2 people and not asked anything a woman ran at me screaming in my face without asking what’s going on. They brought my dog out to me 5 minutes later and I was told they don’t know why he was back there for so long today and that the doctor just saw him. I am contacting their distract manager about this as I know all Banfields are not bad but this one needs a reshaping of their workforce.

Vet had an attitude, seem to not care at all. I’ll never come back here again. They all got attitudes for days this is why I stop practicing vet tech because of this main reason.

CANT REACH THESE PEOPLE. I tried to make an appointment for a preventive care visit. The person on the phone said to just come between 9-12 she’s trying to transfer the records from another clinic. I never received a reminder call to confirm the appt to ensure file transferred. tried to call morning of appt and the phones were on night mode for the first hour of them opening. After the 8th time I called someone answered and put me on hold for 11 minutes. I hung up and didn’t get to confirm if we can come for the appt. going to another location.

My pet has been a patient with Banfield for 11 years. The staff and doctors are really amazing.i would not change a thing, theyare always kind and helpful. My pet is very comfortable with the staff

I will never go back! The staff is VERY unprofessional, very rude! My fur baby has been waiting for a refill for 2 weeks!!! How is that possible and/ or professional?? My doggy is still not feeling well and they never respond, they are never helpful and always make it seem I'm crazy for asking! ITS MY FUR BABY! This place SUCKS!!

I had a 10:30 standard appointment(not drop-off). The Dr didn't see my dog until 4:30. They didn't call a single time to give an update.

I currently bring my dog to this Banfield location. This review is more of a heads up for pet owners considering signing up on their wellness plan. They do a wonderful job of preventative health care, screenings, and routine treatments at a discounted rate through their wellness plan. That being said, if your pet has a sudden issue or emergency; they may not see your pet based on appointments available! They won't squeeze them in for emergencies. So, before you sign up with them, you need to know that most likely you will have to take your pet to an emergency clinic in an emergency situation. My previous veterinarian before I moved would squeeze our pets in on a walk-in basis in those critical times! I feel that the "Hospital" in the name is very misleading, as it implies that they do emergencies as well as routine appointments. That's not the case here.

They did not even care to treat my sick pup and made a whole scene in front of everyone in the store. Highly do not recommend these people do not care about your pets they just want your money.

I have a 10 week old doberman puppy. We had her dewclaws removed and her ears cropped at a different clinic almost 2 weeks ago. I believe my puppy has a UTI, dropped her off at 8AM. Dr Flores called me (at 2PM) claiming he cannot get any urine from her, (it’s been 6 hours at this point and she hadn’t peed once.......... and she’s a puppy ???? doubtful.) and he’s gonna send her home with a urine collection kit for us to collect the urine ourselves and then drop it back off, not a problem. I get there to pick her up and her gauze covering her dewclaws (because she had surgery to have them removed) were SOAKED in urine. If I squeezed her paws I could of filled the urine collection cup with all the urine soaked in her gauze. They wanted to send her back home with us with the gauze covering her stitches covered in urine!!! When I requested to speak with Dr Flores about my unhappiness with the care my dog received, and that her urine soaked stitches was unacceptable he then tried to tell me that what I did to my dogs ears was unacceptable!! Dr Flores I never once asked your opinion on what to do with MY dogs ears, and you only tried to flip the narrative because you know what you did was WRONG!! I do not recommend this place, I will be finding a new Banfield clinic to take my puppy. (Only staying with banfield because of the puppy insurance program) This hospital gets ZERO STARS FROM ME!!

No longer feel comfortable leaving my pet in their care, especially drop offs. Been going here 10yrs, they used to be fantastic. Their volume of customers has drastically increased over the last few years, but their administrative processes did not scale accordingly, becoming borderline negligent. I’m really disappointed.

Great customer service, all the way until the last minute of the day. I called right before closing for history records. I had to rush my fur baby into a pet er next to my house and they needed to see the dogs history (pancreatic illnesses). After calling several PetSmart's, I called here in desperation. Keandra (I hope I spelled correctly) was quick to answer, polite, and efficient.

I had a simple question for their front desk. I asked to determine if my dog was chipped when we had him fixed or not. Extern (don't know her name) could not pull up the records and didn't ask anyone for help. I asked to speak with Dr Flores and apparently he was too busy to speak with a customer for 30 seconds, the excuse from the Extern was he was gone, then she changed it to he's here but going to be on calls. I asked if I can bring my dog back to their location within 5 minutes but apparently they don't close at 7 they close at 6:30 so that was another dead-end. Everyone wants to go home on time but don't advertise you stay open to 7 when you don't. Also, try to be more customer friendly. Not renewing my contract for my 3 dogs *$160 a month * and also going to go to Copperfield banfield from now on. They are much nicer and easier to work with.

We used them for 2 of our dogs years ago. 1 eventually had cancer which started from a lump on his leg that they told us not worry about. Now we are trying to adopt some more rescues and can't get them to answer the phones for history of all we treated our other animals. We wont be using them or their insurance moving forward.

The vet was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. But I feel like they are over selling the plans. The front desk ladies were working very hard to make the drop off and pick up process speedy while making sure the pet parents understood the aftercare.

I take all my fur babies to Dr. Flores. I have gone to other Banfield locations and seen other Dr's but none have provided me the service that Dr. Flores does. He is kind, patient and seems very compassionate and never makes me feel rushed. Thank you Dr. Flores for the great care you've provided me and my family with our pups.

Very convenient at CVS in Cypress. Not too crowded. Employees were very nice and professional. On a Saturday morning, much easier than taking off work to go to the vets office during the week. Prices have gone up since last year, but still less expensive than an office visit. Can get all your pet meds here too.

Took my dog in today. And when we picked him up he was barking like crazy jumping all over us Which is not like him. NEVER AGAIN!! the staff is horrible, bad customer service and bad attitude. If you don’t like working with animals find another job!!
